Russia said it had transferred nuclear warheads for Iskander-M missile systems positioned in Belarus during joint exercises by the two countries’ nuclear forces.
According to Moscow, the activities include training Belarusian military personnel in the transport, loading and preparation of launches involving tactical nuclear weapons.
Images released by the Russian Ministry of Defence show military trucks leaving storage facilities and moving through forested areas before the missiles are loaded onto mobile Iskander-M launchers.
