DPWH and Isko inspect newly completed constructions along Taft, Roxas Blvd, and P. Burgos

Department of Public Works and Highways Secretary Vince Dizon, together with Manila Mayor Francisco ‘Isko Moreno’ Domagoso, inspect the newly completed road and drainage improvement along the northbound lane of Taft Avenue from UN Avenue to Ayala Avenue and Roxas Blvd and P. Burgos in Manila, May 13, 2026.

The project includes the construction of larger drainage pipes measuring 1.5-meters in diameter, replacing the old 0.61-meter drainage. The upgrade will reduce flooding along Taft Avenue, particularly from TM Kalaw to Ayala Boulevard. (via Mark Balmores | MB)
