00:00:08Lo in heaven, Jesus sitting.

00:00:13Christ the Lord is there in throne.

00:00:16Lord, as the Son of Man, you have received the kingdom.

00:00:20And you are preparing to bring the kingdom to the earth.

00:00:25Tonight we join with you to pray, your kingdom come.

00:00:32May the kingdom come in glorious manifestation on the earth.

00:00:37Lord, give us a heart for this.

00:00:40A spirit for this.

00:00:42A burden for this.

00:00:44We live to this.

00:00:46Lord, tonight give us a taste of the power of the coming age.

00:00:51Lord, bind your enemy.

00:00:54Bind him with your authority.

00:00:57Give him a taste of that millennial binding.

00:01:01And his final destruction in the lake of fire.

00:01:05Lord, your kingdom come.

00:01:08You came the first time in lowliness.

00:01:12But you will come again in splendor and glory.

00:01:16Lord, grant us the grace to be the overcomers.

00:02:12The book of Daniel is structured in two main parts.

00:02:17The first six chapters mainly record the victory of the young overcomers over Satan's devices

00:02:29to damage them, to frustrate their prayer, even to terminate them.

00:02:37And in this section, in chapter two, we have the governing and controlling vision of the entire book of Daniel.

00:02:48The vision of the great human image, from the golden head, to the legs of iron, and the feet and

00:02:58toes partly of iron and partly of clay.

00:03:02A vision of the stone cut out without hands, cut out by God in a crucifixion and resurrection.

00:03:12And that stone smashes this human image from the toes to the head.

00:03:19Amen.

00:03:20All of human government is destroyed, becomes like the chaff on the threshing floor, and is blown away by the

00:03:28wind.

00:03:29And instead of idolatrous, rebellious, God-despising human government, there will be a mountain filling the whole earth, which is

00:03:41the eternal kingdom of God.

00:03:44Amen.

00:03:45Now we turn to the second section of Daniel, chapter seven through twelve.

00:03:54And this section is devoted to the visions of the overcoming Daniel.

00:04:01Daniel.

00:04:03And the title of the message tonight is the vision of God and his universal dominion and of the coming

00:04:14of the Son of Man, Christ, to receive the kingdom.

00:04:22I could not be here, of course, for the last two messages on Daniel.

00:04:27Daniel.

00:04:28Daniel'snote book today.

00:04:29The outlines were emailed to me.

00:04:32I enjoyed them.

00:04:33I appreciated them.

00:04:35It's a real service rendered to you by our a brother.

00:04:40But you could have such outlines, presenting the crucial matters of God's economy in this book.

00:04:49the crucial function of the overcomers

00:04:53and of their consistent overcoming

00:04:56of all the devices of Satan.

00:05:00And messages such as this should evoke in us

00:05:04the aspiration, the desire, the longing,

00:05:10even the determination

00:05:12to be among today's overcomers,

00:05:17overcoming Satan's present devices

00:05:20against God's economy,

00:05:23that through us as the dispensational instrument

00:05:28the age may be turned

00:05:30from the age of grace,

00:05:33the age of the church,

00:05:35the age of mystery,

00:05:37to the age of the kingdom,

00:05:40the age of righteousness.

00:05:43With those messages

00:05:45and with those outlines

00:05:47there is no flaw,

00:05:51no shortage.

00:05:53But with us,

00:05:55in listening to the Word

00:05:58and in appropriating

00:06:01the divine revelations in the Word,

00:06:06there is an innate shortcoming

00:06:09which we all have

00:06:11due to our fallen condition,

00:06:15due to our natural life,

00:06:20and due to our preoccupation

00:06:23with ourself and the things

00:06:26related to ourself.

00:06:29And the reason I mention this is

00:06:32that tonight's message

00:06:36and the following messages

00:06:39are in another dimension.

00:06:44If we are self-preoccupied,

00:06:48even absorbed

00:06:50with becoming overcomers personally,

00:06:54that preoccupation

00:06:58and that absorption

00:06:59may become a veil

00:07:02hindering us

00:07:03from seeing something

00:07:04of tremendous significance

00:07:07and magnitude.

00:07:10The vision shown to Daniel

00:07:13in chapter 7

00:07:14was not about Daniel's

00:07:17personal spirituality.

00:07:19It was not given

00:07:21for Daniel's

00:07:22individual benefit.

00:07:26It was given to Daniel

00:07:28by God

00:07:29and his sovereignty

00:07:30because on Daniel's side

00:07:33he cared

00:07:35for God

00:07:37and for the destiny

00:07:39of God's people.

00:07:40He cared for God's kingdom,

00:07:43for God's city,

00:07:45for God's administration.

00:07:48And God also

00:07:50had a need

00:07:51to release

00:07:53what is in him

00:07:55by way of a vision

00:07:58so that

00:07:59the God-men

00:08:00on the earth

00:08:01could see it,

00:08:04embrace it,

00:08:06be constituted with it,

00:08:08agree with it,

00:08:10pray according to it,

00:08:12live it,

00:08:13fight for it,

00:08:14and consummate it.

00:08:19We had occasion

00:08:20to remark

00:08:23during other

00:08:24ministry meetings

00:08:26that there's a principle

00:08:28in the book of Amos

00:08:30chapter 3.

00:08:32It might be around

00:08:33verse 7 or 8.

00:08:35And that principle is

00:08:37according to that verse,

00:08:40surely the Lord God

00:08:42does nothing

00:08:44unless He reveal it

00:08:47to His servants,

00:08:49the prophets.

00:08:51So what the Lord

00:08:52desires to do,

00:08:54in this case,

00:08:56bring the kingdom

00:08:57to earth,

00:08:59destroy all human government,

00:09:02and establish

00:09:03the glorious dominion

00:09:05of God

00:09:05on the earth,

00:09:08He first reveals it

00:09:10to the prophets,

00:09:13to the seers

00:09:14of the divine revelation.

00:09:16Just as He revealed

00:09:18to Daniel

00:09:19that the captivity

00:09:21of God's people

00:09:22would be 70 years

00:09:24in duration,

00:09:26Daniel read that,

00:09:29calculated the time,

00:09:30and prayed desperately

00:09:33for that prophetic word

00:09:35to be fulfilled.

00:09:37The principle

00:09:38is the same

00:09:39with the visions

00:09:41of the overcoming Daniel

00:09:42and with all the visions

00:09:45in the book

00:09:45of Revelation.

00:09:46They're not given

00:09:48to satisfy

00:09:50our curiosity

00:09:51about things

00:09:53at the end.

00:09:54They're given

00:09:57primarily

00:10:01so that

00:10:02God's seekers

00:10:04will know

00:10:07what our God

00:10:08desires to do

00:10:10and intends

00:10:12to do

00:10:12so that we,

00:10:15according to

00:10:16the principle

00:10:17of prayer,

00:10:18would agree

00:10:19with Him,

00:10:21stand with Him,

00:10:22and pray

00:10:23for the very

00:10:24thing

00:10:25that the Lord

00:10:27revealed.

00:10:29The Lord knows

00:10:32that

00:10:33in the last days,

00:10:35several days,

00:10:36especially today,

00:10:38in my heart,

00:10:40I've had this longing

00:10:43that He would

00:10:44grace us tonight

00:10:45that for the next

00:10:48period of time,

00:10:49say from now

00:10:49until about

00:10:50nine o'clock,

00:10:52we would have

00:10:54the supply

00:10:54not to be

00:10:56thinking about

00:10:57ourselves,

00:10:58about our

00:11:00situation,

00:11:01about any

00:11:02problems,

00:11:03about the

00:11:04situation

00:11:05in the Lord's

00:11:06recovery.

00:11:07May we receive

00:11:09a particular

00:11:10supply of life

00:11:11to dive

00:11:13into the

00:11:14mingled spirit

00:11:15and by being

00:11:16and by being in

00:11:17the mingled

00:11:17spirit to be

00:11:18uplifted

00:11:20beyond the

00:11:21physical realm,

00:11:22even beyond

00:11:23space and

00:11:24time,

00:11:25to at least

00:11:26have a glimpse

00:11:29of what is

00:11:30unveiled

00:11:32in chapter

00:11:33seven of

00:11:34Daniel.

00:11:36Daniel.

00:11:36And although

00:11:37time is

00:11:38limited,

00:11:40I feel

00:11:42priority

00:11:42should be

00:11:43given

00:11:44to the

00:11:45written

00:11:46word of

00:11:46God

00:11:47itself.

00:11:48And I

00:11:49would like

00:11:50to read

00:11:50to you

00:11:51Daniel

00:11:52seven

00:11:53verses

00:11:54one

00:11:54through

00:11:55twenty

00:11:55seven.

00:11:56If you

00:12:19spirit.

00:12:21So let

00:12:21me read

00:12:22to you.

00:12:23In the

00:12:24first year

00:12:25of

00:12:25Belshazzar,

00:12:26the king

00:12:27of Babylon,

00:12:28Daniel

00:12:29saw a

00:12:30dream

00:12:31and

00:12:32visions

00:12:32of his

00:12:33head

00:12:33upon

00:12:34his

00:12:34bed.

00:12:36Then he

00:12:36wrote

00:12:37down

00:12:37the

00:12:37dream.

00:12:38He

00:12:39related

00:12:40the

00:12:40sum

00:12:40of

00:12:41the

00:12:41matters.

00:12:42Daniel

00:12:43responded

00:12:44and said,

00:12:45I was

00:12:46watching

00:12:46in my

00:12:47vision

00:12:47by

00:12:48night,

00:12:49and

00:12:49there

00:12:50were

00:12:50the

00:12:50four

00:12:50winds

00:12:51of

00:12:51heaven

00:12:51stirring

00:12:52up

00:12:53the

00:12:53great

00:12:53sea,

00:12:55and

00:12:55four

00:12:55great

00:12:56beasts

00:12:57came

00:12:57up

00:12:58from

00:12:58the

00:12:59sea,

00:12:59each

00:13:00different

00:13:00from

00:13:01the

00:13:01other.

00:13:02The

00:13:02first

00:13:03was

00:13:03like

00:13:03a

00:13:03lion

00:13:04and

00:13:04had

00:13:04the

00:13:05wings

00:13:05of

00:13:05an

00:13:05eagle.

00:13:07I

00:13:07watched

00:13:08until

00:13:08its

00:13:08wings

00:13:09were

00:13:09plucked,

00:13:10and

00:13:11it

00:13:11was

00:13:11lifted

00:13:11up

00:13:12from

00:13:12the

00:13:12earth

00:13:12and

00:13:12made

00:13:13to

00:13:13stand

00:13:13on

00:13:13two

00:13:14feet

00:13:14like

00:13:14a

00:13:14man,

00:13:16and

00:13:16a

00:13:16man's

00:13:17heart

00:13:17was

00:13:18given

00:13:18to

00:13:18it.

00:13:19And

00:13:20there

00:13:20was

00:13:20another

00:13:21beast,

00:13:21a

00:13:21second

00:13:22one

00:13:23resembling

00:13:24a

00:13:24bear,

00:13:24and

00:13:25it

00:13:26was

00:13:26raised

00:13:26up

00:13:26on

00:13:27one

00:13:27side,

00:13:28and

00:13:29three

00:13:29ribs

00:13:29were

00:13:30in

00:13:30its

00:13:30mouth

00:13:30between

00:13:31its

00:13:31teeth,

00:13:32and

00:13:32they

00:13:33said

00:13:33thus

00:13:33to

00:13:34it,

00:13:35arise,

00:13:35devour

00:13:36much

00:13:36flesh.

00:13:38After

00:13:39this

00:13:39I

00:13:39watched,

00:13:40and

00:13:40there

00:13:40was

00:13:40another

00:13:41beast

00:13:41like

00:13:41a

00:13:41leopard,

00:13:43and

00:13:43it

00:13:43had

00:13:43four

00:13:44wings

00:13:44of

00:13:45a

00:13:45bird

00:13:45on

00:13:45its

00:13:46back,

00:13:46and

00:13:47the

00:13:47beast

00:13:48had

00:13:48four

00:13:48heads,

00:13:49dominion

00:13:49was

00:13:50given

00:13:50to

00:13:50it.

00:13:51After

00:13:52this

00:13:52I

00:13:53watched

00:13:53in

00:13:53the

00:13:54night

00:13:54vision,

00:13:55and

00:13:55there

00:13:55was

00:13:55a

00:13:56fourth

00:13:56beast,

00:13:57dreadful

00:13:58and

00:13:58frightful

00:13:59and

00:13:59exceedingly

00:14:00strong,

00:14:01and

00:14:02it

00:14:02had

00:14:02large

00:14:03iron

00:14:03teeth.

00:14:04It

00:14:05devoured

00:14:06crushed

00:14:07trampled

00:14:08the

00:14:08remainder
