00:07Then, now, forever, together.
00:40Here at the Performance Center, there is excitement in the air, as LFG Season 2 winner Shiloh
00:46Hill prepares to make his much-anticipated NXT debut.
00:50I've got all this pent-up energy, and now I get to unleash that.
00:53It's time to show the world why no one sleeps on Shiloh Hill.
00:59Living in the snow, missing teeth, growing up, dark web details, I mean Shiloh Hill, a different
01:05breed of individual.
01:12Swing and a miss, going up, and oh, a little whisper to the beast from Shiloh Hill, who's
01:19victorious.
01:21Here is your winner, Shiloh Hill!
01:26And what a debut for The Undertaker's prized pupil from Legends and Future Greats.
01:35That's nuts.
01:38Feels great, man.
01:39Feels great.
01:40New chapter for sure.
01:42Just excited to get writing.
01:44That crowd has been here the whole time, so to be able to, like, kind of share that experience
01:48with them is such a bust and so cool.
01:58We're all here to be decent.
02:00We're here to be great.
02:00When the bell rings, it's not about being nice anymore.
02:03If I was Shawn Michaels, you guys would be on NXT tomorrow.
02:06It has to happen now.
02:08You don't have to wait to see who gets called up.
02:10They can go at any time.
02:12The future is indeed now, here on LFG.
02:23Good seeing you all again.
02:24It was a great first week.
02:26Today, we will have Carly Bright.
02:29Maddie will be working with Carly.
02:32Carly Bright, been here for a bit.
02:35The art of selling is going to be a big thing for her.
02:37She's tiny.
02:39She doesn't do a great job of looking like she's throwing her whole body into it.
02:43Yeah, she needs to lean into her physicality.
02:44Absolutely.
02:45Absolutely.
02:48KO, you'll be working with Layla Diggs.
02:50She came to us a few weeks ago, so she wanted to try some heel work.
02:54So this is one of her first matches working as a heel.
02:57So what better person to put her with than heel KO?
03:01What are you implying?
03:03That you're a heel.
03:05Our second match, we'll have Harley Riggins and Jax Presley.
03:09Booker, you'll be working with them.
03:12Against Harlem Lewis and Mike Derruder.
03:16KO, you'll be working with them as well.
03:18Okay.
03:18The biggest thing I want to see out of this match is proper tag team psychology.
03:23I don't want to see four individual matches.
03:25And I'd love to see our heels cutting the ring off, making the baby face, fight to get the tag.
03:30KO, Harlem, and Mike.
03:32This will be one of their first tag matches.
03:35Mike would want to see if he can lean into some physical ground and pound style work.
03:41I think that plays into Harlem's move set as well.
03:45So I think you'll enjoy working with both these guys today.
03:48A big thing for Harley and Jax is less is more.
03:51They don't have to do a hundred moves.
03:56They think action is going to get the reaction and not understanding that emotion is what gets the reaction and
04:03the connection.
04:04Testify.
04:06Finally, our main event, Drake Moreau working with Bubba and Booker.
04:12You'll have Nathan Cranton.
04:14Nathan Cranton.
04:15Nathan Cranton.
04:15Is this the kid from England?
04:17This is the kid from England.
04:19What do we know about this kid?
04:21So he's been here for a very short time.
04:23He is a reality star from England who loves the business.
04:30So Nathan has this charisma and this character down, but we have yet to see him be a badass.
04:37Make me scared of you.
04:38Are you sure that being scared of this guy is possible?
04:42I think if anyone can pull it out of him, Booker T can.
04:47I mean, Book is a magician.
04:49I'm a scary cat.
04:52Drake Moreau.
04:53We all know him.
04:55Getting a big opportunity right now.
04:57We all see something and have seen something.
05:01I mean, if he doesn't have the match that we need to see from him tonight,
05:08is he getting another chance?
05:11I don't think so.
05:12It's sink or swim time for Drake Moreau.
05:14Wow.
05:25You know, I've been here three years now.
05:31You know, you sit back here for three years and that just weighs on your mind
05:34and you don't know what's going to happen next.
05:37Hello.
05:38How are we doing?
05:38How are you?
05:39Wonderful.
05:41Sitting in the back and seeing all your friends that you signed with,
05:44you know, getting all these big opportunities.
05:46And I'm so happy for them.
05:49I'm a proud friend.
05:52But I'm just wondering, when's it going to be my turn to get an opportunity?
05:56When am I going to get the chance to show out?
06:00You start thinking about your contract deadlines and, hey, my contract's coming up.
06:05Like, you just dread that phone call from Shawn Michaels
06:08and don't want to get called into his office and be let go, you know?
06:11So, that's where I'm at right now.
06:21My name is Layla Diggs and I am from Fresno, California.
06:25I started doing track, got a scholarship, went to Fresno State.
06:30I've been at the Performance Center about two years now.
06:34I've now started making my own gear.
06:36I made my entrance robe.
06:37I made this outfit.
06:38I make clothes.
06:39The first time I ever left home was to move for this.
06:42Oh, wow.
06:42So, being so far away from home and then learning a whole new world,
06:46it took a while to, like, adjust to it.
06:47But now, it's just one of the greatest feelings is when the crowd is into it,
06:52bouncing off of them, giving them the energy.
06:54I think it's awesome.
06:56So, after talking to Matt, he mentioned that he had some interest in seeing you work as a heel.
07:01I don't think you've done that much.
07:03No, not much.
07:04Not that much experience.
07:05Some people confuse being a heel with being less good, like, less interesting.
07:10I don't have that vision.
07:12I just think it's all about how you react to what you're doing.
07:15Mm-hmm.
07:16I don't want you to, like, dumb down your skills.
07:19Just be super expressive about how good you are.
07:23Okay.
07:24You know what I mean?
07:24Yeah.
07:24I think that's a pretty easy concept to start with.
07:27Yeah.
07:28So, how long have you been actually wrestling here?
07:30I've been here three years.
07:32Three years.
07:32Okay.
07:33I need to step up my game.
07:34Yeah.
07:35You're the boat.
07:36Yeah.
07:36When I saw your name, I was like, she's the girl I need.
07:40Hi.
07:40My name's Carly Wright, and I am from Kenosha, Wisconsin.
07:44I was a gymnast for ten years, and then I started cheerleading.
07:48I found myself at the University of Minnesota, and I cheered there for four years.
07:52And that led me all the way here.
07:55I'm just watching people that come in almost after me, like, pass me by.
07:59Right.
07:59So, I'm very, don't step on anybody's toes.
08:01Like, my time will come, but I'm kind of ready to be selfish.
08:04Yeah, I think you should be selfish.
08:06Yes.
08:06And I think you go into this with a story in your mind.
08:08I'm just making this up, but she, you heard the things that she said about you in the locker room.
08:12Yep.
08:12She said that you're a pushover, you're a doormat, and you don't belong here.
08:16Put that...
08:16This is getting me heated up right now.
08:17I'm like, I'm feeling it now.
08:20Put that in your head.
08:21Yes.
08:22So that when you start your comeback, it's like...
08:24I see red.
08:25Yeah.
08:26You know what I mean?
08:27Yes, 100%.
08:29I love this already.
08:30Like, like, like, like, her.
08:32Yes.
08:32When I work with new talent, I say, ask yourself this.
08:35Why would somebody part with their money to watch me?
08:37The biggest thing is being relatable in a way that the audience can connect with you emotionally.
08:43I would also try to just put a little vocal into it.
08:46Cool.
08:47Bring some vocals.
08:48Yes.
08:48People resonate with aggression, but then throw some sound into it.
08:52Carly Bright is another amazing athlete.
08:55She can do almost anything.
08:58But the key to this is connection.
09:00Can she connect and tell a story?
09:03Good afternoon, Performance Center!
09:06Yeah!
09:07Yeah!
09:07We're getting ready for season three of L.F.G.
09:12Talk about nothing.
09:14Bye.
09:15Bye.
09:16Bye.
09:16Bye.
09:18Bye.
09:19Bye.
09:20Bye.
09:20Bye.
09:21Bye.
09:21Bye.
09:22Bye.
09:22Bye.
09:23Bye.
09:29Bye.
09:36Starry Bright and this is Charlie Bright.
09:40It's hard not to smile when you see?
09:43Karly Bright.
09:44The energy is just so infectious.
09:47Karly Bright in the ring.
09:49In the world, buried cheerleading, but yes, she's been able to transfer that energy, that excitement,
09:54that athleticism into something good here at the份 industry.
10:09And her own, from Fresno, California, Layla Diggs.
10:17Layla Diggs takes on Carly Bright for the first time ever on LFG.
10:29JB, look who's joining us.
10:34Natalya, the boat, one of the greatest women to ever step into a ring.
10:39Someone who's competed at WrestleMania, someone who has won championships on any brand you
10:45can imagine.
10:46She's here watching this matchup, obviously has had the ears of both these competitors.
10:50Well, we've not only got Natalya, but Kevin Owens as well.
10:54I mean, stars of WrestleMania here, coaching these talent on the bigger and better things
10:59in their career.
11:00Right away, Carly Bright and Layla Diggs, showing what they can do.
11:10And you just heard what Carly said, hey, do you want that contract?
11:13That is what is the most unique thing about this season of LFG, is all these athletes know
11:20that we don't have to wait to the end of the year.
11:22You don't have to go through the trials and tribulations.
11:24If you come out, you make a mark, you're able to make an impact.
11:28That is all you need to change your life in an instant, courtesy of Shawn Michaels.
11:33Into the cover and a kick out, almost a quick victory here for Carly Bright.
11:42You know, every woman in the Performance Center locker room competing here on LFG saw what
11:48happened to Kendall Gray at the end of show one last week, where her life changed instantly.
11:55Coming back from the curtain from our match with PJ Vassa, Shawn Michaels delivers the news.
11:59That is the kind of opportunity that is afforded you here on Allegiance and Future Greats.
12:04And you also get the opportunity to be kicked right in the stomach.
12:07And that's the unique thing about LFG.
12:09LFG really gives you the ability to springboard into that next step of your career, that next
12:15evolution, so to speak.
12:17And all the athletes here, you can feel the sense of emotion from them that they know they're three,
12:25four, five, six, seven minutes away from maybe changing their life.
12:28And we've already heard Carly Bright say in this match-up, talking about the contract,
12:32you know it's on the mind of every man and every woman.
12:40Carly's doing a good job selling.
12:41She's doing a good job selling.
12:44She's little.
12:44She's got you.
12:45Yeah.
12:46She's moving around too.
12:47She's also just dying.
12:51With Kevin Owens watching, Natalya watching, you know they're going to be giving full reports
12:56back to Shawn Michaels about how they perform, their possibilities as a talent, as a competitor.
13:02And can they climb the ranks all the way to NXT?
13:08That's what's interesting about all this is Carly Bright can find herself in the main event
13:12next week.
13:13Jackson Hartley could find themselves in a tag team match next week.
13:17That is what is so special about legends and future greats is anything can happen.
13:23And as we've talked about all year on NXT, along with Booker T, there's so much opportunity
13:29around the WWE.
13:31The opportunity is here for these women right now in another near fall.
13:35Good kick out.
13:36Yeah, I did.
13:37Me too.
13:38I thought that was it.
13:39We've seen it now over the course of these previous two seasons.
13:42It's not just rhetoric.
13:43It's not just talk.
13:44The proof is in the fact that Jasper Troy has now held championships in NXT.
13:49We've seen what Shiloh Hill has done.
13:51The talent that has emerged from this program has gone on to do bigger and better things.
13:56And they know it's not just hyperbole.
13:58They can see it.
13:59And it's now in their grasp.
14:00And that's what Layla Diggs is trying to do here with Carly Bright.
14:03Well, Diggs able to counter for a moment.
14:06And while both these women now perched in a precarious position.
14:12Bright trying to fight, create a little bit of separation.
14:14She has for a moment at least, JB.
14:17And we'll see those three years she's been in the performance center.
14:20Looking for a high risk.
14:22Will it be a high reward?
14:23High crossbody.
14:24Diggs rolls through.
14:25Oh.
14:28I bet on that again.
14:29Me too.
14:31When you see both of our guests sitting on the edge of their seats.
14:36Big kick though, connected.
14:38Execution-wise, they're really good.
14:40They're both, you know, I guess they're young, which helps.
14:44But they're really good athletes.
14:46And they're, like, everything they're doing looks great.
14:48Especially, I said to Carly, I said, at the finish, you need to be your best.
14:52You can't be weak there.
14:54And that's what's special about the performance center and all the coaches led by Matt Bloom
14:59being able to take athletes and take them and put them in a ring and put them through training
15:04and just see how quickly they can pick up on a brand new industry and lifestyle.
15:09And what a move out of nowhere for Carly Bright.
15:14Here is your winner, Carly Ray.
15:19Very good?
15:20Yeah, they did awesome.
15:29You didn't?
15:30I feel good.
15:31I just wish I was more in the moment throughout the match.
15:36You didn't look not in the moment.
15:37Oh.
15:38It might have felt that way, but everything you guys were doing had a lot of energy,
15:42and you seemed totally committed to it.
15:44And you're a good heel.
15:45Yeah.
15:45You really are, yeah.
15:46Like you're, it's cool too when you're a heel and you're like obviously like a cocky,
15:51arrogant heel, but you can back up everything you're doing.
15:55What's your advice on selling on the backpack?
15:59So like, I think towards the end, obviously in theory, you should at, you should get your lowest
16:03point, but you need energy to get to the next part and to keep the fans engaged, right?
16:08Just don't ignore anything that's happened to you.
16:10You know, like if you're back on top and you hit it with a clothesline,
16:13just like one of these for a second.
16:15And then you, you know what I mean?
16:17It's almost like a roller coaster to sell.
16:20So he was really happy with my performance,
16:22which means a lot because if I think it's bad, but right here, this man is telling me it's good.
16:26He's been at WrestleMania.
16:27He's done all these things and I need to trust him and believe I am doing something right.
16:33You know what I love? There was a moment at the very end, you snatched their head.
16:40Like, like it signified like, no, I'm in control. Like you really came alive for your comeback.
16:47I felt something different from you inside. I really felt, I felt it like, and you keep channeling
16:52that like next, like, like next time you work another match, 1% more over time, 1% every other
16:57match. Next thing you know, you'll be 50% better. Right. Yeah. So good. Thank you. So, so, so good.
17:03I felt on cloud nine, like statement made. I'm not going to be a pushover. I'm doing this for me.
17:09I'm going to be selfish and I don't want to just be good enough. I'm here to be great. And
17:14that's
17:15exactly what I'm going to be. Next up, Harlem Lewis and Mike DeRuiter against Harley Riggins and Jax
17:22Presley in our first tag team matchup of the season. Hi boys. Everything starts tonight.
17:32Here at the performance center are two good friends ready to showcase how good they work
17:37as a tag team. Yeah, baby. My name is Jax Presley. I'm from Middletown, Maryland.
17:44I'm Harley Riggins. I'm the baddest SOB from CLE man. I've played four years of college football at
17:50Harvard and then continue playing college football at McNeese State. Number one in the country in
17:55tackles and in sportsmanlike conducts. I have a mentally handicapped sister. And after seeing
18:00people bully my sister, a switch flipped inside me, I don't take that anymore.
18:05A year in, you know, I feel pretty comfortable. My ultimate goal is to be phenomenal. I want to
18:12be the greatest of all time. My goals are to kick ass, take names, and rise up. You know what
18:18I mean?
18:18I just want to wrestle, man. I love it. What's up, Booker? How you doing, man? Ball players?
18:23Hell yeah.
18:24Yeah. How long have y'all been here now?
18:26Been here all over a year. Just over a year.
18:28Playbook is very, very important, especially from a tag team perspective.
18:32Yeah. Just like when you play football, you know, everything is fricking X's and O's.
18:36You know, so for me and my brother, my brother might tag me in and I'll point to that rope
18:41just so my
18:42brother can shoot him in and I'll go over here, bang, just to catch him. It'll look like a plane,
18:46opposed to two guys in the ring wrestling. So let's work. Let's go to work.
18:51From a fresh new duo to another fired up tag team.
18:58With one future great making an LFG return.
19:03My name is Harlem Lewis. I'm from Lindenhurst, New York. I was a runner up on LFG. Congratulations.
19:12Thank you very much. Right after LFG season two ended, I went over to Japan
19:17to wrestle for pro wrestling, Noah, for a little over a month. It just gave me a whole new insight
19:22to pro wrestling and to what I need to do to be successful. My name is Mike Derrider
19:29and I'm from Belgium. My father was a pro wrestler, so I'm a second generation pro wrestler.
19:35I'm unique with my size, the way I move. I wrestled all around the world proving myself among the best.
19:45So I don't think you guys have teamed too often, right?
19:48Just practice matches here and there a couple of times trying to figure each other out.
19:51Okay. He came here when I was in Japan and they were like, you guys kind of like look alike.
19:54Like we wore a similar gear and stuff. And when I got back, we had a match against each other.
19:58It was like really fun that we had good chemistry against each other.
20:00Do you guys like feel like there's something, you know what I mean? Like together? Yes.
20:05Yeah. I think we have really good chemistry. I'm excited for today to like finally showcase it.
20:10At least appreciate each other or like each other well enough. It's a good start.
20:14There you go.
20:21Those are four big personalities.
20:27Tonight, I'm hoping that I get to see them all shine in their own way.
20:31But a tag team match is a totally different story than a singles match.
20:36All right, boys. Everything starts tonight. Let's go out there and work together.
20:41You feel me? All right? Let's get this day.
20:48We are set for the first tag team match this season on LFG.
20:54The following contest is a tag team match scheduled for one fall.
20:59Introducing first the team of Jax Presley and Harley Riggins.
21:06Well, these two have quite the reputation, JB. They do not want to be liked. They do not care
21:11what people think. They are rough. They are rugged. Not just around the edges, but in the ring.
21:16That's Jax Presley up on the ropes. Harley Riggins, his tag team partner, looking to make an
21:21impact here on LFG. And our first tag team match of the season. Here we go.
21:27Looking forward to seeing it, guys. All right. Be safe. Have fun.
21:31All right, boys.
21:41And their opponents, the team of Mike Garuda and Harlow Lewis.
21:50You worked with Harlow last season? Yeah, I worked with Harlow, man.
21:54He was runner up for season two. Okay.
21:55You could have won it. He was the best talent in the whole thing. He really was.
22:00And he's got an attitude that you really want to have on your team.
22:06I mean, he's hardcore, like, give to him. He want to be the guy.
22:11Yeah. Whatever he needs to be the guy. That's what I like about him.
22:14Yeah, man.
22:17Well, you know, Booker's had a lot of success here on LFG. Jasper Troy from season one.
22:22Obviously, Harlow from season two. You heard what he thought he had to say. But look,
22:25he did not win. Shiloh Hill won season two. We're here in season three. And you said it last week,
22:31he said it more than once. We don't have to wait to the end of the year to find out
22:35if you're going
22:36to be on NXT. These athletes don't have to wait to the end of the year to see if they
22:41have to win.
22:41I mean, I'm excited about it because at any moment, someone could be awarded a contract
22:45and all of a sudden appear Tuesday nights on NXT. Well, look what happened to Kendall Gray last week.
22:49There, yeah, 100%. The main event, the blink of an eye in an instant.
22:53If you have what it takes, Shawn Michaels sees that ability and will change your life instantly
22:57by going to NXT for your career. And that's what the objective is here.
23:06Oh!
23:10Hard smash mouth offense. Harlem Lewis, Mike DeRuiter in. And Mike DeRuiter is from Belgium.
23:16He's a European athlete that brings so much to the table. Watch this guy's not only his strength,
23:21but watch his ability to fly. We get an opportunity. This guy is both an aerial assassin and a powerhouse
23:27all in one. I'm waiting for this to pop off between these four because it seems
23:31like there's a lot of egos in this match. There's a lot of bad attitudes to match,
23:36but I want to go back to last week as well because Drake was able to pick up a victory.
23:40And as we talk
23:40about, if you can pick up a win, you can impress some people, you can find yourself in the main
23:45event spotlight. And that's exactly what he has done. Well, he had to see what happened to Kendall
23:49Gray last week and go, this could be an opportunity of a lifetime. Drake Moreau in our main event tonight,
23:53again, Nathaniel Cranston. And that's going to be an opportunity for him to really excel and show Shawn
23:59Michaels what he's made of. Huge main event still to come. What a way to kick it off with this
24:03tag team
24:03matchup and a hard hitting affair already starting out. And you said it a few times. Well, wait a minute.
24:10Look at this sidewalk slam. Is that going to be enough to pick up the win in another near fall
24:16in this match?
24:16It's been early on, but you see a lot of trash talking going on, a lot of chirping, a little
24:22bit
24:22more than we've seen from last week and even the last two seasons. I would say these four guys are
24:28are known as, you know, more brash, I think, of the individuals here at the Performance Center.
24:33I'm not surprised the trash talking is going to be there. Harley Regans and Jax Presley,
24:37of course, in there with Mike the Rooter who can fly but is caught midair by Jax Presley. Take a
24:42look
24:42around and you're starting to see the competition here on season three just at a different level.
24:48It's a different vibe. It's a different feel as a tag was made and look at the Rooter,
24:52not wasting any time. Both big men all the way to the outside.
25:05Continuing action here on LFG, Harley Regans in control of Harlem Lewis.
25:14You know, I see right now what I need to work with these guys on.
25:19My guys, they know how to make themselves look good. Yeah.
25:23But in this business, you got to know how to make the other guys look good too. They're not even
25:26trying to do that. They're only a year in also. Right. It just wasn't designed in a way to make
25:34it
25:35exciting and then take something away. Nobody's begging to see the baby faces.
25:41They don't even know. I'm still not convinced who the baby faces are.
25:44No, they are baby faces in this match. They really are.
25:49Kevin Owens brings up a good point. Let me get your take on that of the baby faces in this
25:54matchup. I
25:55think it's four men that are in there right now just trying to prove dominance and no one wants to
25:59back
26:00down. Well, listen. And if Shawn Michaels calls Jax Presley and says, I'm taking you,
26:04but I'm not taking your tight team partner, Harley Regans. Well, guess what? Jax Presley's going.
26:09And there you go, JB. You got to see your guy do his thing and fly through the air. So
26:15much
26:15strength and power mixed with an ability to fly. A very rare combination. But Mike DeRuiter can
26:21pull it off. DeRuiter getting back into the ring now. You saw his athleticism. Now you're seeing some
26:26that strength, gut wrench style. Sit down, power bomb into the cover. And Presley just breaking, acting
26:35up at the last second. I don't know if Harley is used to being tossed around like that by anybody.
26:41As now things are really starting to break down in this tag team match, JB. I feel bad for our
26:47official.
26:48Certainly has his hands full with these four.
26:52What a close. Back in the ring. DeRuiter just able to kick out. Going right back in into the throat.
27:00Nasty. Vicious. And getting hoisted up. Harley now. Dropping. Face first. DeRuiter into the cover.
27:09Will it be enough? And we have victors. Here we go, baby. You're my boys.
27:16That was real flat. That was real flat. I didn't know that was finished.
27:28That was real. That was real flat.
27:29So late to do anything.
27:30Should have done it while the mass was happening.
27:37Oh, that's a shoot. Yeah, we gotta shoot. We gotta shoot here.
27:44How you guys feeling? Good.
27:49All the work's pretty solid. But it was, it was pretty boring. Like, there was no, we couldn't really
27:56tell who were heels or, like, you didn't really give any reason to cheer for you guys early on.
28:00Y'all had four minutes of heat. All right? If I beat on somebody for four minutes, four minutes is
28:06the eternity. Yeah.
28:07As a heel, you dictate the match. It's the baby's job to put themselves over, but we didn't give them
28:12enough to put themselves over. And we should have been able to call maybe an alternate game plan,
28:15not just beating their ass for the whole match.
28:18What happened after?
28:19It was just a big million.
28:21No, he spit at least.
28:22He did? Yeah.
28:23Legit? Yeah.
28:24And I'm not mad. I'm not hot about it. But like, also, I'm not going to let him spit at
28:27me and walk
28:28away. Like, I'm going to slap him in the face.
28:30They're beating our asses the whole entire match. Eight minutes of just them kicking our ass and they
28:34win. And for this to just spit on me and my tag team partner, you're not going to get away
28:39with that
28:39with me.
28:40In this industry, it's about eye catching. You know, if I stepped on anybody's toe, I don't think there's
28:44anything wrong with course correction. But in the moment, that felt like the right thing to do. And
28:47it happened.
28:49With me, with like that, I wait on that guy to come back to the curb.
28:53Yeah.
28:53I never let the fans see me do like that in front of them.
28:56At the same time, though, the fans are going to see you get on the way.
29:00That, that. When you're handling business, you let that sumbitch walk in the back and you handle it
29:07like a man.
29:08I didn't see him spit on you. What I'm trying to illustrate to Booker's point is the fans,
29:12you know, maybe three or four saw it. You see what I'm saying?
29:15We didn't even see it. The only reason we saw something was off is because he went back to
29:18bite-faced them.
29:19Exactly.
29:20I got hot in the moment for sure. But at the end of the day, this is, this building,
29:23the performance center, this is where I make my money and I'm not going to screw with my money.
29:26And honestly, the people that I grew up with that I would actually like fist fight with
29:30ended up becoming my best friends. So I, who knows?
29:33While Harlem ponders Booker T's advice, an LFG newcomer seeks to make a good first impression.
29:39My name is Nathan. Nathan.
29:40Yes, I've been a pro wrestler for three years in England before this.
29:44Oh yeah.
29:45My family are sheep farmers. So I didn't grow up with as many cameras as this, but
29:48My name is Nathaniel John Ronald Cranton. I'm 22 years of age. I'm a seventh generation sheep farmer.
29:57The only time my grandfather would actually stop working on the farm was to watch the wrestling.
30:03And it's something that always stuck with me. There aren't many people that can shear a sheep
30:08in a minute. And I can. I can kick their asses in not much longer than that.
30:15You know, when you was watching it with your grandfather, did you believe it was
30:22entertainment or did you believe it was real?
30:24I was watching it like I kind of knew, but also I didn't care.
30:28Yeah.
30:28I never doubted that, okay, just because maybe it's predetermined, it's not tough or that.
30:34I never doubted how much of a man you got to be to do this.
30:37Like, I see big things for Nathan. I really do. I think this kid may, um, take season three by
30:45storm.
30:45If we could just put him in the right position.
30:48Are we ready?
30:49Yes, sir.
30:49Let's get it done.
30:50Booyah.
30:55This is brutal honesty. I really believe in you.
31:01I believe in Drake. I want to see Drake succeed,
31:05but I can't go wrestle for Drake Moreau. No bull . It has to happen now.
31:14Once he goes through that curtain, he's on his own. Do or die, put up or shut up,
31:20get over or get out. We're going to shock the world?
31:23Are we going to shock the world? You're fired up now.
31:25You are fired up. Hell yeah.
31:27Because I want this to work for you. You feel that grip right now?
31:30Yes, sir.
31:31That's how bad I want it to work for you.
31:32Yes, sir.
31:33All right? Take a chop. All right.
31:35Ah! Go get him.
31:37Drake has been hearing the same thing for a while now. I need to see him become a big,
31:43mean, dangerous guy tonight. And that's what's going to get him noticed by Sean.
31:52Energy is through the roof as we walk you in to legends and future greats.
32:02We want to bring you in ringside. Big Joseph alongside Jeremy Boras. JB, are you ready for week two of
32:10LFG?
32:10I'm still recovering from week one and what happened and what went down and what we saw.
32:15What we've seen so far in this season is anything can happen. Fasten your seatbelt,
32:19because somebody could end up on NXT by the end of this episode. Let's see what happens.
32:37The calling contest is scheduled forward. Here we go, Drake Moreau.
32:50And just like that, JB is swiveling the hips. Keep your jacket on. He's not throwing any beats to you.
32:57Yeah.
32:59He's got all eyes on him right now. I think if you don't succeed early in this season,
33:07I think it's time to think about some other people.
33:15Nathaniel Granton debuting here on LFG. And I'll tell you what, I had a moment with Booker T
33:21right before coming out here tonight. And he had high expectations. A very limited time.
33:28He knew Booker T had the sense. This kid has it.
33:34Well, I wouldn't, uh, necessarily say this individual is regal by any means,
33:41but he is a former 2024 Mr. England pageant winner.
33:50Uh, what is that? Mr. England pageant winner? I asked, I said, is this about physique?
33:54Is this about, you know, this is strictly a male beauty contest. And this guy took it home for all
33:59of England.
34:01Uh, hold on a second. So, uh, I'm listening to the music. I see the curtsy. That was very King
34:12Booker,
34:13if you don't mind me making a reference about that. Do you think Booker T helped him with the, uh,
34:17curtsy, so to speak?
34:18Uh, there's many possibilities. Booker T can teach you many different things, obviously.
34:22But right out of the gate, we're going to see something out of Nathaniel Cranton to keep an eye on.
34:27His quickness, his size, his ability, his in-ring IQ. Booker T says, this kid has it.
34:34Let's see if he's right. Let's talk about his opponent in this match, because you said the word
34:39growth for Drake. That's what Bubba's looking for. He's looking for this man to take not just a baby
34:46step. He's looking for him to take a giant bayou leap. A bayou leap's a good expression. Obviously,
34:51what results from Drake Moreau and what we have seen so far in season one. A learning curve,
34:56no question about it. Season two, he brought more of an energetic, a more fierce attitude,
35:01and he says in season three, he's turning the volume up to 11.
35:05Well, I mean, you'd have to agree, then, when you talk about season one, season two,
35:09this being season three. I hate to use it this way, but is it time to put up or shut
35:15up?
35:15Many people think so. Many people think so, including Shawn Michaels, including head coach
35:22of the Performance Center, Matt Blue. He's selling for one. He's doing everything he needs to do right now.
35:29Oh, oh, sidestep. And right now, chopping down the big fella goes Cranton. And Cranton right now,
35:36right on top and taking full advantage. And you know, this is also something Booker T has said to
35:41him. If you have a man down, you got to step on him. You got to take him down. You
35:45got to keep
35:46your foot on the gas. I can't wait to see the expertise, the knowledge that Booker T is going
35:50to share with these individuals. Of course, Bubba Ray, as well. We've seen them in the first two
35:55seasons of LMG, bestow so much knowledge and benefit so many great athletes here at the Performance Center.
36:02Grab this hole right here and hold it a little bit.
36:04You got to leave the crowd coming in. Yeah, you got to leave the crowd coming in.
36:08Huh? Huh? Huh? Huh? Huh? Sound like these kids are listening if you don't. Huh?
36:13Sound like they got IFB in the ear, huh? God, you're talking right to them.
36:16When everybody comes to the Performance Center, they all have their own story. They all have their
36:19own background, come from different places. Nathaniel Cranton comes to us from a family of sheepers.
36:24Now he finds himself in the middle of an LFG ring, fighting for his life against Drake
36:29Moreau. He certainly did, and I don't know if you really saw the torque on the knee,
36:31but Cranton had to get out of that some way, somehow, and going right back low,
36:36but a nice knee answered back. And now is really time, I would think, if you're Bubba Ray,
36:41you're looking at that aggression. You're looking at that fire, that will to want to win,
36:47being able to overcome, and that is what we're seeing right now, at least a glimpse from Big Drake.
36:53Well, what we're seeing from Drake, and what we have seen from Drake Moreau, is a lot of heart.
36:58You know, everybody walks around here at the Performance Center with, you know,
37:01different reputations and whatnot.
37:02Oh, the knee, the knee, the knee, J.B., the knee.
37:05Referee Jeremy Marcus stepping in from behind, with the feet on the ropes,
37:10if Booker would say by any means necessary.
37:13Certainly so would a certain Mr. Regal, who may have taught him that along the way.
37:19What we're seeing from Nathaniel Cranton so far here.
37:22That was a great job by our fish line. Bang!
37:25Whoa!
37:25That first you don't succeed, try again. Spinning, discus, lariat.
37:30In spite of that leg, he's able to fly that pressure, that power, and look at this, locked in.
37:35Can he do it?
37:36Yes!
37:36Massive, big chokeslam, and a big victory tonight.
37:44Here's your winner, Drake Moreau!
37:48Let the party continue.
37:51Well, we certainly saw an explosive ending of the week number one.
37:54I wonder what the heartbreak kid Shawn Michaels could possibly be thinking now,
37:58after seeing what he just witnessed in the ring from Drake Moreau.
38:01I think they did good.
38:02See the dancing, though?
38:04The dancing don't make sense with the heat on the leg.
38:07Let's take a look at what we just witnessed from Drake Moreau.
38:11And a clothesline that nearly took off the head of Nathaniel Cranton.
38:15And then he's able to follow it up with this massive chokeslam.
38:18That was the second time he attempted that chokeslam.
38:21A lot done to the lower body, a lot done to the knee.
38:24But the boy from the Bayou was able to overcome it here tonight.
38:28And you said it earlier, a blink of an eye, you can go from LFG to NXT.
38:36Shawn watched your whole match.
38:39He was watching as intently as I've ever seen.
38:44Did you accomplish what you wanted to accomplish tonight,
38:48based on what I talked about with you and what Coach Bloom talked about with you?
38:52I personally feel that I did, yes.
38:53Could you have done any better?
38:55No.
38:57Good. If that's the answer I want to hear.
39:00If you're going home, at least you know that you did the best you can.
39:04Yeah.
39:10It's a new day at the Performance Center,
39:12and Drake Moreau has been called into a meeting with Shawn Michaels.
39:17Come on over here and have a seat for me.
39:18Yes, sir. How are we doing?
39:19Doing great. Doing great, sir.
39:21Look, Drake, you've been here for how many years now?
39:25Almost three.
39:25Almost three, right? Yeah.
39:26And look, all the coaches, everybody here speaks extremely highly of you.
39:31The reality is, though, that after a certain amount of time,
39:35we have to make decisions about how much more time and investment we're going to put into somebody
39:41before they start to get this. So with that said, unfortunately, your time here at the PC is going to
39:48be over with.
39:52The reality is we simply just do not have a place for you right now in NXT.
40:00But the other side of that coin is there's a huge opportunity for you in AAA.
40:10Man, when Shawn told me my time at the PC was coming to an end, my heart just sank.
40:15Everything I've worked on since being here, all the memories I've made, all the people I've met,
40:19just felt like I lost everything right there in that moment.
40:23But then he tells me I'm going to AAA and I'm just filled with excitement.
40:28You know, like I watch it a lot. Roxanne was actually on a show not too long ago.
40:33And a true story I actually told her after that show, I was like, I would love to go to
40:37AAA
40:38and be a part of a culture that I'm not used to and just soak all that in and learn.
40:43I'm ready to get to work.
40:47That's going to be a place where you're going to be in front of fantastic crowds.
40:51You're going to be in a wrestling environment.
40:53And I think you're really going to come into your own down there.
40:57You're going to go down there, AAA, with the guy that you've worked with before.
41:02I have every confidence in you that you will find incredible success down there.
41:07And as things thin out here in NXT, I have no doubt there'll be a place where you're here
41:12sooner rather than later. So, congratulations.
41:16All right.
41:16All right.
41:16Thanks, man.
41:17You got it.
41:18I'll give you a heart attack.
41:21Big fan of Drake.
41:23Big fan of Drake since season one.
41:27Saw so much potential in him.
41:30I'll be following his career.
41:32I'll have to put on the subtitles so I know exactly what they're talking about.
41:36But great job, Drake.
41:38Best of luck.
41:40My time on LFG was absolutely amazing and really life-changing.
41:45You know, LFG gave me the opportunity to be on TV every week and show what I can do in
41:51the ring,
41:51show who I am outside of the ring, be surrounded by all these great legends and learn so much from
41:57them.
41:58For Undertaker to give me this opportunity, you know, he must have saw something in me.
42:02And working with him, I really grew as a wrestler and as a performer into what someone my size and
42:09my stature needs to be.
42:11So, I'm just so happy to continue to build on what we started and see how far we can take
42:16this thing, man.
42:22LFG, I love you.
42:23I appreciate you.
42:24Make sure you keep up with your boy Drake Moreau on his AAA adventure.
42:28And just know this ain't a goodbye, it's a see you later, alligator.
42:33Come on!
