Just like their jobs, the doctors take their sports seriously.

As we've heard of the North vs South Doctors football battles.

Well they took it to the cricket pitch this weekend at the National Cricket Centre.

And just like the football, the South doctors took home the bragging rights as the southern doctors won by 97 runs.

00:00The South doctors innings got off to a shaky start.
00:03Khalil Latif made an opening decision with a couple wickets at 31 for 2.
00:07But the men from South avoided any hemorrhage with a 78 run stand between Kirk Ramorak and
00:12Chandradath Bodo.
00:17However, it was the 107 run partnership between Bodo and Justin Salik that set up the Southerners
00:22for a big score.
00:26Bodo made 50 but Salik was the aggressor smashing 74 or 38 balls.
00:33South doctors batted through their 35 overs finishing with a healthy total of 257 for 7.
00:40The pressure to score took its toll on the North doctors from the first over and they
00:45would run themselves into more trouble.
00:55Avidish Pandey was the first to get some runs with 26.
01:11But when he was run out, the North doctors innings folded on 157 losing by 97 runs.
