00:13keeper of a rooming house at Forsyth and Hunter Streets at about 11 o'clock Saturday night for a room,
00:19Mary Fagan, the little girl who was found murdered the following morning?
00:23And was Gant the man with her?
00:25Phillips was not positive today.
00:26He saw the young woman in the morgue at Bloomfield's undertaking establishment,
00:31and it is understood he positively identified her to city detectives and the county solicitor.
00:36She looked very much like the young woman, he said,
00:39but he would not make the positive statement to a reporter today.
00:42He went to the police station this morning to see Gant and declared the prisoner looked much like the man
00:47who applied to him for a room.
