00:00Do you mind how big of a setback is this for the four week old ceasefire between the U.S.
00:05and Iran?
00:07Well it's certainly a test of the ceasefire and I will say that overnight it was interesting to
00:13note that President Trump was not drawn in to actually saying that this was a constitute a
00:20violation of the ceasefire. So again perhaps you know preserving some options keeping their cards
00:26close to their chest and the world is waiting to see how the U.S. are going to respond to
00:30this because
00:31things have dramatically escalated for the worst in the last 24 hours. Overnight the UAE Ministry of
00:37Defense saying that they had intercepted 15 missiles in total three cruise missiles 12 ballistic missiles
00:45four drones and one of those drones actually did manage to cause a significant amount of damage at
00:52one of the Fujairah oil facilities three injuries there as well. So we are back to a situation where
01:00certainly everyone is on heightened alerts and I will tell you as a UAE resident for the first time
01:05in four weeks yesterday we received a series of text alerts on our phones about the possibility of
01:12these missile attacks. So yes there has been an escalation of sorts. Once again the diplomatic channels are
01:19being worked. The GCC Gulf countries have come together in support of the UAE condemning the Iranian
01:25attacks on on UAE last night. A call was held between the Saudi leader MBS and the Crown Prince MBS
01:32and
01:32MBZ but also calling for de-escalation. At the same time I think there has been a lot of focus
01:39on what has been
01:40happening around the straits. A lot of activity there in action. You could say that it was actually this project
01:46freedom that President Trump launched about 24 hours ago that sets in motion this cascade of events that led
01:53to Iran once again firing projectiles at the UAE. Where we go from here obviously is in the hands of
02:00the U.S.
02:01and what they decide to do. But it is a very delicate situation once again.
