00:10O Lord, open our lips, and our mouths shall sing your praise.
00:17O God, make speed to save us. O Lord, make haste to help us.
00:26Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning,
00:32is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
00:39Let us praise the Lord. The Lord's name be praised.
00:49I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
00:59I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages.
01:09God from God, light from light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the
01:19Father.
01:20Through him all things were made.
01:23For us men, and for our salvation, he came down from heaven, and by the Holy Spirit, was incarnate of
01:31the Virgin Mary, and became man.
01:35For our sake, he was crucified under Pontius Pilate.
01:39He suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.
01:46He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
01:52He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
01:59I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father,
02:06who with the Father and the Son, is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.
02:14I believe in one holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
02:18I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins,
02:22and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
02:30Amen.
02:33The Lord be with you, and also with you.
02:39Let us pray.
02:42Lord, have mercy upon us.
02:45Christ, have mercy upon us.
02:48Lord, have mercy upon us.
02:53Our Father in heaven, holy is your name.
02:58Your kingdom come.
03:00Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
03:05Give us today our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,
03:11as we forgive those who trespass against us.
03:16Do not allow us to fall into temptation, but deliver us from every evil.
03:23Amen.
03:27O Lord, have mercy upon us, and grant us your salvation.
03:35Bless your ministers with righteousness, and make your chosen people joyful.
03:44O Lord, save your people, and bless your inheritance.
03:51Give peace in our time, O Lord,
03:54because there is none other that fights for it, but only you, O God.
04:02O God, make clean our hearts within us.
04:07Do not take your Holy Spirit from us.
04:19The people of Judah and Israel were as innumerable as the sand on the seashore.
04:25They had plenty to eat and drink, and were happy.
04:30Solomon ruled all the kingdoms from the Euphrates River
04:33to the land of the Philistines as far as the border of Egypt.
04:37These kingdoms paid tribute as Solomon's subjects throughout his lifetime.
04:45Each day, Solomon's royal court
04:49consumed thirty cores of finely milled flour,
04:53sixty cores of cereal,
04:55ten calves fattened in the stall,
04:58twenty calves from the pasture,
04:59and a hundred sheep,
05:00not to mention rams,
05:02gazelles, deer,
05:03and well-fed birds.
05:07His royal court was so large
05:09because he ruled over all the kingdoms
05:10west of the Euphrates River.
05:13From Tifsa to Gaza,
05:15he was at peace with all his neighbours.
05:19All the people of Judah and Israel were secure.
05:23Everyone from Dan to Beersheba
05:25enjoyed the produce of their vines and fig trees
05:28throughout Solomon's lifetime.
05:32Solomon had four thousand stalls
05:34for his chariot horses
05:35and twelve thousand horses.
05:39The district governors acquired supplies
05:41for King Solomon
05:42and all who ate in his royal palace.
05:46Each was responsible for one month in the year,
05:49and they made sure that nothing was lacking.
05:53Each one also brought to the assigned location
05:56his quota of barley
05:57and straw for the various horses.
06:02God gave Solomon wisdom
06:04and a very great discernment.
06:06The breadth of his understanding
06:08was as infinite
06:08as the sand on the seashore.
06:11Solomon was wiser
06:13than all the men of the east
06:15and all the sages of Egypt.
06:17He was wiser than any man,
06:19including Ethan the Ezraite,
06:22or Hermann, Calcol, and Dada,
06:24the sons of Mehol.
06:26He was famous in all the neighbouring nations.
06:31He composed 3,000 proverbs
06:33and 1,005 songs.
06:37He produced manuals on botany
06:39describing every kind of plant,
06:42from the cedars of Lebanon
06:43to the hyssop that grows on walls.
06:47He also produced manuals on biology,
06:51describing animals, birds, insects, and fish.
06:55People from all nations
06:57came to hear Solomon's display of wisdom.
07:01They came from all the kings of the earth
07:03who heard about his wisdom.
07:07This is the word of the Lord.
07:10Thanks be to God.
07:16O God, thy feet are not coming
07:21to thine imperatives.
07:26Thy holy temple have made its mark
07:31and made Jerusalem heaven be lost stones.
07:40The dead bodies of thy servants
07:44have they given to be eaten
07:47to the birds of the earth.
07:53And the flesh of thy saints
07:56went to the midst of the land.
08:02When blood and they shed
08:06I thought of the every side of Jerusalem
08:13and there was no one to bury them.
08:22We now become an open shade
08:27into our heaven is
08:31from any storm and division
08:35unto the death that I love the waters.
08:43Lord, my Lord, let's love me again
08:50shall find them
08:53shall find them
08:54and see the light's path forever
09:00shall find them
09:03shall find them
09:03as time for the kingdom
09:06that hath not done Him
09:11and of all the kingdoms
09:14that hath not stood upon Him

19:47Even in the time appointed
19:51And upon a solemn feast day
19:56For this was made a statute for Israel
20:03And the law of the God of Jacob
20:11Is he ordained in Joseph from a testimony
20:17When he came out of the land of Egypt
20:23And had other spirit language
20:30Why he is this shoulder from the bottom
20:36And his hands were delivered from making the pot
20:43Thou callest upon me his troubles and thy delivery
20:52And turn thee most high as the storm fell upon thee
20:58I prove thee also as the waters of strife
21:07Hear, O my people, and thy will not shine
21:13For this hell if thou wilt walk her not to me
21:22There shall most great God be with thee
21:29I have shat down my ship any other home
21:37I am the Lord thy God
21:40Who brought me out of the land of Egypt
21:46O my people, and thy will not be my might
22:00And his raven would not obey him
22:07So I gave them up unto them on our sloths
22:14And let them follow their own imaginations
22:23All that my people would have thought and done to me
22:29For it is there and no hope in my ways
22:37I should soon have pushed on their enemies
22:44And start my hand against their adversaries
22:53For it is there and no hope in my words
23:00For it is a place where you may not have
23:04But your home should have made you forever
23:08He should have paid their most all
23:12With the joyless beetle
23:15And with money out of the starry rush
23:21For life has satisfied me
23:29Glory be to the Father
23:32And to the Son
23:36And to the Holy Ghost
23:39As it was in the beginning is now
23:44And to the Lord's hand
23:47And to the Lord's hand
23:54Amen
24:05The Gospel according to St John, Chapter 5
24:11After this there was a Jewish feast
24:13And Jesus went up to Jerusalem
24:17Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate
24:20A pool called Bethzada in Aramaic
24:23Which has five covered walkways
24:26A great number of sick, blind, lame and paralysed people
24:30Were lying in these walkways
24:33And the man was there who had been disabled for 38 years
24:38When Jesus saw him lying there
24:40And when he realised that the man had been disabled already for a long time
24:45He said to him
24:46Do you want to become well?
24:50The sick man answered him
24:52Sir, I have no one to put me in the pool
24:54When the water is stirred up
24:57While I am trying to get into the pool
24:59Someone else goes down there before me
25:04Jesus said to him
25:05Stand up
25:07Pick up your mat and walk
25:10Immediately the man was healed
25:11And he picked up his mat and started walking
25:15Now that day was a Sabbath
25:20So the Jewish leaders said to the man who had been healed
25:25It is the Sabbath
25:26You are not permitted to carry your mat
25:30But he answered them
25:31The man who made me well said to me
25:33Pick up your mat and walk
25:36They asked him
25:37Who is the man who said to you
25:39Pick up your mat and walk
25:42But the man who had been healed
25:44Did not know who it was
25:46For Jesus had slipped out
25:47Since there was a crowd in the place
25:53After this Jesus found him at the temple
25:55And said to him
25:56Look, you have become well
25:59Don't sin any more
26:01Lest anything worse happen to you
26:05And the man went away
26:07And informed the Jewish leaders
26:08That it was Jesus
26:10Who had made him well
26:13This is the word of the Lord
26:16Thanks be to God
26:22Collect for peace
26:25O God, who is the author of peace

26:41That we, surely trusting in your defence
26:44May not fear the power of any adversaries
26:48Through the might of Jesus Christ, our Lord
26:55Amen
26:57Collect for our safe preservation

27:04Who has safely brought us to the beginning of this day
27:09Defend us in the same with your mighty power
27:11And grant that this day we fall into no sin
27:15Neither run into any kind of danger
27:19But that all our doings may be ordered
27:24But that all our doings may be ordered
27:48By your governance
