01:26Pereira is much more a better technical striker than in gone who is and gone who's just a big power

01:33So that kind of makes the matchup interesting, but you know, you go back to the the gone fight
01:38With Tom Aspinall and you know gone was doing his thing, you know, everybody counted him out in that fight
01:43And gone was doing his thing. It was it was a very even first round a lot of people thought
01:48and uh
01:49I thought gone was winning round
01:51Yeah, and you know, he landed some good shots. He had he had aspen all bleeding. I think he I
01:55think he busted his nose up a little bit
01:57Um, nothing crazy, you know, it was it was pretty close. Obviously, it would have been great to see that

02:03But um, yeah, I mean this that's a really intriguing matchup and I think gone is live in the spot
02:09He's you know, he's he's big he's fast
02:11He's one of the the quicker heavyweights that we've seen with power
02:15Um, and he does have a bit of a grappling game. I don't expect him to try to grapple in
02:20this matchup
02:21Um, but I do think I think it's a really close fight and if you're on the gone side, I
02:26you know, I
02:27I don't think it's the worst thing in the world
02:30To put it in context guys just to refresh your memory
02:34Francis began who started to panic as the fight went on with zero god and had to take him down
02:40So like the the the dude with the you know, the strongest punching power in the world was like this

02:46Like any you know, I mean like he landed a couple of shots and cereal is extremely difficult to like

02:53I saw a great interview, uh tom with tom aspinall actually earlier in the week
02:59Um, he was on a podcast talking about this fight and what he thinks and he basically said listen
03:04I fought cereal and you saw what happened
03:06Obviously with the eye pokes that he talked about like yeah, like it was a load like he he basically
03:13said like
03:13it was a load to deal with and
03:16You're not used to it. Basically. He said it threw him off at first
03:21um
03:22And he picked he picked gone to be Pereira
03:25And yet, you know, he basically said, you know, I would probably make more money fighting Pereira
03:30You know, I'm like whatever like he was kind of being he was very I like hospital
03:34He's very honest actually like like anything when he does interviews on these podcasts
03:39And he said, I'm not later both great and he was talking about which is a bigger fight for him
03:43etc
03:44But I thought he raised a great point when he basically said that
03:48He doesn't think Pereira's like big power is gonna hurt gone as much as other people do
03:55He's like, you know, he's not gonna help like 180 fibers and light heavyweights. This is different
04:00Cereal God has taken shots from like big dudes before
04:04Yeah, you know, the big key is to and Aspinall brought it up
04:08Was that he said one thing that we you know, he talked about in his camp and stuff
04:13He said cereal gone is very big and he's very easy to kick essentially
04:18Said like he doesn't defend the leg kick very well
04:20Like he's kind of he eats it and whatever and just sort of figures I'll get through it
04:24But you know, Tom Alex Pereira has got vicious leg kicks
04:27So that could be a big key to this
04:29But if you and I are talking about this and Aspinall's talking about this on podcast cereal gone's camp is
04:35talking about this, too

04:38Yeah, and you know that is one factor that you know those leg kicks are nasty
04:42He's he's hurt a lot of guys with those kicks
04:44Uh, you know, he can he can bring the kick up to the head. He can bring the kick to
04:48the body as well
04:49Um, so yeah, I mean it to me it's gonna be a really it's gonna be a really, you know
04:54technical fight
04:55Probably not a lot of action early on. I don't think either guy's gonna go crazy
05:00So it'll be interesting to see if the leg kicks get going if he gets them to the calf
05:04You know that that'll that'll hurt more than if they're you know to the thigh
05:08That could break him down a little bit, uh, it'll just be interesting to see if perera speed is if
05:14he's going to be faster
05:15Um, because like like we said gone's very fast
05:18So if perera is able to be faster and be able to move a little bit quicker, you know, that'll
05:23be huge but
05:25With all that said, I mean when I look at this fight, I I could see it going either way
05:29And there's a lot of unknown, you know prayer is put on you know, he's always been a big guy
05:34He cut a lot of weight to get down to 85, but you know, his walk around weight was never
05:38what it is right now
05:40So he's put on a lot of weight in the recent years
05:42Yeah, last couple years and um, you know, he's filling out nicely. So we'll see
