01:14it's his fifth consecutive and sixth career fight against an undefeated fighter so again you look at

06:24gonna be in that sixth round but he likes to break down opponents a little bit of a headbutt right
06:28there but gonzalez is doing a great job following that left hand with the right and and then another
06:34thing is that medina has a really awkward style he throws punches really wildly so you don't want to be
06:39in the middle or in front of those punches so i think that's why gonzalez does is you stay
06:43staying at that reach and being patient yeah single digit output in terms of connects with 40 seconds
06:51left in the second medina trying to build something off the jab but he's just it's there's no setup to
07:00his attack it's like he's punching blindly at times yeah well look he's gonna try and come to the bottom

09:50left hand and again nice pull counter with the left by gonzalez yeah and gonzalez is kind of known for
09:58that check right hook but he's showing that left hand as well oh yeah the left has been a go

10:03weapon for him in this one there's a left hook to the body by medina but medina's footwork crossing
10:09his legs it's just not aesthetically pleasing although there was a nice right hand almost a
10:15shovel punch from medina well like abner said he's an awkward fighter and that could take a little bit of
10:20time to kind of work out an awkward type fighter but gonzalez is not really having too much trouble at

10:25moment that was that jab that's dictating everything for gonzalez and again you know he's not staying
10:30in the inside and he's not doing anything out of the ordinary to get caught uh and catch by a
10:35wild
10:36punch by randy there body shot by gonzalez under a minute left in the first there's a left hand by
10:42medina
10:42and a body shot from medina but gonzalez remains composed under the first real fire from medina but
10:50good composure by the 20 year old yeah that was uh you saw medina kind of short in that left

13:30he's the one trying to rattle gonzalez and gonzalez continues to just be textbook yeah gonzalez is pretty
13:39much thinking if it ain't broke don't fix it but he can choose to do it he's still got a

13:42rounds left but he's i do like when he's upright he's still inching that foot closer while leaning
13:47back kind of being a little bit of deceptive and making medina lunge in but still in range to counter

17:48was knocked down twice more against Gary Hampton.
17:51So he has been on the canvas,
17:54but Ryan Gonzalez,
17:56who's looking for his fourth consecutive knockout,
17:58continues to just distribute the body shots
18:02and the punches upstairs.

19:23And the ref obviously is trying to prevent further damage.
19:27But I would have liked to see if Gonzalez has that ability to really put it on you
19:31and really kind of make the ref stop him.
19:33Because that one was.
19:34Well, it seemed like it was on the verge to that.

19:36It seemed like he was going to try to do just that, Gonzalez.
19:39But he kind of hurt both of them in that sense.
19:42But then to be fair to Alan Huggins, did he see something we didn't see?

19:47And the referee's job is fighter safety.
19:50He saw that Medina wasn't going to win the fight
19:53and he probably just wanted to save him for, you know, fight another day.

20:00Medina drops to 7-5 the second time he's been stopped.
20:03But the headline is the 20-year-old youngster, Brian Gonzalez,
20:07fighting out of Phoenix, Arizona, who improves to 5-0.
