00:31Jamal had linked Khairi to corrupt practices and alleged that the former UMNO Youth Chief
00:36had paid party delegates to cause the disruption.
00:40Jamal admitted that the statements he made against Khairi were false and baseless.
00:45He said the statements carried the meaning that Khairi lacks integrity and credibility as a leader
00:51and that he was involved in corruption, which is entirely untrue.
00:55Jamal expressed regret for his actions, saying they had damaged Khairi's reputation and credibility.
01:03He also offered Khairi an unconditional apology for the inconvenience and distress caused
01:08and undertook not to repeat the statements in the future.
01:12Jamal also agreed to remove the statements from his social media accounts.
01:17The settlement terms including costs were not disclosed.
