00:00Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is known for losing his cool.
00:03In fact, a couple of times over the last year, he's gotten into verbal arguments with reporters.
00:08How would they know me? Okay, think about that. Do you honestly believe that's credible?
00:12So this is 20, 2006?
00:14The first statement was made many years ago, 2003.
00:16How the hell am I supposed to know every single statement somebody makes?
00:19I am not going to bow down to the altar of political correctness.
00:23Now, a 2018 debate prep session has been posted on Twitter by ABC News,
00:27revealing DeSantis' advisor told him to write likeable in all caps at the top of his debate notes,
00:33all because of his quick temper and condescending and aggressive demeanor.
00:37In the video, you can hear DeSantis' advisor say from offscreen, quote,
00:41you want to have that likeable dismissive tone and not condescending, adding,
00:45when you walk up there, you have a pad. You have to write in all caps at the top of
00:48the pad,
00:49likeable. The topic then moves to Donald Trump and how they should tread the waters of issues
00:53the two politicians disagree on. The now Florida governor mulls this over.
00:57Seemingly stumped by how to frame it as he explains he didn't even vote for Trump during
01:01the primaries, with DeSantis saying, quote, I have to frame it in a way that's not going
01:05to piss off all of Trump's voters. He eventually decides to tell them he would do what he believes
01:09to be right and support Trump's agenda, as supporting Trump in 2018 was very much
01:14the popular thing to do for Republicans at the time.
