00:20y'all. Surprise, I'm in All Stars 11. There's going to be a lot of stuff happening here in
00:27the next few weeks. We have to prepare for our promos. So we have to go to LA, prepare our
00:33costumes in here and all that stuff. I moved a lot. I was in Nashville when I went on Drag
00:44Race for my
00:44regular season and then I moved to LA and now I'm back in Chicago where I'm originally from.
00:52I'm ready to go to brunch. I'm going to take you guys with me. I want you guys to meet
00:56the girls
00:56that I work with. So let's go.
01:01You know, I'm really enjoying my time here back home because all my friends are here and my family's
01:06here. And in this industry, it gets really lonely. And so I thought it was the time to really go
01:13back
01:13home and, you know, still be busy. But at the same time, I know that I have my family and
01:18friends
01:19to spend time with them. I've been working at Splash here in Chicago and they're my home bar.
01:26That's where I started drag in 2018 or 2017, something like that. And also a weekly brunch
01:32at the river, the kitchen bar. We are here at Drag Me to the River brunch.

02:26Hi, everyone. It's Veronica Pop. I'm here every single Sunday. Every single Sunday, girl. She is
02:32the girl. I'm tired. Veronica Pop and Boy J are like my two closest drag performers here in the city.
02:39They were wearing gold. They look like an Emmy. They look like the Emmy.
02:44I didn't see them for like five years. But then when I moved back, they immediately just welcomed me
02:49back to the family. And now I'm doing the show twice a month. And it turns into a dinner,
02:53actually, because we do three shows. We end the brunch at 5 p.m.
02:57Hey! Don't get the crocs. I'm telling you, I'm tired. I'm a tired show croc. Girl, this is what I

03:05with on Sundays. And yeah, I love them so much. Want to see more behind the scenes chaos? Then like

03:16My nipples are ticklish. Hey, everybody. I am here right now with my sister,
03:21Lika. And she's here to help me do my measurements for my promo. She wanted to step by and hang
03:26out
03:26because I am her favorite brother, right? Well, yeah, you're my only brother. Shut the... shut the
03:32up. Just go along with it. I'm your favorite brother, right? Yeah. The designer I chose for this
03:39project is Daniel Mendiola from Mexico. And he's done a few of my my looks for your all-stars as
03:45well.
03:45We decided that I wanted to look like a galactic warrior. Obviously still incorporate the moon
03:52goddess kind of theme that I do with drag. And he sent me dun dun dun dun. That looks incredible.
04:00Looks like an anime warrior. We still have the flowy fabrics because I know that on set,
04:06they're going to have like this big fan that's going to be blowing us. So that would be a cool
04:10effect.
04:1117 and a half. 17 and a half? Yeah. Okay.
04:17Don't get me started with my drag room right now. It's a whole mess.
04:20I'm a very organized person usually, but I have to pack for about three months of staying in LA because
04:27I
04:27am involved in a musical called Here Lies Love. And on top of that, I am filming promos in LA
04:33as well.
04:33So there's a lot of stuff that I need to prep for. Everything looks crazy right now,
04:38but everything is going to be worth it. It's going to be a good three months of my life.
04:42I leave in a couple of days, so I will see you guys maybe at the airport.
04:49All right, LA, here I come. You know, I didn't think that I was going to be back on All
04:54-Stars this
04:55soon, but as you get older, you realize how life is so short. I think we all got to take
05:03advantage of
05:04the opportunities that are being given to us and never question it, never doubt yourself.
05:12And just make sure that you're enjoying every moment, every second of your life.
05:20That's so weird and cheesy, but that's how I feel.
05:30I'm going to give you guys a quick tour of this place that I'm going to be staying in for
05:34about
05:35three months. This is the kitchen. We love that because I do love to cook. This is the dining area
05:42where I'm going to be eating and gaining lots of weight because I'm going to be stressed eating.
05:49Balancing preparing for the musical and promos was like something that I don't ever want to do again.
05:55Preparing for a musical itself is a beast, and also Drag Race is another beast.
06:00I have rehearsal tomorrow for the musical that I'm a part of called Here Lies Love.
06:06Here Lies Love is a musical that tells the story of the rise and fall of the former Philippine
06:13First Lady Imelda Marcos. It's a disco musical with an all-Filipino cast.
06:19I'm really excited for the opportunity, but at the same time I'm a little anxious because I feel like I
06:24don't belong.
06:26These people have achieved so many great things in the theater world, and I felt very out of place.
06:36Because I haven't done theater in 10 years, and my last role was Angel and Rent here in Chicago.
06:42You know, I think representation matters a lot. I didn't go to theater school because I didn't think
06:48that there was a place for me in the performance world. I've never done a show or never done a
06:54project
06:55surrounded by people like me and stuff. It's really cool.

07:16Today is our fittings for All-Stars promos.
07:20So we're here at the fitting room and these are some extra stuff that they have. So if your costume
07:27doesn't work out, you can probably pull from the racks. They also have some of these accessories
07:33looking amazing. I might steal that. My costume just got here. I've been waiting for this costume
07:41for like about five days. It was held in costumes and luckily it arrived yesterday. My costume is
07:50still in the box. I haven't seen it completely. I've only seen videos and pictures of it. I opened it
07:55and there's just so many different pieces. We were actually really confused on how to put this piece
08:00together. Ladies and gentlemen, the aura giving you all the mayor. It fits perfectly. It fits great!
08:09Okay. Had about five people helping me put this together and once we finished putting everything
08:14on, I mean I was very happy and very excited. Not bad for a customs look, right girl? Yeah, you're
08:21very
08:21speechless. You have nothing to say. Usually you have some shady things to say. I don't want to embarrass you
08:26on the cap.
08:26But the only problem with this one is that it's pretty heavy and I was pretty much immobile.
08:34And I know during the photo shoots and the video shoot, they're going to want me to move.
08:39So I don't know how that's going to work.
08:49That's so cool. Well, I can't move in this, so bear with me. I'm going to try to look sexy.
08:57Yeah, yeah. I always choose the hardest garment to walk in, but it just looks stunning.
09:03Okay. Ready, and three, two, one, lights in you.
09:12Beauty is pain and beauty has a prize and you guys should see my toes for that.
09:19This is the first impression that people are going to get from you for your season.
09:24And so it has to be good. And they asked me, who's the artist that will get me pumped up
09:31for the shoot?
09:32And I said, definitely Beyoncé. And so I just was trying to channel Beyoncé while walking down that runway.
09:40I don't want to sound so like self-absorbed. I just, I feel hot doing it.
09:49I just finished filming my promo video. It was wonderful. You guys are going to go.
09:55And we have some little boys in this month.
10:05Promos are finally done. I'm very happy with what I did and my look and my performance during this week.
10:12I can't wait for you guys to see it. Um, and be nice. Okay. Um, it's a lot of work
10:17and a lot of pain.
10:18So stop bullying us online. Just be nice.
10:22This whole team did an amazing job today, but can't wait. Can't wait for y'all to see it.
