00:00Shani, first of all, welcome to INES.
00:02And Shani, first of all, you have to know that your entry in cinema is completely independent.
00:08Without any film's legacy.
00:10So, when you left your home and left your dream pursue,
00:14what have you seen after that?
00:18How did your face shape your career?
00:23I think that was the best decision of my life.
00:26Because I feel anyone who wants to do something,
00:29should pursue their dreams.
00:32Because I think,
00:34if I don't pursue anything else,
00:38then I'm not happy.
00:38So, I'm very happy that I made that decision.
00:41So, I always look back and see it with very kind eyes.
00:44And I'm very grateful that I made myself go through that to be here.
00:49Yeah.
01:01I think, it's not just the industry. I think life may patience or consistency when you're growing.
01:12when you're growing.
01:15So, I think that's life.
01:17And I think that this industry has taught me a lot.
01:19It has taught me to be patient.
01:20It has also taught me to have self-belief.
01:25And that's just stronger with time.
01:28And I do think that in life consistency matters in your growth.
01:33And I do think that's my approach to life in general.
01:50I think that's important.
01:51I think that's really what you have to do.
01:52And you make sure that you're looking for it for other people.
01:54So, I want to know your perspective on your creative video.
02:00You're looking for the doubt for other people.
02:03And your own perspective.
02:04And you choose to learn and learn more about the explorers.
02:05So, you choose to learn more about the spiritual journey.
02:05You choose your creative.
02:05Also, I want to have a good time on set because my maximum time is set, when we are working
02:10on set, we are doing a lot of time on set.
02:13We are doing a lot of time on set, we are doing a lot of time on set, we are
02:14doing a lot of time on set, we are doing a lot of time on set.
02:16So, I am trying to work with people, I am doing a lot of time on set.
02:22I am doing such characters that motivate me and also push me to be a better artist.
02:32What do you think is that the role of an actor is to bring longevity and artistic evolution?
02:41Sorry, what do you mean?
02:43Layered emotional characters, complex characters attract you.
02:47So, what do you think is that the role of an actor is to bring longevity and artistic evolution?
02:54But when we talk about complex characters, in life we are all complex.
02:59We are not monotone, some people know about their complexes, some people don't.
03:04But I think in life, growth means to understand your complexities and move forward.
03:10And that's what cinema is and I do think, I hope that's how my characters are and I hope that's
03:19the characters we write and I get to play.
03:21Because that's what human beings are. I don't think human beings are black and white.
03:37It was my stepping stone in the industry. So, of course it gave me my career and the validation and
03:44the love that I got from Arjun Reddy is just something that was a big boost of motivation.
03:50So, any actor, it would be a dream for any actor to be that and to have that.
04:07I think, characters are characters. Project is a project depending on who you are working with. Raji is a very,
04:15very special character in my life.
04:16I got to learn a lot through Raji in terms of his graph and also I got to work with
04:23some really amazing people especially Shabana Azmi and I am always going to be very grateful about it.
04:35I think I relate to Mariam a lot because I do come from a small town and my journey has
04:39been very similar.
04:40So, emotions I didn't have any problem in understanding.
04:46But the journey itself has been so interesting that to relive those emotions because it comes from a lived experience
04:53was quite fascinating for me.
05:00I think any human, their work is obviously a different aspect of their life but I do feel that personally
05:10I am a human first and animals, it's not that it's a movement that I have chosen.
05:16It's something that, this is the only way I know how to live. If I, that comes very naturally to
05:21me. I have two animals and I do think if I don't do that, I don't know how to be.
05:27So, that means for me. That's why I do what I do. I don't do it because I should be
05:39a good human being. I think it's a social responsibility for everyone because they cannot speak for themselves.
05:44Therefore, I think as a human being, I feel it's my responsibility that I just need to do it. It's
05:51basic.
05:51Yeah.
05:53In your phase, what kind of film, stories and characters do you want to equip your artistic journey to your
05:58artistic journey?
06:00I just want to work with people that push me beyond my comfort. Because when you are as an artist,
06:09you are uncomfortable, you grow.
06:11And I hope I work with people who push me beyond that so that I am comfortable now. Because then
06:17you become a little complacent. So, I don't want to be that. I want to work with people who push
06:21me beyond my personality and my journey.
06:26Last week, future projects, what are your next messages?
06:31The project that I am currently working on is a tips project. Sneha Tarani is directing it and I am
06:36very excited for that. Sunny Kaushal is also a part of that project.
06:41The shoot is currently going on and hopefully, we see that this year. I am working with some very, very
06:49lovely people. So, I am very excited.
06:51But rest, I can't talk about and I hope, hopefully, I can speak about the projects that I am a
06:56part of.
