00:00have an update on Francisco Lindor.
00:02We mentioned that Lindor was going for another MRI.
00:05David Stearns told that to all of us two days ago.
00:09Here's the update from Carlos Mendoza on Lindor,
00:12and I'll read it to you, and then you tell me if it's good, bad, or eh.
00:15You ready?
00:16The MRI on Lindor showed healing in the calf,
00:19but there is still no timetable for his return.
00:23Carlos Mendoza said Lindor will now move into the strength training portion
00:28of his recovery, though he is still appearing to be a ways away.
00:33So what does that mean?
00:34That's at least a month.
00:36Another month.
00:37I'd say more than that.
00:38Because remember, he has to play baseball.
00:41True.
00:41He's not going to just come up.
00:42And he didn't play a lot of baseball before the season started
00:45because he was hurt during spring training.
00:48So you're right.
00:49This is going to be a long time.
00:50My hope, and this doesn't mean it's realistic.
00:53I'm telling you this is what I'd hope for right now,
00:54is that coming out of the All-Star break, he'd be ready to go.
00:57But is that being too aggressive?
00:59Because that's only two months.
01:00That's two months from now.
01:01Two months seems doable.
01:03The question is whether or not, or the issue is going to be
01:06if he has a setback when he starts putting weight on it,
01:09meaning strength training it again.
01:11And if he does, there's going to be serious consideration
01:15about shutting him down for even longer.
