00:00Thank you so much for having me.
00:04You will know that you have a new film with father's marriage and his concept is very unique.
00:11Family emotions and humor also.
00:14So, what did you think about this film?
00:19Why did this film make a yes moment for you?
00:23Because, when I heard this story first,
00:26I would only have one minute for this film.
00:29For this film, I signed this film a long time ago.
00:35And for me, as an actor, it was very necessary to play something which is very light-hearted,
00:41very easy after playing the intense part that I had done before with my past three films.
00:51And for me, the moment I listened to this story, I knew that,
00:56the moment I listened to this story, I knew that this is the kind of story that I personally also
01:02want to tell
01:03because this film highly speaks about family, relationships, parenthood, grandparents,
01:08and everything that I personally resonate with.
01:11So, there's no question, like within a minute I said yes after listening to the script.
01:16What are your memories of your grandparents? And what are your memories of the film stories?
01:21I lost my dadi a couple of years ago, during Naksha Bandhan only.
01:27And I was pretty close to her.
01:30My dad was very early.
01:32When I listened to a story, I felt that it was such a relatable story,
01:38that we all have family, relationships, that it's something that we should definitely tell from our medium.
01:49My relationship with them was so beautiful.
01:52My relationship with them was so beautiful.
01:52Even when I thought about it, I felt like yesterday's story.
01:56And that's the same relationship that I got on the screen with my co-actors.
02:03It was beautiful.
02:15Definitely.
02:16In today's time, the film is very low.
02:18When I heard this story before I heard it,
02:20then I also felt that it was necessary to make this story.
02:24Because we haven't seen a family film in a long time,
02:28which talks about all relationships,
02:30which has comedy, laughter, sadness, tears, all sorts of emotions.
02:36It's a film that will not offend anyone.
02:38It's not on any political angle.
02:40It's not on any kind of thing.
02:45You can see it with children.
02:46You need to close their eyes.
02:48You need to see it with children.
02:49You need to see it with children.
02:50You need to see it with your parents.
02:50You need to see it with your family.
02:51It's a film that you can see it with your friends.
02:53You can see it with your friends.
02:55It's just a film that you can see with your entire family.
03:02In this film, we have worked with so many actors.
03:08It's also Charma and Neetu Kapoor.
03:11How did the bonding develop with them?
03:13Did you have learned something like this?
03:17There's a lot of things.
03:18Whatever I learnt,
03:20I think when you work with legends like them,
03:23there's always constant learning.
03:25And I feel truly blessed and honored that right from the,
03:29like this is just the beginning of my career.
03:31And I've gotten to learn so much from these guys.
03:34You've told them 10 minutes,
03:36so you're all learning.
03:37And for me, Anubha was a whole learning experience.
03:41I think I have learned so much from this.
03:44I think that's really the best thing for the time.
03:47Yeah,
03:47I think that's how much to do this.
03:50I can see it all.
03:52I think that's really the best thing to do.
04:06I think it's really the best thing.
04:07It's really the best thing for me.
04:08it's really the best thing to do.
04:10with that it never for even a second felt like that there is something stressful that
04:16I need to do. It was just like, aap ke aas paas jise mahol hote hai aap vise khud bhi
04:20ban jaate hai. Toh unke saath kaam kirke waisa hii laga. It just became too easy for
04:25me to do it.
04:55Even if it, if clicks one of it, I go for it.
05:00Aap ne aap previous performance me eek subtle intensity dih, ya dihti hai. Ki aai ee conscious
05:05choice hoti hai aap loud or over the top roles te shoda dhuri rethi?
05:10Aasa kush nahi hai. I mean kisi cheeze dhuri nahi rethi hai. I wanna just keep my body of
05:14work really open. I'm, I've just started out and I want to do as many different genres
05:19and as many different characters as possible. It's just a matter of opportunity that comes
05:23my way. If I'll get to do an over the loud character tomorrow, I would not even shy once
05:29because as an actor I want to explore all kind of genres and every kind of character. It's
05:34just that the accidentally nature wise, destiny wise, whatever is happening is happening and
05:38I'm just going with it.
05:41I think both of two superheroes as well as John and Akshay Mahal. You know, who
05:46are the ones who the disciplines and work ethic you and you've been able to enjoy going
05:48to do with it. So what do you observe in the sets with them? And how do you apply the
05:52bindi that you've experienced and apply to fashion? I think all those actors, those who
06:00I have learned something that I have learned.
06:02And maybe Akshay sir's fun, intense scenes, lighthearted, to hold the set together.
06:13Maybe John sir's discipline, conviction, and hard work at this stage of his career.
06:21And he's warm, warm, humility, or involved.
06:26I think every set has taught me something which I am trying to embody in my career.
06:33Yeah, it's something that is just helping me to become the person I am turning into be.
06:38If you compare the film to dadi's marriage and your family,
06:43both films are different in tone and scales.
06:45Do you want to showcase your versatility?
06:50No, it's not all.
06:51These films I have done before Diplomat's release.
06:54At that time, the story came and the story came.
06:59Both have different stories.
07:00Both have different kinds of work.
07:03Both are great people who are making.
07:06It's not a thoughtful process at this stage of my career,
07:10where I have just literally, where I feel I have just started out.
07:13Now it's just started.
07:14So it's not intentionally thoughtful.
07:18It's just happening by God's grace.
07:21Do you think it's important for actors to explore every genre or typecasting?
07:29No difference is to be very honest.
07:32It happens, I'm sure.
07:33But you do your work.
07:34You do your work.
07:36Whatever the opportunity you will give,
07:37you will give your best.
07:39The rest of the people will be willing to do.
07:40What should I do?
07:41What should I do?
07:42If you don't have stress on Instagram,
07:44if you don't have stress on Instagram,
07:45if you don't have stress on Instagram,
07:46if you don't have stress on Instagram,
07:46if you don't have stress on Instagram,
07:47if you don't have stress on Instagram,
07:48it totally depends.
07:49What do you want in life?
07:51I don't want to think about what role it is.
07:55I just want to give my best,
07:59what I have to offer.
08:00I just want to do my best in terms of the opportunities that will come my way.
08:06I just hope and I pray that good opportunities come my way,
08:09but they're not in my hands.
08:10I can only give my best.
08:12you should like the audience.
08:15That's how the directors will reach out to me for more.
08:18That's it.
08:18Just give your best in whatever you're doing and not really stress about other stuff.
08:22It's just conversations.
08:23As long as they are,
08:24they're just happening only because,
08:26if,
08:27yeah.
08:28I think that you're a strong person.
08:30What do you think about social media?
08:31How strong are you?
08:33How strong are you?
08:34How strong do you think about social media?
08:37I think I'm strong.
08:38I mean,
08:39obviously, social media is a strong platform.
08:40And,
08:41it's very stressful.
08:43Because,
08:44you need to work.
08:45You need to have brands.
08:47But,
08:48that's not called your career.
08:50If you want to cast a film in your film,
08:55it won't match your perspective with your perspective.
08:58Because,
08:59that doesn't land into good acting.
09:03Social media is just me having fun with Instagram.
09:07I am obsessed with social media,
09:09because I'm addicted to watching Reels.
09:12Nothing more than that.
09:14Because,
09:15people say that,
09:16they're also getting fun from social media.
09:18Brands are definitely.
09:19But,
09:20if you get a film,
09:20it means that something needs to be done.
09:23Finally,
09:24when the audience will see you in your family,
09:28what do you expect?
09:29How do you connect with your character?
09:32Emotion,
09:33Relativity
09:34or a social message?
09:36There are three things.
09:37Eight months,
09:38I know.
09:39All of it.
09:40All of it.
09:40Definitely.
09:43Thank you so much.
09:43Thank you so much.
