00:01Welcome back. We continue in Spain, where the General Union of Workers, UJT, call on the public to take to
00:08the streets in defense of the right to housing and in opposition to the legislative agenda of the right-wing

00:14Under their slogan, without decent housing there will be no social peace, the UJT accused the right-wing parties of
00:21attempting to dismantle the public safety net in order to protect solely the interests of the free market and speculators.
00:27The Union described the parliamentary debate as a smokescreen to benefit the real-state lobby and warned that the processing
00:35of the draft organic law against the illegal occupation of properties and for neighborhood coexistence presented by the Popular Party
00:41comes at a time of peak housing tension and with the population at the limit of its endurance.
