01:23Different conditions to greet the drivers today.
01:27This is going to be a good one.
01:2939 laps of feature race coming up.
01:31Unlike the sprint race, a compulsory pit stop is required today,
01:35and it is four Grand Prix points available.
01:38Four DRS zones in total coming out of the chicanes and out of the hairpin at this circuit,
01:45giving plenty of opportunities for overtaking.
01:48And it made very close racing in the sprint racing yesterday.
01:53Well, here you can see the grid.
01:55It has been wet out there this morning, but it's starting to dry up now.
01:59And with the feature race, you have to use both sets of tyres in the feature race.

02:17Welcome to Grand Prix Sunday.
02:19And the Formula 2 feature race staring into the eyes of Laurence van Hoopen,
02:23who takes pole position across from the man who ceded the lead of the championship,
02:30Likula Solov.
02:31Gabriele Mini took that championship lead yesterday.
02:34Third on the grid will be Martinez Stenshawn,
02:36who's having a decent weekend so far as well.
02:39As you mentioned, Chris, damp conditions this morning.
02:43It remains damp offline.
02:44In fact, that start-finished straight,
02:46probably the driest area of the circuit I've seen, actually.
02:49Fans in the stands preparing with ponchos and hats, though,
02:53because we've seen that the chance of rain for this Formula 2 feature race, 90%.
02:59The wind is whipped up.
03:01It looks relatively inclement out there.
03:04And so we may well see DRS disabled wet tyre conditions before the race is out.
03:12But let's do the first thing first, shall we, Chris?
03:15And find out, with all of the various penalties and tribulations through the weekend,
03:18and how they line up for this longer of the two Formula 2 races.
03:23This is a journey into the known both for the track and the conditions in terms of feature race,
03:28and here's how they're going to line up.
03:29Sanapur Intrapova-Zak has withdrew from the weekend due to medical reasons,
03:33so Mary Boyer on his own on the back row there.
03:36We're down to 21 drivers.
03:38Olly Gertha and Colton Herta both making good progress yesterday.

04:56What a frantic race we did have yesterday.
04:59A brilliant sprint race, eventually won by Noel Leon.
05:02He becomes the first Mexican to win in the Formula 2 championship
05:06and first to win at this level since your friend and mine,
05:10Esteban Gutierrez, won in GP2 four times in his tenure in this series.
05:17So a great moment for Mexico.
05:19I'm sure Esteban Gutierrez will be delighted watching on
05:22to the younger Mexican doing a brilliant job.
05:25Yeah, that was on his way to a championship podium.
05:28And Noel Leon, I'm sure, on his way to challenging for the same.
05:31He's becoming a bit of a dark horse in this title race, isn't he?
05:35Well, there you can see the cars just making their way round on the formation lap.
05:40Beautiful views around this circuit.
05:43Martinius Stenschaun got a well-overdue podium yesterday.
05:48Let's see what he can do from third place.
05:50Nicholas Solov ahead and Lorenz van Hoopen, as we said, took his first Aramco F2 pole position.
05:56Let's hear what he had to say after qualifying on Friday.
06:01I'm super happy.
06:03I mean, it was a very tricky session with all the red flags.
06:05And then to be on pole is very nice.
06:08Also, you know, first time on this track, new track for everyone.
06:11You know, it made it more difficult.
06:13But yeah, it makes it also more rewarding.
06:16Actually, after like T4, I saw on my dash, I was like minus something.
06:20And I was like, oh, going quite well.
06:23And then I just send it and it went well after that.
06:25Actually, we're like up there the whole session until the penultimate lap
06:30where I didn't improve because I had some traffic and I couldn't improve.
06:34I was like, oh, no, if this is it, it's not good.
06:40Lorenz van Hoopen there, the first Aramco pole position for him.
06:45Let's have a look then at what the tyres we've got on.
06:48This is a race we have not done in Canada in Formula 2.
06:53So strategy-wise, it's going to be a bit of a call,
06:55especially with that 90% chance of rain.
06:57So the track has not been declared wet,
06:59which means they can't run wet, they'd be the wrong tyre anyway.
07:02But it is green, which means most of the field
07:05are running the straightforward, softest tyre first.
07:08That's the purple-walled, super-soft tyre from the start of this one.
07:13Your exceptions are Maini, Belinsky and Boyer,
07:17who are on the harder.
07:19That is the red-walled, soft tyre.
07:21And they're going to start on that one.
07:23So most of the field, apart from those three drivers,
07:26going for the softest tyre first.
07:28We'll see how far it can make it through the race.
07:31And it's a smart move.
07:32Is that a little bit of rain-forwarding?
07:34Or is it just the water falling off the top of the pit perch there?
07:39Yeah, I think it might be the latter,
07:40but who knows, the hands are going to be outs from the pit walls
