00:00If you like to cook with bacon fat,
00:02this is a great way to kind of purify,
00:04kind of clean that fat out,
00:06and then store it for later use.
00:07Take your bacon fat, add it to a jar,
00:09and to that we're gonna add in really hot boiling water.
00:12Equal parts, make sure your lid is secure,
00:15and then give it a shake.
00:16And then we pop it in the fridge upside down,
00:18and we'll watch the magic happen.
00:20Voila, open it, and then we pour off the water
00:23that has accumulated, and that has trapped
00:26any other little impurities in there.
00:28Then you're left with pure, clean,
00:30ready to use bacon fat.
00:32It's ready to go, there's no like floating specks in there.
00:35That was really easy.
00:36This is gonna last longer,
00:37because you don't have those little flecks in there.
