Presumed American nationals who were passengers on the virus-stricken cruise ship disembark in Granadilla de Abona, Spain, as authorities launched a complex repatriation operation. More than 90 people are expected to be evacuated from the Canary Islands following the deadly hantavirus outbreak, which has raised international concern. Three passengers from the MV Hondius have died, while others have fallen ill with the rare disease, typically spread by rodents.
