00:00It's beautiful to hear President Trump living in his own reality. It's always happy and nice things happening to the
00:08U.S. specifically, but to the world in general due to his great achievements.
00:13But put that aside and let's look at what's happening in these negotiations. I think we have to take a
00:19step back and actually go back to the Memorandum of Understanding.
00:22In the Memorandum of Understanding, we saw two different, let's say, two different deals. One that is immediate implementation of
00:32three major things, cessation of hostilities, of stopping the war practically, opening Hormuz, and an Iranian commitment never to have
00:42a nuclear weapon.
00:43That was the immediate part. And then there's a long list of things to be done. But all these things
00:50to be done and all these promises towards Iran are linked to the final agreement that is to be reached
00:59after 60 days of negotiation.
01:00In Switzerland, we then created five different tracks to discuss all the different files that will hopefully lead to the
01:07final deal.
01:08Obviously, because of the vagueness of the MOU and because of the very important fact that the U.S. actually
01:15got almost everything at once from the three major points that we just mentioned, is not in a hurry to
01:22reach a final agreement anymore.
01:24And the start of all five paths of the different negotiations have been problematic, have been extremely slow.
01:33There have been misunderstandings, there have been different interpretations of what every word means, and each party is asking the
01:41other to start showing steps towards trust building or towards the start of implementation.
01:48And then the negotiations will lead to results. As it is now, I see a lot of complications, a lot
01:53of vagueness, unwillingness to both teams to give in on major issues, but also unwillingness to go back to the
02:00war.
02:01So we might be stuck in a kind of a status quo where negotiations will never reach to a final
02:06agreement, but where returning to the war is very unlikely.
