00:00As I say, I think that our cheap power plan is the right way to go.
00:03That could get bills down by about 20% very quickly,
00:07and that's by stripping out the carbon taxes and the green subsidies
00:10that are within everybody's electricity bill, and that would help businesses as well.
00:14The second thing is we should be exploiting and benefiting from our oil and gas in the North Sea.
00:21We shouldn't be taxing it out of existence or not providing new licenses,
00:25and there's an absurdity here that at the moment the government is loosening
00:29the sanctions regime on Russian oil at the same time as failing to exploit the resources we have here.
