00:00Cavs win by 31. They're showing the fans get off the buses this morning as they came back.
00:06Owen said he passed the buses this morning.
00:08Yeah, like four or five different buses.
00:11Isn't it amazing? So what, Dan, basically it's all expenses paid to have just a fun night in the city.
00:18Now, we caught wind that some people were upset with themselves that they didn't take advantage of.
00:25You had a chance to sign up. Certain people did. It was a lot of partners.
00:29It was a lot of season ticket holders and a lot of employees, right, that could take advantage of this.
00:36So I told you, I talked to so many people in Cleveland over the weekend that just thought it was
00:42over,
00:42just thought it was done, they weren't going to win.
00:45I'd be lying if I told you I was puffing my chest out about that.
00:50Would you have taken the bus ride?
00:53To enemy territory.
00:55Oh, for game seven?
00:56All expenses paid, but that's one of the worst bus rides home.
01:00I mean, you really have to believe.
01:01You know me.
01:02You really have to believe to sign up for that.
01:06I don't know. It is a game seven.
01:08Like, I went to a closeout game against the Yankees.
01:10That sucked leaving there.
01:11But it was still like, oh, you got to go. It's an ALCS.
01:14If you get offered, you got to go.
01:15It was at home.
01:17Yeah.
01:18It was also not a game seven.
01:20True.
01:21I mean, I just think atmosphere-wise, if you have the opportunity, it's probably something you want to do.
01:27Well, it turned into the best trip ever because the Detroit fans evacuated in the fourth quarter.
01:34Yeah.
01:34It was a total takeover.
01:35So the people that did sign up are like, documenting it.
01:39It's social media.
01:40Should have gone.
01:40Should have gone.
01:41But you know if that would have gone the other way, that would have been misery.
01:44The cameras would have been showing all those Cavs fans.
01:47And where would you have gone?
01:48Oh, gosh. That's right.
01:48Where would you have gone?
01:49It did end up being – it could not end up better because you win and you won by 31.
01:54So, like, a lot of – as you just said, if you go back and if you still were watching
01:59last night,
02:00if you're watching in the fourth quarter, basically it just became a Cavs game
02:05because everybody had left who weren't a Cavs fan.
02:07And so the Cavs are hitting shots and people are getting excited.
02:11And if you're watching, you go, what the hell is going on?
02:13Because there's a bunch of Cavs fans there.
02:15There's 25 buses.
02:16Which, one, it's probably one of the finest moves I've ever seen an owner do.
02:20It was fantastic.
02:22Two, I did get a firsthand account of Game 5.
02:25I talked to somebody yesterday who went to Game 5.
02:28And, I mean, he was over the moon about it.
02:30And he's not an employee.
02:32I don't know if he's a season ticket holder, but I know he's not an employee.
02:34And he was over the moon about it, about how first class it was.
02:40You got the ticket.
02:41You got to go up there.
02:42Apparently, there's a place, like, very close that Dan Gilbert owns, like, a building.
02:47Obviously, he owns a lot of buildings in Cleveland and in downtown Detroit.
02:50Yeah, they were doing pep rallies before.
02:51I can't imagine what that was like after.
02:53And he said, basically, you walked in the room and it was anything you wanted to have.
02:57And it was before and after the game.
02:58And so they came back.
02:59I mean, they came back this morning at 4 a.m. for crying out loud.
03:02So a lot of people were having a good time last night.
03:04And rightfully so.
03:06Ends up being the greatest time ever for a Cavs fan.
03:09But the alternative is, you don't know they're going to win by 31 on the bus right up there.
03:14But I still think it's something to behold.
03:17You know me.
03:18I know I wouldn't do it.
03:19I know me.
03:20I know I'd be terrified of the drive back, the sinking feeling back, being there with a bunch of Detroit
03:27fans, losing their minds.
03:28I know me.
03:29You know me.
03:30I don't think I'd do it.
03:31Would you do it?
03:33I'd be nervous.
03:35I think I would.
03:35But it still has a hell of an experience.
03:37Me being the hoops junkie, I think you can't pass up.
03:40I couldn't pass up game seven.
03:41I got to go.
03:42But, man, would that be miserable if they lost?
03:44The good thing is they won.
03:45Now, I don't think Dan's going to be doing this for MSG.
03:48Have you seen the get-in price?
03:50Is it $600 still or has it gone up?
03:52It dropped a little bit right now.
03:53Oh, really?
03:54Okay.
03:54And we don't have prices yet for the Cavs because they haven't officially listed them or whatever.
04:02We do know this and we have heard from multiple people.
04:06The Cavs are doing everything they can legally to box out New York Knick fans for, would it be Saturday
04:14night?
04:15Yes.
04:15They are doing everything they can.
04:17Saturday and Monday.
04:18Thursday, Saturday, Monday.
04:20So, you know, there's only so much you can do, right?
04:23And if a season ticket holder really wants to sell their tickets to Spike Lee directly, but online, the Cavs
04:30are doing everything they can.
04:31They do not want what happened in Philadelphia to happen to Cleveland, Ohio.
04:36Okay.
04:37There's a couple things where if you just have a bunch of guys, like I don't want this to turn.
04:42Okay.
04:43So, going back to the 2016 World Series, there are a bunch of people who go, whoa, wait a bleep
04:47a minute.
04:47You're a Cubs fan?
04:48Since when?
04:49Since when was this guy a Cubs fan?
04:51Since when was that guy a Cubs fan?
04:52I swear to God.
04:53There was a lot of people who I just never knew they were Cubs fans coming in and now they
04:58were.
04:58I know Spike Lee's a Knicks fan.
05:00If Spike Lee is willing to give you so much over market price, fine.
05:04I'm serious.
05:05Go ahead and sell it to Spike Lee.
05:07But you don't want 10,000 Knicks fans doing bing bong in your lower bowl.
05:12I don't even know if they do bing bong anymore.
05:14But I don't want 10,000 Knicks fans doing that stuff in your lower bowl.
05:17That's what I – Spike Lee, Spike Lee, he kind of goes along with the game in certain ways.
05:24But when it comes to everybody else, it's like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
05:27No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
05:29Keep them out of there.
05:31Like, is Jerry Farrar coming on yet?
05:32Do we know?
05:34We exchanged a nice series.
05:37So that's a no.
05:38So don't sell your tickets to Jerry Farrar then?
05:40No, no, no, no.
05:40We exchanged a nice series of texts.
05:42Yeah, that's simple.
05:42If he comes on the show, you can sell.
05:44Sell your tickets, yeah.
05:45But that sounds like he's deciding he doesn't want to come on.
05:48Is that it?
05:48Turtle doesn't want to come on?
05:49He's feeling pretty good about the Knicks.
05:51You can't tell them anything right now.
05:52They are very cocky.
05:53Well, he can come on and be cocky all he wants.
05:56But if he doesn't come on, then don't sell him the tickets.
05:58Don't sell Turtle your tickets.
06:00Fine.
06:01Don't sell Turtle your tickets.
06:02That's an official show stance.
06:04Title that video, Joey.
06:05Don't sell Turtle from Entourage the tickets.
06:08Don't sell Turtle the tickets.
06:08Don't do it.
06:09And at Jerry Farrar on it while you do it.
06:11Just because.
06:14Still a good show.
06:15He was still good in that show.
06:17I'm not going to take that away from him.
06:18Our producer, who is well not in the age range of somebody who loves Turtle.
06:23His dad put him on the show.
06:25He says he's seen it like 12 times.
06:27I could quote that show by heart.
06:29It's the best.
06:30You can't quit anything on the radio, but it's the best.
06:32It's basically the equivalent of Jeff and Andy getting excited that Otis from Andy Griffith
06:37would come in here.
06:38John, were you conceived during that show?
06:41Is that possible?
06:42No.
06:43No.
06:43That show came out in 2005.
06:44Do you know the story behind your conception?
06:46I know the story behind mine.
06:47I don't.
06:47My parents are no longer together, so I never asked.
06:49Oh, I think that'd be a great story to go over if your parents weren't together.
06:52Why don't you book them on separate days?
06:56They were together at least once.
06:58We know that.
06:58Don't you have a brother or a sister?
06:59That's all takes.
07:00Yeah, I have a younger sister.
07:01Okay.
07:01They were together at least twice.
07:02Congratulations on all their success.
07:04So, speaking of success, I'm going to say this, and you're going to have to hold me to it.
07:10Because I don't know.
07:11Like, tomorrow, you will have played four games in seven days.
07:15Now you're playing five games in nine days.
07:18Like, there's a lot of basketball that you're playing, and the Knicks have just been sitting
07:20around.
07:21Now, you could tell me that maybe the Knicks are going to get rusty.
07:24I'd love to hear that.
07:25That'd be fine, because they sat around.
07:27Maybe it's a bad matchup.
07:28Who knows?
07:29Let me tell you this.
07:31You put this team together to get here.
07:34To me, I feel free this morning.
07:36To me, the season's already a success.
07:38Now, you can take...
07:39Don't take that the wrong way to think that I'm already, like, okay, we've had our fun,
07:45and now we're going to go out there and get drilled.
07:46No.
07:47That's not what I'm pointing out.
07:48And Joey, don't do it like that, because I know Joey will want to do it like that,
07:51or somebody else will want Joey to do it like that.
07:53That's not it.
07:54But what this all was about was getting what the moves were.
07:58If I'm just looking at the moves, all right?
08:00You want to go as far as you can.
08:01Cavs fans want to go as far as you possibly can.
08:03Now we've got to ask the question.
08:03But I think the season is now officially a success.
08:08You're one of the four best teams in all the NBA.
08:11You have one of the smallest teams in all the NBA with your backcourt there.
08:14Your number one is Donovan Mitchell.
08:16I'm sorry.
08:18This is a successful...
08:19I'm not sorry.
08:20This is a successful season.
08:22How is this not successful?
08:24I will stop short.
08:25I'm loving that they moved on.
08:28I didn't love the fact it took 14 games,
08:30and you're relying as much as you are on a 36-year-old.
08:35With that said, I am so pumped for this series.
08:38I am so ecstatic we're in the Eastern Conference Finals.
08:41I also know that if they lose in four or five games,
08:43it's not going to feel like a success at all.
08:45And we are going to have big questions.
08:47I thought about it last night, and I thought about it this morning,
08:50and I said I'm going to say it in the 7 o'clock segment
08:53because I wanted to make sure I meant it when I said it,
08:55and I gave myself as many chances as I could to back out.
08:59Who's the number one on the Knicks?
09:01Is it Jalen Brunson?
09:02Oh, yeah.
09:02Okay.
09:03Shea Gilchis-Alexander, now a two-time MVP after the weekend,
09:06and Victor Wemanyama, right?
09:08That's three guys.
09:09Your guy is Donovan Mitchell.
09:10That's four of the best players in the NBA.
09:11You're establishing.
09:12You're one of the four best teams in the NBA.
09:14I'm sorry.
09:14This is a successful season.
09:16I would love it to end up in an NBA championship.
09:19Obviously, that would be the most successful of seasons,
09:22but you cannot tell me it's not a successful season.
09:24They started out 17 and 16.
09:26People were wanting the coach fired.
09:27People were wanting people traded.
09:28People were wondering about Donovan.
09:30You went out.
09:31You made a bold move for James Harden.
09:34Anytime you make a move like that, ask anybody.
09:36It takes time to gel.
09:38You got to the Eastern Conference Finals.
09:40Now we can kind of calm down and see where it goes,
09:42and if they win this, obviously, you better say it's a successful season
09:46because I think that this has been a success now.
09:48You're one of the four best teams in all the NBA, all right?
09:52You're one of the four best teams.
09:53I know you're one of the most expensive teams.
09:54Just because we see it in baseball, just because you spend all the money
09:58doesn't mean you can just buy a championship.
10:01Somebody's going to stand ahead of you or somebody's going to stand in front of you.
10:04So I think that you have to be honest with each other, not taking the emotion out of it,
10:09seeing what they did.
10:10It's a successful season.
10:11And everybody should remain calm about what happens.
10:15And I know that's saying that I'm not worried about tomorrow night.
10:20I would just not pick them to win tomorrow night because one team's been sitting around
10:24waiting on them and practicing and getting their rest,
10:27and the Cavaliers have been in a dogfight of a series against the Detroit Pistons.
10:31I think they'll probably use tomorrow.
10:32I want them to win, but I think they'll probably use a lot of tomorrow
10:34to learn about the New York Knicks.
10:36Frankly, that's how I stand on it.
10:38And if you think that's me pussyfooting around the situation, I got to tell you guys,
10:42that's just me being brutally honest about all this stuff.
10:44They're a fantastic team.
10:46They're in the Final Four, what you would call the Final Four of the NBA.
10:49One of the four best teams.
10:50Tomorrow might not go our way.
10:52I'll focus on that tomorrow.
10:53I still look at this season as a successful season now
10:57because of what they just accomplished last night.
11:00The 30-year-old Sam Merrill on playing basketball every other day.
11:05Sam Merrill scored 23 points in 25 minutes last night.
11:08He was fantastic.
11:09He opened everything up, honestly.
11:10Him hitting those shots opened everything up, gave him that spacing,
11:13and then it's no surprise.
11:15It's the one thing I totally agreed with Stan Van yesterday.
11:18That opened up the big men being able to get to the basket with ease.
11:23Did you like that shot he took from us, sir, Thompson?
11:25I like how he responded to it, honestly.
11:28That looked like Steve Atwater and Christian Akoye.
11:30I was like, I don't know if I've ever seen anything like that in the NBA.
11:33You'd be surprised to know, I guess, J.B. Bickerstaff complained about that call.
11:39Oh, really?
11:39Yeah, he went and talked to the official about it.
11:42He said he wasn't set.
11:43The mild-mannered J.B. Bickerstaff, who normally he doesn't fashion himself
11:47as somebody who whines about calls, so that was a surprise to see him object to that one.
11:52So I'm saying that this season has already been a success, and let me tell you why.
11:56It's not an emotional thing.
11:57Let me ask you, and I hate to do this.
11:59I want to be positive about everything.
12:02What happened last night was outstanding.
12:04It was a celebration, basically, of a fourth quarter with 25 buses of people,
12:09people at home watching the game.
12:11I mean, it was fantastic.
12:13A lot of people might just turn it off and went to bed
12:15because they just knew that this was going to go our way, and that was it.
12:17They ended up winning the game by 31.
12:19The reason I think it's a success,
12:24if this series doesn't go your way, what are you going to say, Anthony?
12:29What are you going to say to people who say to blow the whole thing up
12:32if this series doesn't go our way?
12:36I have to see how this looks.
12:38I mean, seriously.
12:38I understand.
12:39It does matter because you're objectively measuring where you are against teams
12:44that you thought you were on the same playing field as,
12:48and the Knicks were one of those teams at the start of the year.
12:50They had just fired their coach, right?
12:52So they had made their sweeping move.
12:53We fired our coach a few years ago.
12:56Both teams have kind of maxed out their assets to this point.
13:00Both teams have gone all in.
13:02So now it's time to see, like, where are you?
13:05Like, I don't come into this series thinking, like, the Cavs have no shot.
13:10I know right now because they struggled in the two series
13:13and the Knicks are riding high,
13:15I think everybody is prisoner of the moment on that.
13:18Like, I think we match up in certain areas.
13:20I think we match up well against the Knicks.
13:22And I think the Cavs have shown through two grueling series
13:25that they have matched the physicality of two teams
13:29that everybody thought were more, including me, were more physical than us.
13:32And the Knicks, it's like, here's the next installment.
13:36I do think, like, Jalen Brunson is going to be targeted
13:39in 100 screener rolls in every game.
13:41Like, they are going to, that is going to be a huge source
13:44of where the Cavs are going to try to find their offense.
13:47Carl Anthony Towns, step right up.
13:49How are you going to defend the pick and roll?
13:51And then that battle in the paint.
13:55Guys, do you think that Evan Mobley and Jared Allen
13:58have passed some tests here in the postseason
14:00when it comes to the physicality?
14:01I think they have.
14:02I think they have as well.
14:03I think they have.
14:04We haven't talked much about Evan Mobley today.
14:07I mean, Evan Mobley...
14:07Well, because Friday night was listless,
14:08and we had to react to Friday night.
14:10Who knows what type of mood we'd be in.
14:12But Friday night, it's as if it didn't even exist
14:14because of what happened last night.
14:16Lost in history.
14:17Evan Mobley showed me some signs that he is getting better.
14:22He didn't make the leap.
14:24He's not Giannis.
14:25He's not Kevin Garnett.
14:27Whatever player you decided to compare him to
14:29because you got overly excited about him,
14:32that didn't happen this year.
14:33But are you not seeing him calmly step into some of these threes
14:37and then be a terror at times defensively?
14:40Well, the one he hit with the shot clock evaporating last night.
14:43I mean, just I think he's more confident as a shooter, as a scorer.
14:46What about some of these...
14:47And I know that he has some dud of nights.
14:49He had a dud of a night in this series as well.
14:51He's not a superstar.
14:52I think he's more confident than he's been.
14:53But what about some of these rim-rattling dunks that he has had
14:59where he is just going after the opposing team
15:03and throwing down like that?
15:05That's an Evan Mobley I didn't really see before.
15:07Well, that's why I'm saying it, though.
15:08So, again, if things don't go our way,
15:11what am I going to be shouting from the rooftops?
15:13Had they lost last night?
15:15I mean, I always...
15:17When it comes to, like, make or break games,
15:20it's always like, what do I do if they lose?
15:23What do I do if they win?
15:24What are the things that we already know that we're going to do if they lose?
15:27And I have it written down right here.
15:30Time to break it up.
15:32Who do you trade?
15:33Who is most at fault?
15:34Well, Atkinson, is this enough?
15:37Like, worst loss ever.
15:38Collapse.
15:39That's, like, bad things.
15:41LeBron.
15:41Time for LeBron.
15:42LeBron will always be a conversation until he's officially done.
15:45He'll be a conversation.
15:47I can't avoid that.
15:48Giannis, I think that conversation changes, though.
15:51After this win, I think that changes.
15:53Seeing the way they are, like, I think that I can get calmer heads to prevail
15:57after what happened last night where now you get to the Eastern Conference Finals.
16:00Like, hey, if they get blown up by 20 in every single game, maybe I'm going to have to walk
16:04these comments back.
16:05But they're not going to do that.
16:06And I think that it's going to be a tough series.
16:09You're not favored in the series, but I think it's going to be a tough one.
16:11But say you end up losing the series in six or seven games, what am I going to do?
16:15Come on the radio and say that the whole thing needs to be blown up?
16:17No.
16:18And I don't think that that's a measured response.
16:20So I have to look at myself now and hold myself accountable to it.
16:23Because if they would have lost last night, it's like, okay, fine.
16:26Donovan isn't Donovan.
16:27James isn't James for the little amount of time we've had him.
16:31Evan isn't going to work out this, that, and the other.
16:33And I do believe the difference in all this is getting to where they set their bar.
16:37They set their bar at the Eastern Conference Finals.
16:40They're one of the four best teams in all the NBA.
16:42And now I can, even if it doesn't go our way, I can buy a little bit of time and
16:45go,
16:46all right, give me an offseason.
16:47Let's gel this thing even more here with James Harden.
16:50There's going to be moves that need to be made.
16:52Obviously, there's going to be conversations about LeBron.
16:55But let's not lose our minds here.
16:57And that, to me, is the difference.
16:59Had they lost that game last night, I certainly believe that a lot of people are getting ready
17:04to go back to 20-win land again and to blow the whole thing up.
17:08Now you don't have to do or talk about any of that stuff.
17:11And to say anything, like, I pull back even envisioning it because of how much they won
17:16by last night and how much I want to celebrate it.
17:18But it's a quick turnaround to the Knicks series.
17:20You don't get any time to do that.
17:22It's a quick turnaround to the Knicks series.
17:24So I have to hold myself accountable and say, I'm going to tell you right now at the outset
17:27of the Knicks series coming up tomorrow, yeah, if it doesn't go our way, I don't think I'm
17:32going to be over here screaming and yelling from the rafters to tell everybody that everybody
17:36needs to go.
17:37I just, I'm not going to say what I don't believe in.
17:39I don't believe it.
17:40Yeah.
17:40Now, again, see how it plays out?
17:43I have a positive outlook on the series.
17:46If I was being honest, yeah, I'd pick the Knicks, right?
17:49Like, I do think the Knicks are a little better in some areas.
17:53But you're allowed to be a fan and you're allowed to look at that that way.
17:55But I, you know, by the time that game starts tomorrow, I'm going to be 100% all in.
18:02I'm going to be decked out.
18:03I'm going to be going nuts.
18:04And I'm going to be truly excited that my team is in the Easter Conference Finals.
18:08And I don't think there's a big gap between the Knicks.
18:11Nor did I think that at the start of the playoffs.
18:13I mean, that was one of my big cases for the Cavs making a deep run.
18:16They are now checking that off.
18:18They are making a deep run.
18:19This is what the only the third time in franchise history without LeBron.
18:23They've been to the Easter Conference Finals and only the second time in the four series
18:27era when they expanded the playoffs.
18:29So this is exciting times.
18:32And I think they got a shot.
18:33And if Donovan Mitchell does to the Knicks, what I've seen him do at MSG over the years,
18:39this is going to be a phenomenal matchup.
18:42It's going to be a phenomenal storyline.
18:43Remember, he was supposed to be a Knick.
18:45And instead, they end up with Jalen Brunson.
18:47Brunson has outplayed Donovan Mitchell twice in the playoffs.
18:52Once on the Dallas Mavericks and once on the New York Knicks.
18:55That is an awesome, awesome matchup.
18:57I can't wait.
18:58That is going to be what's going to be ESPN ABC, right?
19:00Throughout.
19:01Yeah.
19:01So Mike Breen is a Knicks announcer.
19:04A fair Knicks announcer, by the way.
19:06I'm not going to be worried about getting homered like I think we were.
19:09More on that coming up in Lima Likes earlier in the week, Game 6.
19:12But there are going to be so many awesome storylines with these two teams that I am so pumped for
19:20the series.
19:20But if it goes like four games or five games and it looks like you're not in their class, yeah,
19:26I think they still could be blowing things up.
19:27I do.
19:28I just don't, I can't see it going that way.
19:30Like, I don't know how great tomorrow is going to be.
19:32But I don't think it's going to go that way.
19:33I think that there's good matchups here.
19:35You know, Karl-Anthony Towns, this is going to be the biggest challenge to Evan Mobley.
19:39If you're not going to be the Kevin Garnett type of player, then I think that Karl-Anthony Towns, while
19:44it's been a little easier for the Knicks than we thought it was going to be.
19:47Well, I'll ask Justin Termini about this coming up at 9 o'clock.
19:50I don't think that he's had to deal with a guy like Evan Mobley.
19:53I think Evan Mobley coming out there to guard him will make a big difference for this team.
19:57What you say about Jalen Brunson is absolutely right.
19:59You know, I'm not trying to take the air out of it.
20:00I understand that I'll have to answer for it.
20:02But I look at it and go, what was, if things don't go well, what's the worst thing that could
20:09possibly happen?
20:11And you think about the accomplishment of what you just said.
20:14This is the first time they made the Eastern Conference Finals since 2018.
20:17This is the first time.
20:18How many times have they made the Eastern Conference Finals altogether without LeBron?
20:20Yeah, three.
20:21You said three times.
20:22And this is the first time since.
20:23So it's not about a LeBron conversation as much as it is there is a future.
20:27And the future is where you have an owner that's willing to make those moves.
20:30The general manager, I think there's been pressure on him, but I'll defend him over these moves.
20:34I think there's been a lot to be said and a lot to go against, even.
20:37Because people like their homegrown talent, and it felt like some of these guys that they let go of were
20:41homegrown.
20:42And some of these guys ended up having a little bit better careers than we thought that they were going
20:45to have.
20:45But what they did is something that needs to be commended where they decided that they were going to go
20:51all in and try to get us to a level that we haven't seen since before LeBron in a bygone
20:57era.
20:58And let's call it what it is, when you were in a different arena, for crying out loud, out in
21:02Richfield.
21:03So that deserves to be looked at with a lot of respect.
21:06And I don't think I just want to go away from it all if it doesn't go our way in
21:11a two-week series when they spent five years putting this thing together.
21:16Because there's really no tomorrow.
21:17If anybody decides to go away from this core right now, you're talking about a 20-win basketball team again.
21:23And with the way that it's set up now, where it's going to be set up, which is it's going
21:27to be convoluted.
21:28But with the way that the lottery is about to be set up, I can't just guarantee you the best
21:33shot at the number one pick over more.
21:35I can't do those things anymore with you.
21:37I think part of the reason you're being so protective of this, and you keep bringing up that this will
21:43be a 20-win team if this thing goes south.
21:46Just if they blow everything up.
21:47I don't think Dan is – I think it's a pivot.
21:49I don't think it's a blow-up.
21:50I don't think they're going to trade all their best players for a bunch of draft picks and start over.
21:56No, I don't think they're doing that at all.
21:58So who are they going to trade for?
21:59I think they're big game hunting if this doesn't go their way.
22:01And we'll have that conversation when the season's over.
22:04But I think they're still – Giannis is still going to be someone they talk about.
22:08Hell, they can talk about Kawhi, Kevin Durant.
22:11They might try to pry and see what's going on with Devin Booker.
22:14There are a bunch of different things that they could talk about.
22:16Who's Devin Booker play for?
22:18The Suns.
22:18I don't think they are going to strip away everything.
22:22They're going to be able to get Devin Booker away from the Suns?
22:24I've seen enemies go back.
22:26Okay.
22:27Our president was just in China.
22:29Like, I think all sorts of conversations can happen.
22:322-1-6-4-7-4-0-92.
22:34But without putting carts before horses here, I know we're talking a lot about big-picture stuff.
22:39I just – I believe that this season has already been successful for the reasons that I just played it
22:44out.
22:44And I know that this is a Jekyll and Hyde team, and they can make me look like a fool
22:47tomorrow.
22:48And I don't know how well tomorrow's going to go.
22:50So I might have to take it on the chin on Wednesday morning.
22:52But I still think that they're going to be right there in the thick of this series, and they can
22:55make things go their way against the New York Knicks.
22:57But going back to tomorrow, I think, again, it's a little bit more of a relief just because you saw
23:03them – when they won in Game 5, that was the most confident I've seen Cavs fans all year.
23:07Yes.
23:07Friday morning.
23:08100%.
23:08Without a doubt.
23:09When they won – or Thursday morning.
23:10When they won Game 5, going into – after Thursday morning, going into Friday morning, I've never seen Cavs fans
23:17more confident this year.
23:19And had we had to do a show on Saturday, maybe it would have been different.
23:23Maybe I would have been doing it under the desk.
23:24I am so glad we didn't have to do a show.
23:26But I don't have to act like that show exists because the only time I've done shows now this week
23:30has been when the Cavs have done well.
23:32So I don't got to worry about any of that stuff.
23:34And to me, yes, there is that one blip in the radar where they played like garbage back on Friday.
23:40But then they come by and they look fantastic and they squeeze out the Pistons yesterday.
23:43So there should be a lot of confidence going into this series.
23:46Not a just give them hell type of thing, but some confidence going into the series because I do think
23:51it could be a good matchup.
23:51I just don't know how to tone how tomorrow is going to go for us.
23:54But I'll leave that to tomorrow morning.
23:56That's where I'll put it.
23:57Yeah, there's seven and a half point dogs for tomorrow.
24:00So, you know, nobody's going to give you a shot.
24:02Very few people are going to pick you.
24:05I think tomorrow is going to be a weird house money game for me.
24:08And I know that sounds strange.
24:09Well, if you come away with a win on that one.
24:11If you come away with a win on that one because it puts fans in the best.
24:14I wouldn't be surprised if they go out and shoot 53s and just say, hey, if we make our threes,
24:16we have a chance to win at MSG.
24:18Well, okay.
24:20Because at first I'm like, well, you've got to have a game plan.
24:22But when you just said that, it's like, okay, I could see something like that.
24:25If you win, I think that Wednesday becomes a wild show and it feels like you got away with robbing
24:30a bank.
24:32But even if it doesn't go your way, as long as we get something to learn from, I still think
24:36that this is going to be a good series, a tough series.
24:38I think it's a series that you can win.
24:40And based on what they've done already, I think it's been a fabulous season now.
24:44Even considering there's been a lot of naysayers going on, a lot of people questioning them.
24:48And considering the history, they've had to answer that.
24:50And I think they just did last night.
