00:00The Iranian team is very tough, very experienced.
00:03They have worked together a lot, wished to have the supreme leader,
00:09had these people around him.
00:12They are in a very tricky position because while they seem to have a lot of armaments,
00:19a lot more than was expected to survive the initial attack of Israel and America,
00:26the fragility is in the economy and the people.
00:29And do they really want to go on for another round of war,
00:33which could be a month, could be six weeks, and that would be very difficult indeed.
00:39Equally, the Americans do not have strong cards because they threaten another round of violence
00:49if this set of negotiations and proposals doesn't work.
00:56But will it get any further forward than they did last time?
00:59I've just been writing a piece from elsewhere and recording the fact that the four major war aims
01:05that Trump laid out for Epic Fury, you know, it's a partial failure or a partial success.
01:14Not one of them has succeeded, that they decapitated the regime.
01:18But they've got the same all over again in the regime's son, who's even tougher.
01:23They haven't got an insurgency.
01:25They haven't written down the strategic force of missiles and drones.
01:32And they haven't found the potentially weaponised 440 kilograms of refined uranium.
01:39And so I think that what both sides are looking at, as you say, the Iranian delegation,
01:46probably working through Pakistan a bit through the UAE,
01:51they're both looking at an impasse and it's looking at an ugly situation
01:56because I think neither really wants more war.
