09:27big players who are athletes that can cover space and transition and defensively yeah and
09:32and that's something that you see i think our buddy isaac harris who joined us last week from
09:36locked on mavs he will he pointed this out last night where just just the guards that were on the
09:42floor last night for okc and for for the spurs they were all 6-5 or 6-6 yeah like
09:48so having bigger
09:49guards is clearly something that is is trendy right now with the best teams in basketball
09:56kairi is certainly a little bit undersized and i don't know how much that is factoring in but in
10:00terms of who they want to perhaps draft at the point guard spot in this year's draft you'd probably
10:06be wanting to look at a guy who is at least 6-4 if not 6-5 yeah 6-6
10:12bigger guards four years over 40
10:14million left on that deal what could kairi get you in in in trade like if you're going to seriously
10:19consider doing that and if jason kids uh i don't know if it's a firing or a mutual parting of

10:25has that put us in a position where kairi might not be back what could the plan be
10:30i would think you if you're trying to move kairi irving right now you're obviously calling
10:35washington but they're not going to give you number one for him because of the opportunity to
10:39take a generational talent and that's probably true in each of the first three picks and the
10:44bulls at four are rebuilding so they don't want a veteran but at five you have the clippers with
10:48kawaii leonard would the clippers give you pick five for kairi irving and 10 i did you see that
10:54lebron they're the favorite to land lebron right now the clippers are yeah so i mean are they
10:59looking at i mean we know about lebron and kairi teasing playing yeah they might they might say
11:03we'll give you five and because if they're doing that they're in a win now they're trying to get
11:07we're just going veteran and we're trying to win trying to nuke a championship five's a great pick
11:11but it's not like oh my gosh we feel like we might have just moved off of the next great

11:17there's a chance that the fifth pick is the next great but it is probably the the best
11:23prospect you could imagine with a fifth overall pick and pretty much any draft yeah in terms of
11:29number five overall picks in the nba draft this is probably going to be the most impressive prospect
11:35that we've seen in a long time i would be interested in doing that from a mav standpoint if
11:39you're telling me i could get pick five in this year's draft and move on from kairi then i'd be
11:44i'd be
11:44down for it but in terms of the the kid replacement i love what you guys said about sean sweeney
11:49because
11:49he does match the defensive prototype like nick nurse was and and getting to strip a little bit
11:55from the the spurs who seem like they're about to be destined for a beautiful run here taking
12:01something away from that a little bit and having somebody with direct knowledge on the just the
12:06overall scouting report of the spurs i mean that and it's familiar with your current roster i mean he
12:11was with the mavericks for how long four years yeah and and i don't think he was one of the

12:47could be looking at kingston flemings he might be a little small a cup could be back in consideration
