00:00Tonight it will be game three of the Western Conference Finals. The series is tied up at one
00:04with the Spurs taking the first game and the Thunder taking the second game. And we got
00:10Carlin Gay back with us to break it all down. As you can see here, the Spurs are a point
00:15and a half
00:15favorite, which is down from the two that they were when this line opened up. And that really
00:20is the big question, Carlin. The Spurs dominated the Thunder in the regular season and now could
00:27be the very last time and a rare time that if you want to take OKC, you get points, which
00:35is like,
00:35I mean, unheard of in this day and age of the NBA. Carlin, I was referring earlier in the week
00:40when the Thunder went without Shea Gilgis Alexander, they were still four or five point
00:44favorites over every team. But here we are tonight with a chance if you think that they're the dog,
00:49but on the flip side, Spurs have had their number. Which way do you go tonight? Toughest game for me
00:53call of the week right here. It is a tough game. And it's very unfortunate this series, I think,
00:59is going to come down to who just has the healthier bodies. Like we saw Jalen Williams go out
01:04out of game two and not come back into that one. Obviously, the Thunder still went on to win it.
01:09But
01:09that is a big, big, big missing piece. They were able to make it out of the first two rounds
01:13unscathed, really, you know, without Jalen Williams. And in most of those games,
01:19those are lesser teams. So this is the San Antonio Spurs. And this, the series has a feel
01:23as the final series would have, right? Like these two teams really are here. And you can see why,
01:30if they're standing at the podium at the end of the NBA season, why these two teams are good enough
01:34to win the NBA title. And how deep the Thunder is, it has been a big reason of that, right?
01:39Like
01:40they went out and got that Jared McCain trade, which I think is one of the most underrated trades
01:43of the NBA season. We see what Alex Caruso can do, like how versatile he is. He carted
01:48Wembenyama, maybe unsuccessfully in that first game, but it at least gave him a different look
01:52that they can kind of go to. And he's maybe 6'3 on his best day against 7'5". Not
01:57much there for him,
01:58but he tried to make it difficult. And then also he gave me some offense coming off the bench,
02:02which is pretty interesting. And then you go down the list, right? Kaysom Wallace and all these other
02:06guys, you know, that there's some teams in the NBA that some of these guys would be starting for,
02:11and they're coming off the bench behind, you know, Shea Gilzis-Alexander. So the Thunder are
02:15definitely flexing their muscles from a depth perspective. And I think right now I would have
02:19to give him the edge in this series because of that, but that's only if we get a full seven
02:25game
02:25series out of Jalen Williams. Like he cannot miss any games and, you know, that's going to really
02:30hurt them if he's not in the lineup. So going back home, you know, even though De'Aaron Fox is
02:35also
02:35missing time for the Spurs, you know, going back home, I think the Spurs kind of taking this game three
02:40here and putting some pressure on the Oklahoma City Thunder in game four, you know, Victor
02:46Wambinyama, he's a special talent. This is his coming out party. I think going forward, he is
02:52going to be the taste of the NBA, right? Like he's going to be the guy that's on national TV
02:5740 times
02:57a year. He's going to be the guy that's playing on Christmas day for the NBA and any marquee date
03:02on
03:02the calendar, you will see him there. He'll be the guy leading the all-star voting. Victor Wambinyama
03:07is very, very special. This series is going to tell us that even if the Spurs team loses,
03:12but I do have the Thunder winning this series, maybe not game three though.
03:17Wow. Could be, if that's the case, we could be in for a seven gamer, which would be awesome
03:20because I think these two teams are fantastic. And as you can see right now, OKC is down to minus
03:26162 to win the Western Conference Finals, which is as low as it's ever been. And the odds also to
03:31win
03:31the NBA title are as tight as they've ever been. They're only minus 110. They were much bigger favorites
03:36about a week ago.
