00:00Double OT last night in OKC.
00:03The San Antonio Spurs with a 1-0 lead via a double overtime, 122-115 final.
00:11Joe, before I get some stuff from you here,
00:13let's take a look at what the coaches were saying last night after the game.
00:16It was a competitive game.
00:19It felt like both teams just kept doing enough to not be put away
00:26and kept doing enough to let the other team know they were trying to pull away.
00:36It got to a point probably sometime at the end of that fourth quarter,
00:39it just felt like it was a war of wills.
00:43And there was a level of mental toughness that was exuded by both teams.
00:53It was almost sometimes like in football they say it's just at some point the time runs out.
00:58It felt like everybody kept scoring.
00:59But the bench was great for us.
01:03We needed every second from everybody that played.
01:05And then those five guys, I think, I don't know what it is, one of you probably do,
01:08but they played maybe the last 15 or so odd game time minutes.
01:14And their legs got wobbly, but they composed themselves and finished strong.
01:19And that was a heck of a game to be a part of.
01:21Offensively, it took us a little while to get a little bit of a rhythm in the game.
01:25In terms of balance, to your point, I thought our threes were good in the first half.
01:29We didn't shoot it great.
01:31I actually thought we had higher quality threes in the first half than we did the rest of the game.
01:34But the balance of attacks wasn't great.
01:38You know, who knows what that is.
01:39It's the first time playing them in four months.
01:41They're obviously a unique opponent.
01:43We just had a while off.
01:45I thought we caught a little bit more of a groove to start the second half.
01:48We were lucky to be down seven at halftime.
01:50But, yeah, I mean, 100%.
01:53There's a lot we can improve on.
01:55Joe, tough place to play.
01:57Spurs go on the road.
01:58Young, talented team take the 1-0 series lead.
02:00And now they, Joe, have home court advantage.
02:03Yeah, they stole it there.
02:05But the reality was they were the better team from the opening tip in that game.
02:11But, Donnie and Wemby and a few others had a chance.
02:14The final three minutes of that game in regulation was out of control.
02:18Both teams had opportunities to close it out in regulation.
02:22Certainly, Wemby did.
02:24But he more than made up for it in overtime.
02:28So, what a great – again, this is going to be better than any finals we're going to get, Donnie.
02:34So, we should appreciate every game of this series and hope it goes seven.
02:39Wemby went for 41-24-3.
02:42Let's get a quick clip from him after the game.
02:46If that was in your mind at all, knowing that Shea had got that award and you were in the
02:50top three for it,
02:51and, you know, did any part of tonight feel personal?
02:54Did some of your facial expressions kind of look like you were really, really going for it?
02:58Yeah, for sure.
02:59Everything you just said.
03:02Motivation!
03:03You don't need much of it here this late in the playoffs.
03:05Looks like Wemby motivated by some slights, he peers.
03:09Well, and the reality is SGA has burned every other team this year, Donnie,
03:15except, you know what?
03:17San Antonio.
03:18He can't beat San Antonio.
03:20There you go.
