00:00But the PGA Championship, just about what, a week and a half on the horizon?
00:04That's what the people want, Joe, and that's what we're going to give them.
00:08Let's do it.
00:08I mean, it's right around the corner here.
00:10Can we find something, some market with who finishes second?
00:14Because I've got a pretty good idea who might.
00:17How about that?
00:18Top two in the marketplace taking Scotty Sheffield seems like a pretty good bet.
00:21Eronomy coming to the Philadelphia area, the PGA Championship.
00:25No surprise once again on the Calci marketplace.
00:27Who was the favorite to win that tournament?
00:29It's Scotty Sheffield, Joe, at 18%, followed by Rory McIlroy, who seems like he's doing the Tiger Woods plan,
00:35only playing the majors because you can.
00:37And then there's Cam Young on fire down there at Doral over the weekend.
00:41John Rahm, who's worried about if he's going to have a job on a day-to-day basis.
00:45Xander Joffle, Bryson DeChambeau, and away we go.
00:47But the favorite, as always, is Scotty Sheffield, Joe.
00:52Well, of course he's the favorite.
00:54I mean, because he's always in and around up at the top there somewhere.
00:57And again, the problem for him has been the same, Donnie, for a while now.
01:03It's he has that one slow start, that early round where he doesn't quite get it all in rhythm.
01:10But his next three rounds put him in the top three, the top five.
01:14So, you know he's going to be there on Sunday.
01:17So, the question is, can he put four rounds together in a major to get it done this time?
01:24Right now, nothing's leading me to believe that, yeah, it's going to happen because this has been going on for
01:29a while right now.
01:30So, I would still look to fade Scotty Sheffield, unfortunately, until we can see a little more consistency out of
01:37him.
01:37I told you, Joe, we've been talking for months here on these marketplaces, fading Scotty Sheffield to not win a
01:42major.
01:42Yeah, it's tough because he's always at the top of the leaderboard, but still hard to knock it down.
01:46And Scotty Sheffield not coming in as invincible as he once was, just rolling over everybody.
01:50He's still as competitive, and he's still in second.
01:53But also, we told you last week after that Thursday round, ooh, only minus one, seven shots back.
01:57Watch what he does Friday.
01:58He went under his number on Friday as he anticipated.
02:01Which then leads us, Joe, if you don't want to take Scotty Sheffield to win it, how's he going to
02:05do in round number one, round number two, round number three?
02:07Let's take a look at the leader at the end of round number one.
02:10Of course, it's going to be Scotty Sheffield, but he is tied with John Rahman, 8.6% chance to
02:15do that, followed by Rory and Bryson.
02:17So, theoretically, Joe, the players that we think can win this tournament will probably be competitive on the first day.
02:23But we know Scotty's M.O.
02:24Eh, see what this course is about.
02:26Outday number one, then hit the gas pedal, but it's hard to track guys down when you're down five, six,
02:31seven, eight shots after round number one, Joe.
02:34Yeah, I mean, that's the problem, Donnie, and I know a lot of guys, what they're starting to do is
02:38find the matchups, the matchup markets, and looking whoever is Scotty's up again, fade him.
02:45Because, again, it's the slow starts.
02:48He could literally have four other wins so far this year, easily at this particular point, had he actually not
02:57shot 71, 72 on a Thursday.
03:01Exactly.
03:01And also, if you're looking at maybe Rory McIlroy laying in the weeds once again, like he was ambushing people
03:06at the Masters, $100 investment will pay back $1,266 for Rory on day number one to have that lead.
03:13PGA Championship end of round two leader.
03:16Now, this doesn't say, like, hey, you've got to have to shoot a bad round Thursday and a great round
03:20Friday to get you in the lead.
03:21You've got to have the lead here after round number two.
03:23Shoffley, the leader, Joe, 24%.
03:27Rory, 19%.
03:28You say to yourself, as I'm scrolling down right now, do we even have a Scotty Scheffler only, Joe?
03:35See, this is where it comes into the M.O.s of what we see.
03:38But Scotty Scheffler had the lead at round number two.
03:40It's only at $0.15 is the yes.
03:43$100 investment pays back $6.67.
03:45We always look to fade Scheffler.
03:47This looks like an opportunity where he plays decent or even has the lead on day number one.
03:52He's probably going to have the lead day number two, and you're getting a good price on that.
03:56Well, we just watched Cameron Young also go wire to wire at Doral here.
04:02So nobody's in better form than he is right now with his second win on tour this year.
04:07He's had a couple of runner-ups.
04:09Yeah, there are some guys I would look to invest at the $0.15 mark here for sure.
04:16And then here you go, right?
04:17Moving day on Saturday, and away you go.
04:20Leader at the end of three, John Rahm, 39%.
04:22Scotty Scheffler rockets up the board again to 35%.
04:26Gerard, 34%, which is kind of interesting.
04:29Rory McIlroy, 30%.
04:30Now you get to the winners and the cream rising to the top.
04:34Scotty Scheffler's yes contract there, Joe.
04:36$100 investment pays back $2.86, the leader, overnight before the final round.
04:43Yeah, I would have no problem with that market right now because we know, Donnie, as long as he doesn't
04:48shoot himself out of the tournament on Thursday, there's a good chance he'll be right at the top of the
04:53leaderboard heading into Sunday.
04:56Rory McIlroy, 30% contract there, $100 investment pays back $3.34.
05:00If he's in the lead heading into Sunday at the PGA, BME.
05:04We'll see you tomorrow once again.
