00:04against the nation in its efforts to impose a total blockade on fuel supplies.
00:08The executive order of the U.S. president, announced on January 29th,
00:13declares a so-called national emergency by virtue of which his government may impose trade tariffs
00:20on imports of products from countries that supply oil to Cuba.
00:24With this decision, the United States government threw blackmail, threats,
00:28undided coercion of third countries is attempting to impose additional pressure on the economic suffocation measures
00:34that have been in place since Trump's first term to prevent the entry of fuel into the country.
00:41In turn, President Trump's executive order constitutes a flagrant violation of international law
00:47and undermines the proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as a zone of peace.
00:54The government of Cuba also reaffirms that it is not a threat to any country
00:58as it is a peaceful, solidarity-based and cooperative country
01:03willing to help and contribute to other states.
