00:00It's now time to check in with Rochelle for tonight's weather forecast.
00:04Thank you, Vash. Good evening, Trinidad and Tobago. It's now time for your weather.
00:09Let's talk about today. Conditions were mostly hot. However, southern and eastern areas got
00:15brief showers. Dust was present also with some breeze as well. But all in all, conditions were
00:21nice. Staying on a nice note, the Met Office says there is a 49% chance of below normal hurricane
00:28activity and a 37% chance of below normal tropical storm activity for Trinidad and Tobago's
00:35area of interest during the 2026 Atlantic hurricane season. This means there is the highest likelihood
00:43that fewer hurricanes than usual will affect or form near the country's area of interest
00:48and tropical storms may also be fewer than average. So that's some good news there. Now let's
00:55see what we're getting tonight. Tonight will give us mostly fair conditions with a light
01:00breeze and the lingering shower with minimum temperatures at 25 degrees in Trinidad and 26
01:05in Tobago. And you will be starting your day tomorrow with morning showers but it will be
01:11brief. The rest of the day will give us sunshine and breezy skies at maximum temperatures of 33 degrees
01:18in Trinidad and 32 in Tobago. But tomorrow will also be hazy with that mild to moderate concentration
01:26of Saharan dust happening here that will linger for the rest of the week. Now things will start to
01:32change a bit on Friday with partly cloudy and greasy conditions accompanied by scattered showers
01:38and the low chance of it becoming heavy favoring Trinidad. Saturday this will ease up a bit
01:45with fair and breezy conditions despite brief partly cloudy spells with isolated showers favoring
01:50southern areas of Trinidad. So you will need those umbrellas for the end of the week. Let's take a look
01:56at our sun times now in Trinidad. Sunrise is at 543 and 538 in Tobago and sunset at 622 in
02:03Trinidad
02:04and 619 in Tobago. And for our seas, seas will be moderate with waves near two meters in open waters
02:10and below one meter in sheltered areas. It's now time for your Thai times.
