00:00And I'm just curious of how you make up of that list of four guys.
00:04I feel like as I'm looking at this list, I keep getting my eyes drawn back to Colin Warikawa.
00:11I mean, I feel like it's the putter, man.
00:13If he putts well, he putts well.
00:14And I mean, so he gets he has that injury, of course, at the players.
00:20And but if you look at the rest of the season, he won at Pebble, T7 at Genesis,
00:26fifth at the API, tied for seventh at the Masters.
00:29I mean, the Masters, there are a couple of events where like he was having trouble pulling the ball out
00:35of the hole.
00:36Tied for fourth at the Heritage and he's still playing this good of golf.
00:39Now, he didn't play great at Doral, but I mean, that's that was a weird week and a tough venue.
00:46Part of me wants to pick Colin Warikawa this week.
00:49Yeah, I just feel like the game's in a great place.
00:53First strikes, strikes against approach.
00:54I mean, he he led in putting at the Masters, right?
00:57Like, like what? And he didn't win.
00:59Like, what happened? Oh, he was hurt.
01:01But he had that four weeks in a row where the putter, I mean, like green pop weeks,
01:07struggled bad with the putter to Ralph.
01:08He did. I don't know how he I think he didn't play quail, did he?
01:11He did not play quail.
01:12Yeah. So he took a week off, get a little more healthy.
01:14But, dude, I love Colin this week.
01:17I think if you just kind of reset the putter and like seeing that he's had some good weeks of
01:22the putter, dude.
01:23Yeah, I think I think Colin, I think I'd put Sepp at two winning in Philly.
01:29Something to there's something to it.
01:30I mean, it's a style of play.
01:32It's take us right back to where we start at the top of this episode, where there is a distinct
01:35style of golf here.
01:37Yeah. You know, and Philly cricket is not dissimilar to Aronimic.
01:41I know different designers, but like, you know, you're you're a lot of the same design elements or features of
01:48the land are in place.
01:49And so I like Sepp a lot.
01:51So with Sepp and Colin, so Colin Morikawa from 50 to 125 yards and now most approach stats, Colin Morikawa
01:59is going to be high up there.
02:00But his average is 15 feet, which is second on the PGA Tour.
02:04Where Sepp Straka is the fifth best wedge player from 50 to 125 yards, just a couple inches behind him.
02:12So like that, those are two players that are at the top of the board there when it comes to
02:19like having a lot of like maybe some short wedges.
02:22But again, are they going to are they going to be hitting their driver long enough to be in that
02:27in some of these shorter range as maybe some of the other guys?
02:30But I also think, too, like with Colin, the thing I love is that he's precise with his long irons,
02:35too, which as is Sepp.
02:36Exactly.
02:36I think it was last year Sepp was top five, maybe top 10 in prox from like, you know, 180
02:44to 200.
02:45Yeah, which I don't you're not going to get a ton of those yardages this week.
02:48But I'm saying if you're not long.
02:50I mean, we heard Keegan talk about our preview about, you know, he had 240 yards in on 18 when
02:56he played it in 2018.
02:58And they added another 40 yards to the hole.
03:00So there are definitely going to be spots where those guys are going to have to hit long irons.
03:03Like it feels like the flow of the golf course is you have a lot of wedges in your hand
03:07early on.
03:08And then we get to the back.
03:09There are some of those longer approaches, whether it's into a par five or it's, you know, an 18th hole
03:13up the hill where you can't even see the green.
03:15There's a lot of blindness element to this golf course.
03:18You know, just not being able to see but have the flag stick and just trust your number.
03:22And that's that's like calling.
03:23I want calling.
03:24I'm going.
03:25I'm going.
03:25I think you're right.
03:26I think you're right.
03:27Yeah, but watch out for Russell Henry, too.
03:30And you're having you trust.
03:32Listen, both great players.
03:33I'm having a hard time wrapping my brain around Russell or Tyrell.
03:36But but I like it.
03:38I like throw some sleepers for the for the people out there.
03:40Yeah.
03:40You're going to go wrong and I'm going to go call on.
03:42Yeah, I like it.
