00:00Thousands of regional Aussies are set to lose access to Channel 10,
00:04after Wynn Network confirmed it will stop broadcasting the network across several rural
00:09markets. From July 1st, 2026, viewers in the Riverland and Mount Gambier regions of South
00:16Australia, along with Griffith in New South Wales, will lose access to Channel 10, 10 Drama,
00:2310 Comedy and Nickelodeon via traditional transmission. Wynn said ongoing financial
00:30pressures and declining advertising revenue had made it unsustainable to continue carrying
00:35Network 10 services in the smaller regional markets. The move is expected to reignite
00:41concerns about the growing divide between metro and regional viewers, particularly for elderly
00:47Australians and rural communities with limited internet access who still rely heavily on
00:53free-to-air television. Network 10 criticised the decision, calling it a real and unfair
00:59disruption for regional audiences, while encouraging affected viewers to switch to
01:05streaming through its online-only 10 app and platform.
