Content creator questioned the timing chosen to repeat a message about wildfire risk and the ban on disposable barbecues

Hannah Brooks used her Instagram profile to share her frustration after receiving an alert message on Saturday morning related to the drought and wildfire risk in the United Kingdom.

In the video posted on the @hannah_brooks_world account, Hannah made it clear that she did not disagree with the preventive measures. According to her, after weeks with virtually no rain and with the ground extremely dry, it is understandable that authorities would reinforce precautions to prevent fires.

What prompted the content creator’s reaction was the time at which a second message was reportedly sent to mobile phones. Hannah said she had already received a warning the previous evening about the ban on disposable barbecues, but the same guidance appeared again at around 6:14 a.m. on Saturday.

“Do they not realise that there are a lot of people who work very hard during the week and probably don’t want to be woken up on their day off at 6:14 a.m.?”, she questioned during the recording.
