00:00And how about Darren Lyle on fire this week?
00:02Actually had a stretch, Craig.
00:03Four games, four home runs with 272 on the season,
00:07seven bombs, 25 RBAs, and an OPS of 788.
00:11Some of those young players starting to step up to the plate here
00:14for those Nats and get the job done.
00:15Dalen Lyle, he's one of them.
00:18Yeah, he's done a really good job.
00:19The Nationals have the most runs scored in baseball.
00:22I did not see that happening at the beginning of the season.
00:25So a really good offense for them as they piece their pitching together,
00:28and that's even with trading Mackenzie Gore in the offseason.
00:31But Lyle basically has just come alive.
00:34We saw at the end of the season how good he was last year.
00:37Now he's off to another nice start this year.
00:39Washington, you know, a sneaky kind of team.
00:43I don't think that they're a postseason team,
00:45but I got to say, going into next year,
00:48and this has been a team that's not been afraid
00:51to go after some pitchers and players in free agency,
00:54it wouldn't surprise me to see Washington take a big step next year.
00:57I don't love the bottom of their lineup,
00:59but I would say one through four, one through five,
01:02it's comparable to some of the other lineups in that division.
01:04So they've done a nice job.
01:06Yeah, a lot of big names moved out of Washington
01:08over the past couple years,
01:09waiting for some of those young kids actually kick it in
01:11and being 500 here for the Washington Nationals.
01:14Oh, they're only 500.
01:15Been a long time since this team this late into the season,
01:17roaming around 500.
01:18And again, as I talked about, second place right now in the NLE.
01:22In,
01:22in,
