00:00The NFL schedule release is happening on Thursday, but you will hear drips and drabs as it comes out.
00:07But if you like Sunday afternoon football, clear your schedule.
00:14Your Sundays are wide open late in the season because the NFL is really having some fun.
00:23So Thanksgiving weekend, there's a game on that Wednesday.
00:27Yep. Then there's three games on Thanksgiving.
00:31Then there's a game on Black Friday.
00:36So that's effing five games before Sunday.
00:41That's only one extra, right?
00:43They had a game on Black Friday last year and three games on Thanksgiving Day.
00:46The Wednesday things new.
00:48All I'm saying is that, and then there has to be a game on Sunday night.
00:51So that's six games that aren't Sunday afternoon.
00:56So the one o'clock slate that day, the game week is not going to be super fun.
01:03And then the new thing, though, is Christmas is a real ass show because they have a game on Christmas
01:10Eve, which is Thursday.
01:12And they have three games on Christmas.
01:16So that's another week where you're going to get just a bunch of crap on Sunday, which is really a
01:24shame because the best thing about the NFL is you don't feel like a loser sitting home on a Sunday.
01:31And they're taking that away.
01:32They're making us all feel like losers.
01:34Just the NFL, what makes it special and it was made it special all these years is it's one day
01:40you set in.
01:41There's a Monday night game, too, but it's one day you prepare all week for it.
01:45You're psyched for it.
01:46Now the NFL is almost every day.
01:49And it's just it's too much.
01:52You know, you want to miss it a little bit.
01:54It's the anticipation that really gets you ready for it.
