00:21Our first story, NBCC bags 103 crore rupees CSR project management orders from PFC.
00:29NBCC India Limited has received CSR project management orders worth approximately
00:34103.47 crore rupees from Power Finance Corporation Limited. According to the official filing,
00:42NBCC has been appointed as the project management agency for implementing multiple CSR projects
00:49across different states in India. The projects will further strengthen NBCC's role in executing
00:55government-backed infrastructure and development initiatives.
00:58As one of India's leading public sector enterprises, NBCC continues to play a significant role in
01:05project management consultancy and engineering development across the country.

01:12Darmendra Pradhan urges corporates to invest more in R&D. Union Education Minister Darmendra Pradhan
01:18has called upon Corporate India to increase direct investment in research and development,
01:23stating that research funding should not be treated merely as a corporate social responsibility
01:28activity. Speaking at the IIT Madras Technology Summit, the minister highlighted that merely 70%
01:35of India's research investment currently comes from the government sector. He emphasized the need for
01:40stronger collaboration between industry and academic institutions and encouraged companies to invest in
01:46homegrown innovation rather than relying on imported technologies. The minister also highlighted the
01:51government's 1 lakh crore rupees research, development and innovation scheme aimed at boosting innovation in
01:57sectors such as artificial intelligence, semiconductors and clean energy.

02:03Nashek Industries pledged 35 crore rupees CSR support for Kumbh Mela Infrastructure.
02:09Industries in Nashek have pledged CSR support worth 35 crore rupees for infrastructure and civic
02:15development related to the upcoming Kumbh Mela. Major contributions include a 28 crore rupees
02:22sustainable water purification system at Kushavarth Kund in Trimba Keshwar, funded by Vishwaraj Foundation.
02:29Central Bank of India committed over 4 crore rupees for signage and wayfinding systems while several
02:35companies extended support for sanitation facilities, beautification projects, transport hubs,
02:41lighting and landscaping works. Authorities stated that these CSR initiatives will help create
02:47long-term civic assets while improving the overall experience for pilgrims and residents during Simhastha 2027.
02:54Moving ahead to our next story, NTPC Simhadri launches Girl Empowerment Mission 2026.
03:01NTPC Simhadri has launched the Girl Empowerment Mission 2026 under its Corporate Social Responsibility
03:08Initiative. The month-long residential workshop is focused on leadership development, confidence
03:13building, digital literacy, academic learning and life skills training for girls from underprivileged
03:19backgrounds. Around 130 girl students from nearby government schools are participating in the
03:24program, which also includes sports, arts, yoga and vocational learning activities. Officials
03:30highlighted that the initiative aims to empower young girls with education, leadership skills and
03:36opportunities for holistic development. And now presenting today's final story,
03:40Sandvik and Finovation improve wash facilities across Rajasthan schools.
03:45Sandvik Mining and Rock Technology India Private Limited in collaboration with Finovation
03:51successfully completed a health, water and sanitation project across 11 schools in Agucha village of
03:58Rajasthan's Bilwara district. The initiative focused on improving water, sanitation and hygiene
04:03facilities while promoting healthier practices among students and school staff. Key interventions
04:09included access to clean drinking water, improved sanitation infrastructure, hygiene awareness sessions
04:14and capacity building activities to encourage long-term behavioural change. The project also emphasised
04:21community engagement and sustainable school health practices, helping create safer and healthier
04:26learning environments for children. Through this initiative, Finovation and its partners reinforce their
04:31commitment to improving student wellbeing and strengthening wash infrastructure in underserved regions.
