00:00I have found that the doctors that I'm seeing don't call it remission anymore.
00:03They might say that you have no evidence of disease.
00:06I get a lot of people who say to me,
00:07oh, you're done now, or oh, I'm so glad this is over for you.
00:11And I have to explain to a lot of people that it really isn't.
00:13My cancer is considered hormone-driven, so I need to take a hormone blocker.
00:18I have to take calcium because the hormone blockers can leach the calcium out of your bones,
00:24so that's a risk.
00:25I take a cherry supplement, which is supposed to help with the arthritis.
00:30Can't tell if it does or not. There is a study for it, but, I mean, I'll do what I
00:34can.
00:34I'm going to have to do this every day, twice a day, for the next five to ten years.
00:39This pill, it's thinning out my hair.
00:42It's not as bad as chemo, but it is definitely, like, I have half of the amount of hair that
00:46I used to have,
00:46and I had all these plans for different hairstyles I was going to do as it grew back in,
00:51and since it's thinning out my hairline, I can't do that.
00:55So it's just a change.
