“And I helped!” If you remember this iconic line, you may have grown up in the 90s with this classic Shake ’n Bake recipe. In this video, Nicole throws it back to her childhood and shows you how to make Shake and Bake pork chops. Serve up these lightly breaded chops with the ultimate 90s sides: green peas and mashed potatoes with gravy.

00:00We are cooking like the 90s.
00:01Is it shake and bake?
00:02And I helped.
00:03All of a sudden this feels very unhinged.
00:05Starts with dried breadcrumbs,
00:07and then you go in with oil.
00:08This might sound weird,
00:09but it's gonna help everything stick.
00:11In goes some salt, and then paprika.
00:13This is gonna help give it that good color.
00:15Celery salt, garlic salt, dried garlic,
00:18dried onions, parsley, oregano, and basil.
00:21Add your shake and bake to a bag.
00:23Then in goes our pork chops.
00:25Shake and bake.
00:27Lightly breaded pork chop.
00:29Shake and bake says you just put it on the pan and bake it.
00:32All of a sudden this feels very unhinged
00:34to not grease this pan or put some parchment down.
00:38But we are cooking like the 90s,
00:39so into the oven we go 400 degrees for like 15 to 20 minutes.
00:43Look at our shake and bake pork chops.
00:45I'm also about to serve these up 90s style.
00:48The shake and bake isn't as crunchy as I remember.
00:51And it's cooked perfectly though.
00:54That is a really good recipe.

00:57People say they can't cook pork chops,
00:59because they always dry out.
