00:09The International Relations Committee of the Cuban Assembly rejects the new US
00:14executive order that intensifies the blockade and poses a military threat to
00:19the island. In an official statement, the National Assembly of Cuba said, we the
00:25members of the International Relations Committee of the National Assembly of
00:30People's Power of the Republic of Cuba reject the new executive order issued by
00:36the President of the United States, which escalates the economic war, whose purpose
00:41is to further escalate illegal and immoral collective punishment of the Cuban
00:46people. The provision once again undermines the sovereignty and self-determination of
00:51our country, while further and extremely internationalizing the blockade by
00:56pressuring and threatening third parties with additional secondary sanctions to
01:01prevent them from conducting commercial financial transactions with Cuba, highlighting

01:13decades were not enough, recent statements by the tenant of the White House escalate
01:18the warmongering by threatening to militarily attack Cuba. Our people will
01:23continue to defend the political system that is sovereignly recognized in the
01:29Constitution, approved in a universal referendum by the overwhelming majority of
01:35the Cuban people. It is an unquestionable decision to continue building a
01:39socialist society that strives to achieve the greatest possible social justice.
01:43UNs have just ratified their support for independence, the socialist revolution, and
01:49the revolutionary government by signing the For the Homeland Petition with over 6 million
01:54signatures, 81% of those aged 16 and older. Stating that Cuba has historically demonstrated
02:00its firm commitment to peace, we ratify the principles of the Proclamation of Latin America
02:05and the Caribbean as a zone of peace signed by the heads of state and government in Havana. On the
02:12occasion
02:12of the summit of the community of Latin American and Caribbean states, held in January 2014, just a few
02:20hours ago, the firm's strife of more than 5 million men and women was held as they filled the streets
02:27and
02:27squares during the accelerations of International Labour Day committed to defending the homeland and its
02:32sovereignty against the enemy that threatens and attacks it. With the Cuban deputies who represent the
02:38people calling parliamentarians around the world to raise their voices to stop the growing military
02:44threat and the economic and energy blockade imposed by the government of the United States against Cuba.

03:02to defend itself and to develop and that solidarity with it cannot be blocked. The final declaration of the
03:09meeting praised the peaceful vocation of the largest of the Antillas, agreed to denounce the escalation of
03:16the current U.S. administration and to step up resistance and support for Cuba in the year of the
