00:00Even desserts can taste like a million dollars,
00:02so this one's called Million Dollar Cake,
00:04and it starts, ironically, with a box cake mix.
00:07So for this, you just make the cake
00:08according to the box directions.
00:10What goes in between and around the cake
00:12is where the million dollar comes in.
00:14Starting with the cream cheese,
00:15I'm gonna beat this till it's light
00:17and then add in some powdered sugar.
00:18Now we go in with a can of crushed pineapple,
00:22mandarin oranges, then we go in with instant pudding,
00:25and then one more ingredient.
00:26We gotta go in with the coolant.
00:27I'm just gonna keep this in the fridge
00:29so that it stays kinda thick.
00:31Cakes have cooled, slice them in half.
00:33Box cake mix is really spongy,
00:35so it's gonna absorb, like, if any juices come out,
00:38kinda like strawberry shortcake.
00:39Really, I bet it would be delicious if we stopped here.
00:42You don't even have to do the outside, but we will.
00:44Ta-da!
00:45This cake needs to refrigerate and set
00:48and come together at least several hours,
00:50preferably overnight.
00:52Yum to the yum, yum, yum.
00:54This is my first time having Million Dollar Cake,
00:56but I feel like I'm not gonna be disappointed.
01:00Mmm, that's delicious.
01:02It's almost, like, refreshing.
01:03It's sweet, but not too sweet,
01:05but it makes you feel like a million bucks, you know?
