00:03Famously, what we see of any berg is just the tip.
00:08About 90% of the ice exists under water, severely restricting its movement.
00:15Many of these newly formed icebergs become trapped and crushed in the ice fjord,
00:21becoming part of the sea ice that covers the fjord in winter.
00:27But with the melting of the sea ice in the spring,
00:32one mighty berg has the strength to set itself free.
00:38This impressive beast is 15 metres tall, the height of a five-storey building,
00:46and it makes for quite a sight as it rolls into Disco Bay.
00:54Disco Bay is the largest open bay in Western Greenland.
01:01Here, Arburg has become one of hundreds that have escaped the fjords.
