00:02A police alleged a 50-year-old man stabbed a woman and a teenage boy on Cascade Street in Raceview,
00:09which is a suburb of Ipswich, late yesterday. The man then allegedly set fire to a home.
00:16Our forensic police were here yesterday combing through the scene to collect evidence.
00:21Police tape still surrounds two homes this morning and officers do remain at the scene.
00:27But otherwise, it's been pretty quiet. People have been going off to school and work,
00:32but no one so far is keen to talk about the events that unfolded here yesterday.
00:37Now, we do know that a 50-year-old man who was the alleged offender has now been charged
00:43with arson and two counts of attempted murder, domestic violence offences.
00:50Police say all three people are known to each other, but we don't know what the exact relationship is.
00:56Now, thankfully, that 15-year-old boy who was in a critical condition is now in a stable condition in
01:03hospital.
01:04The 40-year-old woman is in a stable condition in hospital.
