04:40to do also with the amount of money that they're spending on people letting i mean they could have

04:43done it with mookie mookie everyone would have known as a matter of fact i would have gotten nine

04:47out of ten and that's hedging my bet because it probably would have been ten out of ten with mookie

04:51bets but i'm telling you i can't wait to see this experiment but if you're doing it at fenway i

06:37him back i he would be the probably most recognizable person on the team and he's been a disaster there

06:41no no doubt about that but you give nothing you just take him back and put i mean worth it

06:50or eight or something like that yeah it's just they have no you can't win at fenway you

06:55breslow built a lineup that cannot possibly win in your home park yeah which is insane because

07:00that's that's where you're supposed to you're supposed to have a lineup that takes advantage

07:03of the unique uh you know the dimensions of yeah of fenway but they don't so give the people what

07:09they want bring rafi back rafi oh i don't get the sense that people are clamoring i'm you know i'm

07:16a man on the streets and i don't hear people going teddy when are they going to bring rafael devers

07:20oh bring back that devers magic why not you know what who cares i i need somebody on this team

07:25can do that doesn't leave like men on base every single time god this team's addicted to it last

07:31four games four for 31 runners in scoring position are you kidding me yeah they've been held the one

07:36run or zero runs 10 times third most in baseball three runs or less in 22 of the 40 games

07:44it's just what do you expect this team was built on pitching and defense pitching and defense guys you

07:49know well i like toley and i just it does suck because this was a good story for him too

07:53his mother had died two years ago and it was like a mother's day thing where he was out there

07:58think everything was set up for this to be a feel-good moment and maybe even a rally point and

08:02good and he's only got what what one win under his belt because the team keeps failing him what was

08:08uh forgive me i was away all weekend the fallout he uh with uh the uh the player for the

08:14didn't like him showing him up oh yeah cam and yarrow i don't think he understood

08:17that it was partly his mother's i think he was emotional because of it's you know it's mother's

08:22day and he's he struck him out but he was definitely giving but isn't that the kind of

08:25pot kettle black because he's he loves to oh these guys celebrate oh yeah yeah yeah yeah that's yeah

08:32that's i forgot about that story over the weekend it's just it's it's easy to just kind of hear some

08:37of this stuff coming out of the red socks and be like you know start winning a little bit go

08:41you need a run and then to attack poor michael holly jeez well all right so i i you know

08:47let's go ahead and get into that so jaron duran is somebody who very publicly has been you know

08:52speaking about his mental health and dealing with it you know there's been times where he has snapped

08:56at fans you know he uh flipped the middle finger to a fan he's talked about how people were saying

09:01joking about him committing suicide and he didn't like that um you know he's been and he's been very

09:07open about saying that you know i'm somebody who struggles with my mental health he went even

09:14further than that sorry to interrupt rich we're in a documentary a couple years ago where he basically

09:18said he he attempted to take his life at one point so he's i mean he is what he has

09:23put it out there

09:24uh to basically so everyone knows you know exactly what he's dealing with yep so jaron duran ended up

09:31this weekend posting on his instagram a video of really i think the the biggest ne'er-do-well the

09:39biggest everyone knows that when it comes to the boston sports media there's none more with a vendetta or

09:45none more evil than michael holly spits bitch real that's all he does who's just when you think

09:52negativity you think michael holly first name but i love you michael love you michael's the best

10:00obviously i'm being extremely sarcastic i don't think there's it was funny when we were going

10:05against weei years ago like you know we pretty much hated everyone except for michael holly everyone

10:09loves michael holly he's the one guy who's like boy he sucks dale arnold and gwyneth hardway

10:25tonight on nbc sports boston uh let's take a listen but let's just be honest all teams lie

10:30they lie about injuries they just do tell me a a forthcoming organization in this city when it comes

10:38to injuries they just don't so when the red sox did it like why are we doing this why are

11:10be one of the biggest so far this has to be one of the biggest flops that we've seen first

11:15first part of that clip he's absolutely right i mean teams lie all the time they lie about injuries

11:19we know celtics uh jason tatum hello yep yep exactly exactly and you know what he's offish

11:24and enough copying day-to-day soft knee something soreness a little stiffness so jaron duran puts up

11:30that on his instagram and he put they let people like this on nbc sports and a clown emoji and

11:36then

11:36a crying laughing emoji and then a couple uh it uh copied rather michael holly and oh he went at

11:42he

11:42did an at michael holly huh he didn't at michael holly went right at him and then not much after

11:47he did that when people just started crushing him there being jaron duran and the awful year that

11:54he's been having he not only yanked that post but shut down his entire instagram and to jaron duran i

12:01say

12:01this excellent good keep going you are someone jaron who is very openly dealing with your mental health

12:10there is nothing more toxic than paying attention to what's going on in social media

12:15nothing good comes from it it's a it's a fix you think that for a moment someone says something nice

12:21but when you see that negativity it stays with you it eats at you there's psychiatrists and there's

12:25people who are mental health experts all over the country who will tell you social media is toxic

12:31so i say to jaron duran i'm not going to sit here and make fun of him if you truly

12:36and you know

12:36what i there's a lot of people saying that jaron duran is faking the mental health stuff in order

12:41to get away with being an a-hole i've heard that before you know what turn off all your social

12:46media

12:46and you'll never hear that because people are going to say dumb things all the time that aren't true

12:52that are uneducated uninformed and idiotic but you turn off your social media get off of it keep going

12:59jaron get if you've got twitter get off of it if you've got you know any other kind of way

13:04that the

13:05people can randomly that you don't know can yell at you and tell you how much you suck get off

13:09of it

13:09your job is tough enough standing in front of a crowd every single night and having people yell

13:15insane stuff at you don't you think that's enough why would you punish yourself even more

13:20you know what only listen to the people that are important to you your manager is important

13:24your family is important outside of that who gives a rat's ass but you're of a different generation

13:29to jaron duran this this that's all these people grew up with he's what 29 30 years old like if

13:35shut off social media you're shutting out your entire peer group that's not true there are tons

13:40of famous people who stay off social media and it works in their favor you don't look at jaron duran

13:45and go why would you go after michael holly for something that really had nothing to do with him

13:51at all he was wrong for that he absolutely was and you know what happened because social media

13:56loves to take what you threw out there and throw it right back in your face and maybe he learned

14:01that moment you know what it's bad to listen to and it's bad to to dish it out i feel

14:06like there's

14:06been instances before that he should have learned his lesson you would think so this do you think he

14:11because it was roman anthony that the holly was sort of attacking there was he trying to be like a

14:15good leader like here's a young guy yeah yeah so i can i can kind of understand this guy's back

14:20little bit at least that you know but not in that thing to trigger you like i think that's a

14:25like why are you it's it's because he's one of these people who seems to get you know what there's

14:32people who are addicted to anger you know what i'm talking about drama they seek out anger because it

14:37makes them feel alive and i don't know if he's like that but i do know that anybody who continues

14:44to take what people are saying on social media or people are saying about you and try to throw it

14:50in there and then it gets to the point you have to shut down your instagram you know what life

14:55better when you're off it no doubt no doubt it's just kind of like you know it's like why you

15:00he picked the fight and then when once they come at us oh hey you know now everyone's you know

15:05coming at me well you kind of started it bro why did you say anything exactly well he's learning too

15:10that that you can avoid the temptation to toss it out there because it always comes back tenfold worse

15:18when you do that always so and it's it's why i told like friends of mine even in our industry
