00:00I've got 13 surprising recipes that start with boxed cake mix.
00:05I'm going to start by turning boxed cake mix into cookies.
00:08When I discovered this trick, I was blown away.
00:11They make the most moist and delicious cookies.
00:14And what's even better is that you can make any flavor cookie you want
00:17based on whatever cake mix you use.
00:19So I'm going to make strawberry cookies.
00:21And then it's just two eggs and half a cup of oil.
00:24No mixer required either.
00:26Just stir it up.
00:27Of course you can turn this into more ingredients if you wanted to stir chocolate chips
00:31or white chocolate chips in here.
00:33I pulled this trick out when my kids like on their first day of school,
00:35letting them think they would come home every day to warm baked cookies.
00:39That was a one and done, but it was still easy.
00:41And then straight onto a baking sheet.
00:43These are the kind of cookies that bake up a little bit like those crinkle cookies
00:46where the top is going to be a little bit craggly.
00:48It's great if you want to also make a little glaze or just dust with powdered sugar
00:51because they'll have all these little crevices to fill.
00:54Start to finish less than half an hour because these bake at 350 for just about eight minutes.
00:59Perfect little cookies.
01:01See how they get a little crackly on the top?
01:03That's what I like.
01:04Not necessary, but you can add a little finishing touch with a little powdered sugar.
01:07I've also done these with lemon cake mix and done a little glaze on the top.
01:11I've also done it with chocolate and I've added chocolate chips.
01:14Possibilities are endless.
01:16You want to let them cool on your baking sheet for about five minutes before you take them off
01:20and let them cool completely because they are a really soft cookie.
01:24Like I said, this works with any flavor box cake mix.
01:27It needs to be in the 15.25 ounce box, but any flavor will work.
01:30But no matter what, they end up super soft like this.
01:35They melt in your mouth.
01:39These are to die for.
01:41And next up is cake mix, the secret to the best cinnamon rolls.
01:44This is the first time for me making cinnamon rolls with box cake mix.
01:48Something about using a box cake mix to eliminate certain ingredients.
01:52It just makes the process feel easier.
01:54So I do have a little bit of flour in a bowl.
01:56To that you just add a pack of white cake mix.
01:59And that already has some leavening in it.
02:01Plus a little bit of sweetness.
02:03It's just a little more flavorful than just all plain flour.
02:05Mix that together.
02:06Then I'm going in with a yeast and water mixture.
02:08I've already activated my yeast in warm water for about 10 minutes.
02:11Pour that straight in.
02:12Obviously that's still too loose.
02:14So we'll go in with a little more flour until it comes together.
02:17So we'll add flour about half a cup at a time until the dough pulls from the sides of the bowl.
02:23Like this.
02:24Transfer it to a floured surface and then knead it until it's no longer sticky for several minutes.
02:30You end up putting about another cup and a half to two cups of flour in the mixture.
02:34At this point, I'm just going to put it into an oiled bowl.
02:37Cover it and let it rise until it's doubled in size.
02:40Should take about a half hour or so.
02:42Doubled in size.
02:43And now we're going to roll it out.
02:45The dough is so relaxed and soft.
02:47Get it into a rectangle about 10 by 16.
02:50Spread on softened butter.
02:52This gives the cinnamon and brown sugar something to stick to.
02:55Now an even layer of brown sugar.
02:57And then sprinkle on a couple of teaspoons of cinnamon.
03:00And then roll it up.
03:01Kind of even it out and then just slice it.
03:03At this point, the recipe states that you could dip them in a little melted butter and pecans.
03:09I like to keep mine simple.
03:11It's a good looking cinnamon roll.
03:13So we're just going to place them in a buttered casserole dish and let them rise again for about 30 more minutes.
03:19You want them to like be snuggled up together.
03:21Cover.
03:22Let it rise.
03:23Cinnamon rolls have risen.
03:25And now these just go into the oven 375 degrees for just about 20 minutes.
03:30I made homemade cinnamon rolls.
03:32Golden brown and delicious.
03:34Now I'm going to add a little icing because I like icing on the cinnamon rolls.
03:37This is just a simple frosting with some butter, powdered sugar, a little milk, a little vanilla.
03:42Just let it work it into the little nooks and crannies.
03:46That is a fluffy cinnamon roll.
03:49Smells so homemade.
03:51So tender and gooey.
03:53I'm really excited.
03:54They really rise when you bake them touching each other because then they just have to bake up.
03:58They don't have another choice.
04:00This is the fluffiest cinnamon roll I've ever seen.
04:03You know, I go straight for the centerpiece.
04:05That's the perfect bite right there.
04:07Mmm.
04:08That is one of the most tender cinnamon rolls I have ever eaten.
04:12It melts in your mouth.
04:13And much to my surprise, it's not overly sweet, even though we started with a box of cake mix.
04:18We're doing these next two at the same time because they're super similar.
04:21We are turning cake mix into dump cakes and cobblers.
04:24Dump cakes and cobblers basically consist of three ingredients.
04:27A canned fruit or some sort of fruit, cake mix and butter.
04:31That's all you need.
04:32The difference between a dump cake and a cobbler is that a dump cake is more cakey.
04:37It's got more of a distinct topping that is a little bit drier.
04:41It's almost like a crumble, but still super buttery and rich.
04:45And the fruit is a little bit thicker.
04:47Where a cobbler, it's just a little juicier.
04:49You've got a little more of a syrup with it.
04:51You could stop at the apples, but why when you've got caramel.
04:54Just gonna drizzle a little of this over the apples.
04:57And then on goes your cake mix.
04:59This is very customizable.
05:00My grandmother used to do one with cherries and chocolate.
05:03Because this is a caramel apple situation, a spice cake mix works perfectly here.
05:07You just want to sprinkle this over the top in an even layer.
05:11Don't mix it.
05:12And then you just pour over melted butter.
05:14You're gonna be tempted to want to like stir this and mix it together.
05:17But this kind of dessert really incorporates the power of trust the process.
05:23These make it 350 until they're browned and bubbly.
05:26Usually takes close to an hour.
05:28For the cobbler, recipe calls for two peaches in syrup and you don't drain them.
05:32So again, this one's a little more like juicy.
05:35I always add in one extra can of fruit that has been drained.
05:38Okay, same process.
05:40Yellow cake mix here.
05:41This is one of the first things I ever learned to cook, period.
05:44Some may argue that this too is a dump cake, but it's not.
05:48Okay, this is a peach cobbler.
05:49And I love this dessert because you can make it any time of year.
05:52Using a slightly smaller dish so I didn't quite use the whole pack.
05:56And drizzle on that melted butter.
05:58Bada boom.
05:59I'm real excited about these.
06:01Get your coffee ready if you want to have it for breakfast.
06:04Get your ice cream ready if you want to have it for dessert.
06:07Dump cake.
06:09It's smelling divine.
06:11Peach cobbler.
06:12I think I'll have this for breakfast and dessert.
06:15I'll start with the dump cake for breakfast.
06:17Crumbly, gooey.
06:19And you get that cakey top.
06:21And you know what?
06:22We're going to have ice cream for breakfast too.
06:24So I'm just going to go ahead and put ice cream on this.
06:26I love a dump cake.
06:27Mmm.
06:28Oh my gosh.
06:29The butter with the cake mix and the way it makes this magical crust, it's unmatched, but
06:37maybe matched by a cobbler.
06:39You'll see the difference that I'm talking about.
06:41This one is a little more syrupy.
06:43It's got the juice.
06:44And I like to spoon a little over the top after we put the ice cream on.
06:48You too can be only three ingredients away from this goodness.
06:52Look at that.
06:54Perfect bite.
06:57Mmm.
06:58Something about the flavor of yellow cake mix, it just tastes like your childhood.
07:01Using a cake mix is by far the easiest way to make a cobbler.
07:07It's going to be hard to top this, but watch how I transform a box of cake mix next.
07:11For my next trick, I'm turning a delicate, fluffy cake mix into rich, chewy cookie bars.
07:17First, I'm just going to cream together a little bit of butter and brown sugar.
07:20All right.
07:21Then mix in one egg and a little water.
07:26And then in goes the cake mix.
07:28Once you have the cake mix, do it until it's just blended.
07:32At this point, you'll notice it's a lot thicker than a cake batter, slightly thinner than a cookie batter.
07:37It's easily customizable.
07:38You can stir in whatever you want.
07:40You could do the sprinkles.
07:41You could leave it plain.
07:42You could also use a chocolate cake mix here and do a chocolate cookie bar.
07:46I'm going in with some walnuts and chocolate chips.
07:49Just fold it in and then we're going to spread it into the pan.
07:51Nine by 13 that you've greased.
07:53I've greased and lined it with some parchment.
07:55And then you're going to kind of like spread it into an even layer.
07:58It's really thick.
07:59So you just got to kind of finesse it a little bit.
08:02These go into the oven 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
08:06It's just about 25 minutes.
08:08And these are golden and perfectly done.
08:10In order to cut these into true bars, you've got to let them cool completely.
08:13You can lift it out and they will cut so beautifully now.
08:17I feel like when it says bar, it's not a perfect square.
08:20It's more of like a rectangle.
08:21I'm also going to cut off the edges just because they're like a snack for the chef.
08:26Perfect little cutie.
08:27It's tender.
08:28This is what I love about a cookie bar.
08:30You could also use the same recipe and make a cookie cake because it's so substantial and you can cut it into slices.
08:35You could also decorate the top of these with like melted chocolate and sprinkles.
08:40See?
08:41You can and should turn cake mix into cookie bars.
08:47Mmm.
08:48That's perfection.
08:49That's what that is.
08:50Did you know you can turn cake mix into fudge?
08:52And you can customize this for whatever the holiday is.
08:55This is going to make great gifts.
08:56And it's just a fun thing that kids could also make on their own.
08:59So you start out with some sweetened condensed milk in a saucepan.
09:03To that, I'm adding in a bag of white chocolate chips.
09:06And if I had to guess, you could do this with chocolate chips and chocolate cake mix.
09:10And then you're just going to cook this over low heat until those chocolate chips have melted.
09:14And now take it off the heat and stir in the cake mix.
09:18We are doing like birthday cake fudge.
09:20So I'm going in with sprinkles also.
09:22This is when you can customize it.
09:24It's not the whole box of cake mix.
09:25You just want to go in with about a cup and a half.
09:27And that again is just a white cake mix.
09:29Because that's going to be your most neutral flavor.
09:31Take an eight by eight pan.
09:32You can line it with wax paper or parchment paper.
09:34And then add in your fudge mix.
09:37Kids would love to make this recipe.
09:39You can grease the back of a spatula.
09:41Make it easier to spread out.
09:42It's going to set up pretty quickly.
09:44So you can't dilly dally.
09:45All right.
09:46Then I'm going to top it with just a few more sprinkles to keep it looking pretty.
09:48Christmas time.
09:49You can do the red and green sprinkles.
09:51Fourth of July, red, white, and blue.
09:53Easy cake mix fudge.
09:55Now I'm going to refrigerate it.
09:56You want it to refrigerate and let it set completely for a couple hours.
09:59Our fudge is done.
10:01Look how cute it is.
10:03We're going to use our parchment to get this out of the pan.
10:06And you want to cut it in little squares.
10:08Oh my gosh.
10:09That is so cute.
10:11That just feels like a party.
10:13This could not have been easier.
10:14It's a super affordable food gift if you want to give it to someone or food craft for your kids.
10:19I didn't think I was going to like that this much.
10:24I thought it was going to be too sweet, but it's just perfect.
10:28I will be doing this again.
10:29The texture is perfect.
10:30Up next, I'm going to turn cake mix into brownies.
10:33I'm sharing my favorite brownie recipe that starts with German chocolate cake mix and it's caramel brownies and they are so good.
10:40So you may say, why don't you just use a box brownie mix?
10:43But what if you don't have one?
10:45Or what if you want something like a lemon brownie or a strawberry brownie?
10:49You can use that flavor cake mix because they don't make that flavor brownie mix.
10:52See what I mean?
10:53In goes the cake mix.
10:55To that, I'm going in with some melted butter and evaporated milk.
10:59That's basically it for the batter.
11:01Then you spread half of this into your brownie pan.
11:04I've lightly greased.
11:06This is one of those trust the process brownies.
11:08You put a super thin layer on the bottom of your pan.
11:11This is one of those brownies that everyone thinks is homemade even though it starts with a box.
11:16But whenever you're making a brownie with a box cake mix, you'll notice that the mixture is a lot thicker than cake batter.
11:22I'm just going to par bake this for about 10 minutes.
11:25Now we'll spread chocolate chips over the warm cake and then I'm going to top it with this caramel sauce.
11:30It's just a mixture of caramel candies and a little evaporated milk.
11:33Then top it with the rest of your batter and it'll spread out as it bakes.
11:37I told you, you got to trust the process with this one.
11:40Now these go back into the oven for about another 15 minutes and then you let them cool completely before you slice them.
11:45Let's see the caramel and the chocolate peeking through that brownie mix.
11:50It's going to be a good one y'all.
11:51Let's cut some brownies.
11:53It's all about that caramel.
11:55Oh my God.
11:57I mean look, gooey chocolate, gooey caramel.
11:59Telling you right now, it is all about the chewy caramel, the gooey chocolate, a just right amount of brownie.
12:07Y'all might need to leave me alone for this one.
12:12If heaven was a brownie, I think this would be it.
12:15Want brownies that everyone thinks you made homemade?
12:18Use your box cake mix and whip these up.
12:20And next I've got the perfect cold treat.
12:23We're making one of my favorite developments, an ice cream cake.
12:26And it starts with a box cake mix.
12:28And for this one, we're going to start by making the box cake mix exactly as directed.
12:32You can choose whatever cake mix flavor you want.
12:35I'm doing devil's food cake.
12:37I'm just going to dump it into a mixer, water, oil, and eggs, and then mix it up.
12:44You're going to pour this into two eight inch round cake pans.
12:47You're only going to use one for this cake, or you could make two cakes.
12:52Just definitely cheaper than buying two of them.
12:54They don't have to be perfectly even because they're not going on top of each other.
12:58These go into the oven 350 degrees for just about 24 minutes.
13:03Cakes are done.
13:04You want to let these cool completely, and then we'll build our ice cream cake.
13:08And now, if you know those ice cream cakes I'm talking about,
13:11they have the little chocolate crunchies in the middle.
13:14That's the best part.
13:15So you just get some Oreos.
13:17Crush them up finely, and then you dump a whole bottle of Magic Shell right on top.
13:22I'm telling you this stuff, this is the secret ingredient.
13:25And then coat all of those little cookies in the mixture.
13:29And then when this chills next to the ice cream in the freezer, it hardens.
13:34It's so good.
13:35Okay, get your platter to start building your cake.
13:38You've got your cooled chocolate layer.
13:40You're going to take it out of the pan.
13:41I like the flat side to be up, and then you can kind of press down.
13:44That bottom will flatten as we build the cake.
13:46Then you put the crunchies right on top of that.
13:49That's what they're called, crunchies.
13:51It's a very technical baking term.
13:53See what I'm saying? How nobody's going to care that this started with a box cake mix.
13:56They're going to be like, how did you make that?
13:58Now, the really smart move when it comes to the ice cream layer is that you get another matching cake pan,
14:04so that you know it's going to be the same size, and just smush your ice cream down in the cake pan with plastic.
14:10Then it's already its own layer, and you put it right on top.
14:14It does not have to be perfect because we are going to ice it.
14:18See how cute? Trust me, it'll all come together.
14:21So at this point, you're going to freeze it again, and then you can ice it however you want.
14:25I recommend a homemade whipped cream sweetened with just powdered sugar, and that's all you need.
14:30I've gone ahead and done that, so wait until you see what it looks like.
14:35I might have started something bad here because if I bring this home to my kids, this is what they're going to expect for every birthday.
14:41All we did was cover with a little fresh whipped cream, freeze it, decorate it, freeze it again, and let's just see.
14:48It's all about the crunchies.
14:50Y'all aren't ready for this.
14:51There's no way you would want to make this cake with anything other than a box mix.
14:56Look at that.
14:58When I tell you it's all about the crunchies, it's all about the crunchies.
15:01I almost don't want to eat it. I'm so proud of it.
15:04I went in for that perfect bite.
15:06Mmm, this cake is everything, and no offense to the boxed cake on this one, but it's not the story of the show.
15:14The soft cake in combination with those chocolate crunchies, that cold vanilla ice cream, and that creamy frosting, 13 out of 10.
15:22Speaking of cake, let's turn that boxed cake mix into your kids' favorite treat.
15:26It's time to stop paying too much money for dried up cake puffs.
15:31You can make a bunch for about the same price as it takes to buy one.
15:34Take one box of yellow cake mix or whatever flavor you are craving, cook it up in a 9x13, and then we're going to crumble it into a bowl.
15:42This is also a great thing to do with any leftover birthday cake because it's just cake and icing mixed together.
15:48You can take a store-bought cake with icing on it and just mush it all together.
15:52Kind of looks like cornbread right now.
15:54You don't have to break it up all the way because it's going to further break up when we mix it with the frosting.
15:59Did you know it was this easy to make cake pops?
16:02All right, so you've got your mixture like this.
16:05Before you can roll it up into balls, you want it to kind of come together a little bit more, so you pop it in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
16:10All right, after it's been chilling with your clean hands, of course, you're going to roll this mixture into balls.
16:17You want it to be pressed together pretty well.
16:19You want these to be nice and cold because now you're going to dip them in melted chocolate, and then you want that to harden.
16:25It kind of sets like a magic shell.
16:27I've just got some melted white chocolate.
16:29If you don't have a lollipop stick, you can just keep these as balls and call them cake truffles.
16:34Same thing.
16:35If you stick your stick down in the chocolate and then put it right here, it'll help it stick and stay in.
16:42You could always color the chocolates and make them pink or green or whatever.
16:47All right, and then go in with your pop into the chocolate.
16:51It helps if you put it in a glass or something deeper so that you can submerge the whole thing, and then you've got to rest it on something.
16:59You want to rest it vertically so that you don't have a flat spot.
17:02Otherwise, you just lay it down, but know that you'll have like one little flat spot on your cake pop.
17:07While it's still wet is when you want to decorate it.
17:10Just a few on top just to keep them cute.
17:12Then you can get a little piece of styrofoam, you can do a shoe box, something that you can poke holes in.
17:16And that's a good way to stand your sticks up and then just let them dry.
17:20Cute, huh?
17:21And just keep going.
17:22You could do these with just that white crystallized sugar, make these look like little snowballs.
17:29Look how cute these are.
17:30And this isn't even half of that mix for the same price as buying one.
17:36See, this is the difference between buying them and making your own is that cake is still super moist.
17:43It's not all dried out.
17:44It's perfect.
17:45Now, let's see what I've got on my sleeve next.
17:48Yes, you can turn boxed cake mix into muffins.
17:51And I'm about to show you how.
17:53We're going to do pumpkin muffins.
17:54So it's just a box of cake mix.
17:56I'm doing vanilla and a can of pumpkin.
17:59Straight in.
18:00And this is going to be way cheaper than getting bakery muffins.
18:04It's one of those recipes where you're like, whoever thought of this sure was smart.
18:08All right, then I'm just going to season it with cinnamon, nutmeg, and a little bit of cloves.
18:12If you've got pumpkin pie spice, you could just do that.
18:14Now we mix.
18:15Pumpkin has a lot of moisture in it.
18:17So even though it doesn't look like it's going to come together, it will.
18:21Two ingredients.
18:22No mixer required.
18:23This is so fast you can even whip these up on a school morning.
18:27Good to go.
18:28All right, then just fill up your muffin cups.
18:30You could easily do this as mini muffins too for a little brunch.
18:34This time of year is busy enough.
18:36When it comes to baked goods, we should take all the shortcuts we need.
18:39To really give these the homemade effect.
18:41I'm just going to top them with a little bit of coarse sugar.
18:44You can just do a mixture of brown sugar or turbinado sugar, cinnamon, whatever.
18:48They're going to really think we went all out now.
18:50Don't you dare tell anybody these are not homemade.
18:53These just go into the oven 350 degrees for about 20 minutes.
18:57These are perfect.
18:58I love the little craggly top with the sugar crust.
19:01Just going to let them cool.
19:03You could also stir chocolate chips into this.
19:05My kids love pumpkin chocolate chip muffins.
19:07At this point, it's safe to say that cake mix can be whatever it wants to be when it grows up.
19:12It's so soft.
19:14It's moist on the inside.
19:16A little bounciness.
19:17Does it taste as tender as it looks?
19:23Y'all won't believe it.
19:24It tastes just like a pumpkin muffin.
19:27The muffins are perfect.
19:28We're going to keep with the breakfast theme and make donuts next.
19:31Cake mix into donuts.
19:33Why not?
19:34Simple mixing instructions.
19:35A box of cake mix.
19:37I'm doing vanilla.
19:38Two eggs.
19:39Quarter cup of milk.
19:41And a quarter cup of vegetable oil.
19:43Seems like you can turn a lot of different doughs into donuts.
19:46Might be hard to top when I made donuts with the canned biscuits.
19:49Those blew me away.
19:50You should check that one out if you haven't.
19:52Now, the difference between these donuts and the others is these are not deep fried.
19:57However, you could take this mixture right here and just drizzle it into oil and call it a funnel cake.
20:04But for our donuts, I'm going to do baked donuts.
20:07And so you do need to have a donut pan.
20:09All right, so I'm going to add it to a piping bag.
20:13You don't want to overfill your donut pan.
20:16Two little swirls around your donut pan.
20:19One thing's for sure, this is a lot less messy to make donuts this way.
20:23Now, these should sit in your pan for like five to seven minutes just to rest and get acclimated.
20:28And then they go into the oven, 350 degrees for about 10 to 12 minutes.
20:34Donuts in no time.
20:36You want to let them rest in the pan for about five minutes before we glaze them.
20:40And for the glaze, I'm just doing a simple chocolate glaze.
20:43You could just do powdered sugar and milk.
20:45I'm in a chocolate kind of mood.
20:46No big deal that they weren't deep fried when they're covered in delicious chocolate.
20:51Because we just put in minimal wet ingredients, these are nice and sturdy.
20:56They're really holding up to the glazing process.
20:58If this was just a piece of cake, it would really fall apart because it'd be too tender.
21:01Some sprinkles if you wish.
21:03This is the kind of treat that's just perfect because you can customize it however you want.
21:08And I'm all about customizing things, especially if you're having some sort of theme party.
21:12You could totally make these for whatever occasion.
21:14You want to let it sit for just a minute till that glaze sets.
21:18The moment of truth.
21:20While it's not deep fried, does it satisfy the donut craving?
21:24Let's see.
21:28It's tender.
21:29Because it gets kind of toasty all around, it makes it almost like a savory version of a cupcake.
21:35It's more of an old fashioned donut.
21:37Of course, I'm going to always prefer the deep fried version, but these sure were easy to make.
21:44I'm going to show you one more way to serve up cake mix for breakfast.
21:47We're going to turn cake mix into waffles.
21:50I'm going to be honest, I haven't done this one before, so we're doing this one together.
21:53Make this like the instructions call for in the package.
21:55I'm choosing vanilla cake mix.
21:57Oil, eggs, and water.
21:59Doesn't get much easier than that.
22:01Waffle iron ready.
22:02In goes our batter.
22:04They cook up pretty fast too.
22:06Just a couple minutes.
22:08Look at those beauties.
22:10They're quite perfect.
22:11Is it cake or is it waffle?
22:13You could get the Funfetti flavor.
22:16Serve this up for a birthday breakfast.
22:18They're a little softer, a little more tender than a regular waffle.
22:22But if you wanted them like toastier, you could now pop them in the toaster, I think.
22:26Top it with a little butter to add a little savory note to the sweet,
22:30but then a little more sweet with some syrup.
22:32And then I'm going to serve this up more breakfast style and less dessert style
22:36by adding on some fresh berries.
22:38Cakes for breakfast, say I can't do it.
22:41Perfect bite.
22:43I thought it was just going to taste like cake, but it doesn't for some reason.
22:46It does kind of taste more like a pancake than a waffle, but with the waffle look,
22:50maybe it just tricks your brain.
22:53That's a good one.
22:54I've got one final trick and we'll pour in that cake mix in a glass.
22:58We're making milkshakes.
22:59Why would you do that, you ask?
23:01Because it's a great way to thicken up your milkshake a little bit,
23:04make it a little more indulgent without having to add triple the amount of ice cream.
23:08There is one rule when it comes to this.
23:10You first have to heat treat your cake mix.
23:14You've got to kill any possible bacteria that could be in flour.
23:17This is the same way if you made edible cookie dough, you would have to toast the flour first.
23:21It's just something you do.
23:22So 350 for about 10 minutes in the oven.
23:24That's all it takes and then let it cool.
23:26Then you can keep this in a container for when you make milkshakes.
23:28It's just a good little hack.
23:30I'm going chocolate because chocolate milkshakes reigns supreme.
23:34However, you could do a birthday cake shake, vanilla, again, whatever cake mix you want.
23:39Add it in with a little milk and a few tablespoons of our cake mix.
23:42Always add more.
23:43Let it rip.
23:49That is thick and creamy.
23:54That's a perfect milkshake if you ask me.
23:56That's a good hack.
23:57And a cherry on top.
23:59This one's thick enough, it's going to need the big straw.
24:01Oh, that's one of the best milkshakes I've ever made.
24:06The cake mix does just kind of like tie it all together.
24:09It almost binds the ice cream with the milk a little better.
24:12So it's not icy at all.
24:13It's just super creamy, perfectly thick.
24:16Cheers, y'all.
24:18We have done it.
24:2013 delicious uses for a box cake mix.
24:24No matter the flavor, you're only one box away from countless possibilities.
24:30Which one of these hacks are you going to try first?
24:33I only want some french fries to dip in that.
