06:36point of the open internet like are we losing the effect of this thing that seemingly how does it make
06:41it harder well okay so if it's doing this and it's like basically trying to draw you into an ai
06:45conversation well it's just a tab i just looked at it it's just a side tab the idea the idea

06:49it's going to draw you into more like ai conversation which is then the place where
06:53you're anticipating getting your results where you're not actually engaging with any of these
06:57like websites like what is the incentive for people that are hosting these heights to have
07:01their information or whatever that they're putting on there taken and given via ai where you're not
07:05actually getting traffic to you're not getting the clicks you're not getting the traffic to the
07:09website maybe you're not selling advertising which i imagine is necessary maybe you're not even
07:13getting subscriptions which is also necessary if you're making money in any of these places
07:16which then in theory could take you know some of these websites or whatever out of business and
07:21then at that point where's the internet well let me ask ai i'll ask them that exact question

08:15about a guy named david white who was a school principal in atlanta and he ended up retiring from
08:23um being a principal and it kind of got me thinking about us like if if i was to retire
08:30um i don't know what i would do i would probably just chill for the rest of my life i

09:05free and here's a little bit of the story from cbs news going into retirement 58 year old david white
09:13had some preconceived notions i thought it would be blissful and easy and joyful it's not uh it wasn't
09:22quite last september david retired after 33 years in education the last 15 spent as an elementary
09:30school principal a career so illustrious david was once awarded principal of the year for the entire
09:37atlanta school district he says he left mostly to be free of the demands but well i was just hanging
09:45out with the cat and it was a little lonely honestly it was a little lonely about this same time
09:52david says he really started missing his old school community he knew he couldn't be principal
09:57again they'd already hired a new one but when a different position opened up he fired off his resume
10:04immediately so he wanted to get back into the school do you have any idea oh boy because it's on

10:18burgess peterson academy she interviewed david and found him more than qualified which is why this old
10:25head of school now cleans the head his job title is site manager but he's basically a handyman does
10:34everything from power washing bathrooms to inspecting fire extinguishers to cleaning gutters
10:42and although he's no longer climbing the ladder metaphorically no longer perched on that top
10:48rung metaphorically he doesn't seem to mind in the least i love this that's a guy that just loved
10:56being around schools and kids and and education and all that i wonder how i wonder i'm really curious
11:03how how a kid would feel if they see this guy that was the principal and now this guy is
11:08cleaning the
11:08the urinals while you're using the bathroom now i feel like this i've never seen anything because
11:15this is an elementary school right yeah so i think that it's the school that matters here like i feel
11:19like there are folks that might be if we get a little bit older right if we get to high
11:24school
11:24there might be some kids that are a little snooty sure sure but also if he's the type of administrator
11:29that it seems like he might have been those are the types of folks that like you know kids gravitate
11:34too no matter what the position is what what capacity like you will always mean something to
11:38them because you're someone that is care for them i think elementary school kids in particular like
11:42they don't man i've been falling down the rabbit hole of like these videos of people asking children
11:48what their parents do and then asking the parent what they do and it's always some like my mommy works
11:53on a computer and they're like yeah i'm the head of finance city you know i mean like it's always
11:57something like that they don't really know what your job is for real whatever you oh that's mr who so
12:01and so i love him right that's all that really comes i disagree with that i remember being in
12:05elementary school you knew who the principal was you know you knew who everybody was because i used
12:10to get in trouble by the principal so a lot of kids knew who the principal was you knew who
12:15was coming
12:16in after them and all that a lot of times the kids actually like the cafeteria workers and the
12:22janitors more because they interact with them yeah i agree you know i agree unless you got the mean
12:27ones we had the mean ones there's always the mean ones yeah but it's the mean one coming back to

14:27of time that i think a lot of us can understand that nowadays kids don't have except for this one
14:31girl who can call in her parent her dad on the radio station man i feel very mixed on this
