00:00US President Donald Trump said that the clock is ticking for Iran to strike a nuclear deal
00:05with Washington and secure a permanent ceasefire as he threatened to resume hostilities in his
00:10war which has upended the Middle East. In a post on True Social late on Sunday,
00:16the Republican president warned that Tehran needs to move faster, quote,
00:20there won't be anything left of them. The comments come as ceasefire talks remain at an impasse,
00:25with neither side willing to back down from its demands, and according to negotiators,
00:30the differences are still significant. The biggest divide is over Iran's nuclear program,
00:36where the Trump administration is seeking Tehran's commitment to abolish its infrastructure,
00:40but the Islamic Republic wants to maintain some of it for what it says will be for civilian use.
00:46Washington also wants Iran to surrender its stockpiles of highly enriched uranium,
00:51which is one of Trump's declared main objectives for the war. Iran has roughly 440 kilograms of
00:58uranium enriched up to 60%, a short technical step from weapons grade levels, giving Tehran the
01:04fissile means to produce between 10 and 12 nuclear bombs. Meanwhile, Pakistan says it's continuing to
01:10exhaust all avenues to reach a diplomatic resolution to the conflict between the US and Iran.
01:16On Sunday, a Pakistani delegation traveled to the Iranian capital to hold talks with
01:21parliamentary speaker Mohamed Bagher Qalibaf to explore the possibility of facilitating further
01:26talks with the United States.
