To local basketball action, the Maloney Pacers got off to a winning start in division two of the North Zone Basketball Competition. They defeated Bonair Lions 86 to 63 last evening at the Woodbrook Youth Facility. Freedom Leon had a high 27 points while Nkobie Ince supported with 22 points.
