00:00No eggs, no problem. Three egg swaps you should know when baking. We're gonna make four cakes
00:05from cake mix. One will be the control so you can see what cake looks like when it's made with
00:09eggs
00:09and three will use different egg swaps. Control cake done. For the first egg swap we'll mix
00:14chocolate cake mix with a can of soda. One 12 ounce can of soda with cake mix, no other ingredients.
00:19The carbonation of the soda creates rise and lift resulting in a cake most like the control.
00:24For the next egg swap we'll mix applesauce with our chocolate cake mix instead of eggs.
00:28Use 1 4th cup of applesauce per egg, unsweeten is best. It adds extra moisture and has a neutral
00:34flavor. For the final egg swap we'll mix yogurt with our chocolate cake mix instead of eggs. Use
00:391 4th cup yogurt per egg, Greek style is best. This results in a cake that's more dense than
00:44the control cake. I think I like it better too. Which egg swap is your favorite?
