NCCA kicks off Heritage Month celebration

The National Commission for Culture and the Arts kicked off the celebration of National Heritage Month in Angono, Rizal on Sunday, May 10. The opening festivities featured a torch-lighting ceremony and a parade led by Angono’s iconic ‘Higantes.’ NCCA Chairman Eric Zerrudo said that it is vital to celebrate National Heritage Month as it highlights the resilience deeply embedded in Filipino heritage and gives people a sense of hope.
