00:03Hey, it's People in 10, and no sleep till the Jay-Z concert's over. After over a three-hour
00:09show delay. And they closed all the doors. Somebody rushed the door. Really sorry for
00:14the inconvenience, but I had to make sure everybody was okay. Hova had Beyonce, Usher,
00:19Tiana Taylor, Rihanna, and so many more famous friends hit the stage for the final night of
00:24his anniversary concert series at Yankee Stadium. And the show went on until the wee hours of the
00:34morning, which means some people, Gail King, may have pulled an all-nighter to get to work.
00:40A lot of famous people in the crowd yesterday that showed up because they wanted to support
00:44Jay-Z. How late did you stay out? I'm embarrassed to tell you. 2.17. An insider revealed Gail didn't
00:49even have a nap after the concert. And then went on to work a full day at Oprah Daily, too.
00:54But she's got no regrets because it was an epic night. Ariana Grande never misses a beat,
01:01even when her audio does. Did you hear me of that?
01:05Loud and clear. That was after a tech glitch cut Ari's mic during the Eternal Sunshine tour's first
01:11night in Brooklyn on Monday. But she didn't let it stop her. Just calmly gestured to her team to help,
01:16then turned to the audience to fill in on the vocals.
01:23Thankfully, the mishap didn't last long.
01:31Ever the pro, she thanked fans for their patience and her crew for coming to the rescue.
01:36Okay, we're there. Shall we continue?
01:40And the show went on.
01:43Matt Damon just got the only review that matters. After months of grueling work on The Odyssey,
01:48one of his daughters delivered just five words that he says made it all worth it.
01:52Dad, I'm proud of you. Aww. Now that's a moment to melt a papa's heart. And for the father of
01:58four,
01:58those moments are becoming more precious than ever.
02:01You can't slow time down. The only way to really do it is to really be there and be in
02:06it. Having two
02:07older kids who are out of the nest and knowing how fast these final years go, we're trying to be
02:13mindful of, you know, holding on to what we can. Matt says he and his wife Luciana are facing the
02:19sweet family challenge of trying to enjoy the time they have together before all the kids fly the
02:24coop. And as always, he has his BFF Ben to lean on to. We're at very similar stages with the
02:30kids and
02:31it's definitely a new phase of life. It doesn't take much to get us emotional at this point.
02:36The gang's all here and Adam Levine is showing them off. The Maroon 5 frontman gave his followers
02:42a very rare glimpse into his family of five, including wife Behati Prinsloo, their daughters,
02:48nine-year-old Dusty Rose, and eight-year-old Geo Grace, and their three-year-old son, who shall remain
02:53nameless. Because they're so private, they've never actually shared it publicly. But while Adam
02:58keeps a tight lip about his kids, he's been open about how he's changed since becoming a dad.
03:03And he's also more tired, because yeah, that'll do it to you.
03:07And the tennis might have been world-class, but the fashion was serving aces. Nicole Kidman and
03:13Cynthia Erivo put a tailored twist on the Wimbledon dress code, while Ray kept cool and effortlessly
03:18chic in Ralph Lauren. J-Lo and Tom Hiddleston found themselves sitting stylishly side-by-side
03:23in the royal box, where all eyes were on Princess Kate all tournament long, for her colorful closet.
03:29She dressed the rainbow from breezy cornflower blue and bright cherry red, to elegant sage green
03:35for another year at the men's final. This week, Hollywood said goodbye to a legend, and tributes
03:42continue to pour in for Jurassic Park star Sam Neill after his death at 78. We mentioned Nicole.
03:48She remembered how he took her under his wing when she was just 18 years old, as they made the
03:5380s
03:53thriller Dead Calm. Charming, kind, funny, and intelligent. Henry Golden shared love for his
03:59Assassin Club co-star, while Richard E. Grant described Sam as an officer and a gentleman in
04:04the truest sense. Fellow Jurassic alum Jeff Goldblum also shared a touching message.
04:09The next great adventure begins. Love, always and forever. And Laura Dern's tribute was especially
04:15personal. She called Sam her beloved lifetime friend, before adding, I will love you forever,
04:20Dr. Alan Grant. And so will we. Kim Kardashian is soaking up some quality time on the lake with her
04:28family. And, um, hello, Lewis Hamilton, posing here with Kim's daughter, Chicago. And it looks to me
04:34these vids were taken on the same lake. Cute. The lovebirds were first romantically linked back in
04:39February. And in June, an insider said, they're so chill. It feels like they've been together for
04:44years. Oh, yeah. We're flipping over these two. And Katie Holmes seems to have a new flame in her
04:52life. Stepping out with artist Jason Bard-Yormoski at a screening of The Invite in East Hampton.
04:57We feel a very strong connection with you guys.
05:01They walked into the event hand in hand. And at one point, an onlooker saw Jason whisper in her
05:07ear, causing Katie to laugh. We also hear she had her head on his shoulder during the movie.
05:12And Katie had a smile on her face all night. Love to hear it.
05:17And one Olympic gold medalist is not done yet. Sunni Lee just announced she's back,
05:23returning to gymnastics with her sight set on the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
05:27I know what I'm capable of.
05:33I'm willing to do whatever it takes to get there.
05:36And fans won't just watch the comeback. They'll love it. Because a new documentary from Fnatic
05:41Studios will follow Sunni's journey back to the mat as she chases another Olympic dream with the
05:47support of giants to cheer her on. Now it's to sit down with Kyla Pratt. Hi, Kyla.
05:53The fourth and final season of The Proud Family Louder and Prouder premieres July 29th on Disney+.
05:59This is really big. When you stepped into the booth to record, what was the vibe? Nostalgia,
06:04excitement, or something else entirely?
06:06The vibe when I am stepping in the booth to be Penny Proud is always amazing.
06:11It's complete nostalgia. I was talking to my kids earlier this week about getting older and how you can
06:18still stay a kid inside. And I've had the pleasure of being able to do that, especially just energy-wise,
06:26but also to have something like The Proud Family to connect me to my younger self.
06:31So for me, every time I step in the booth, it's just like, it just feels amazing. But then once
06:36you
06:36realize, like, you know, these things don't last forever, it's kind of like, you take it in a little
06:40bit more. Morning, family. The first season premiered 25 years ago. So this has been a part of your life
06:48for a long time. What has been the most surprising part about saying goodbye? Luckily, I'm the type of
06:53person, I find the good in everything. I understand that I have been very blessed and fortunate to
07:00be a part of something like The Proud Family and not only be a part of it, but be able
07:06to
07:07revive it and live it a decade later. You know, not a lot of artists get to experience playing a
07:14character that they started when they were 14.
07:17It's Penny Proud, y'all!
07:19You know, filming this show when I was a teenager, I didn't like my voice. I was like, how am
07:24I
07:25auditioning for a voiceover? How is this happening? And I was like, I'm gonna get fired. Like,
07:31they're not gonna like this. But you know, we're our own biggest critics.
07:35Got to talk about the guest stars this season. They are epic. Mariah Carey, Chloe Bailey,
07:40Ali Wong. Who are you most excited for?
07:43We record and every time I walk in, they're like, yeah, you know, we got so-and-so for this
07:46episode.
07:47And I'm like, what? Like, how did you do that? Having people return like Leslie Odom and Chloe
07:55Bailey just being like this sweetheart that she is and a legend like Mariah Carey. Like,
08:00we already have a cast of like absolute legends in my eyes. So just to add more to it is
08:06like,
08:06I can't wait for you to see the craziness that these people bring.
08:11Being a Disney alum is such a unique experience. Only a select group of actors can relate to that.
08:16Who have you connected with the most to share stories, maybe even swap advice?
08:20When I think of Disney, I think of Raven Simone. Was fortunate enough to be her sister
08:26in Dr. Doolittle. And for me, Raven was the face of Disney. Like, I was a cartoon character and I
08:34had
08:34maybe the voice. But for me, you know, seeing a young Black woman navigate that space and become
08:42a director and producer and writer, I would say we have an unspoken bond. So whenever I see her or
08:49or see her doing anything, I support it. And I'm just happy that, you know, she's living how she's living,
08:55you know? Black representation matters, period. And the Prow family really pioneered Black representation
09:01in animation. Now that you have kids of your own, how much more meaningful does this all feel?
09:06Oh, I think Black representation is everything. I'm a strong advocate for mental health. And I believe
09:11once you're able to see yourself, you're able to feel not alone. And a lot of times, our stories
09:17weren't meant to be told. Back in the day, it was like, hey, blonde hair, blue eyes, that's what's
09:22beautiful. And if that's all you saw, you know, of course, you're gonna compare yourself to that.
09:26But when you are able to grow up and see characters who look like you or characters who've
09:32been through similar things or have similar dynamics or use the same lingo, it's enough to
09:38make you feel like, okay, I'm not alone in this world. My daughters, I'm just really big on their
09:43mental health. I'm really big on them understanding that, you know, society is going to move a certain
09:48way. And that's, and sometimes that may not be for you. And it's okay. Just reminding them every day,
09:54like, hey, everything you see is not for real. People are going to doubt you, especially with who you are,
10:00with where you come from, with the way you look, the color of your skin, your gender.
10:04Um, you know, it's, it's okay for people to doubt you. You just show them how you, how you get
10:10it,
10:10how you get it done, you know? Okay, to finish, we're going to put 10 seconds on the clock.
10:14Tell everyone why they should watch The Proud Family louder and prouder. Ready? Go.
10:19It is everything that you think it is going to be. It is going to be loud. It's going to
10:23be proud.
10:24It's going to be crazy. It's going to be fun. It's going to be heartwarming. We might be done,
10:28but there's more to come.
